Completely pointless consoles with this new X being inferior to the original, leave it to Microsoft to make Sony look good in comparison.

If anything Microsoft needed the Pro more than Sony as our first party studios really have trouble getting past 30fps, of course that would have created a nightmare because of the S so now both companies have two systems developers have to develop for.

Yes is a problem caused by the Series S imo, the system was a mistake unfortunately ☹️ Phil took a gamble trying to undercut Sony but it didn't pay off as the gap between PS5 and X/S is bigger than the gap of PS4 and Xbone.

Now we are stuck with a console that's holding back the generation for Xbox and we don't even get the higher sales from it. Yes the system itself is great but the Series X should be destroying the PS5 with raw power but it can't because of the little brother.

Bet we don't see Xbox do this again next gen. We'll get two console with same specs 🤞

No this is something legitimate to complain about, I'm guessing the PC version doesn't have this 30fps is good enough disclaimer! I'll put it this way, if the Series S didn't exist all these games would be 60fps out the box 😐

I can't believe a human said that, so following this though no single player game really needs 60fps! So all the Souls games would be best in 30fps!! The person that said that should come out and apologize for treating us like idiots.

@Banjo- All these decisions won't really effect the most hardcore but Microsoft can really run a business counting on just fanboys sticking with the brand.

If you're someone like me who always buys all the consoles I see no reason to buy the next Xbox. Having a PS6 and Switch 2 is a safe bet for playing everything next gen.

So one update is bigger than two current gen games put together? No that's unacceptable they have to get together with Microsoft and fix it, if there's no fix then I would just delete the game and forget it ever existed.

Is just as boring as the first one if not more, easily my most disliked game of the year. Hopefully the series ended with part 2 and NT can go back to making fun games again like DmC & Enslaved!

That's messed up he must feel like ***** 🙁 even if he wasn't going to keep it he could have gotten a good chunk of money for it, specifically more if he held it for a couple of years.

Every single game should be running better on the X as it has the most power (current most powerful console in the world!), why would it be a story that a game runs better on it? Will you consider it a story when PS5 pro games run better than Series X games?

I meant by that comment is that even if it was ported to PlayStation tomorrow it still wouldn't sell despite the fan base liking these movie type games. Hellblade 2 appeals to such a small audience despite costing similar to any AAA game! hopefully this is the end of that series and NT can make fun games again like DmC🤞

I don't play games to bore myself or to know what it feels like to have mental health 😐 this game wouldn't fly on PlayStation let alone Xbox where it's users are known to prefer FPS and fast action games.

That's great news so that means Nintendo will return the favor by giving Xbox Diddy Kong racing, Star Fox Adventures, Donkey Kong 64 and the Donkey Kong country series!! No? Oh okay nevermind I thought Rare had made those for a second 😒

It's weird for Capcom of all people who have always supported Xbox, it can't just be low sales cause even if it is how much effort would it be to port the PS4 version to Xbone?

@Chaotic_Goat it definitely sounds sketchy, we know some Chinese companies use smoke & mirrors tactics for their games. I would wait till it's reviewed by every single publication before even considering purchasing.

Pretty sure in the 80s & 90s we didn't have this extreme publisher greed of mtx, battle passes, season passes and every little thing section off and sold back to us. Everything was unlocked in the full game so there was no need to cry and act entitled 😒

This can be a nice alternative to HD2 for those that only game on Xbox, would have to see some reviews before I would consider it.

Because we're basing it on previous situations (from this year!) and comments made by many developers from various studios. Is it possible it's because they want to prioritise PS5? yes! But are we really beyond the pale for suggesting it might be because of the series S again?

Series S stikes again! Unfortunately is going to be more common as games become for advanced. Hopefully Microsoft learned it's lesson and next gen they will have two systems with equal power.

So the game currently runs at a maximum of 4K 30fps on the X/PS5 so if they had done double the map would it be have been 4K 15fps or perhaps 480p 30? It just seems they aren't as talented as they think they are 😐

@BAMozzy I understood perfectly what was the developers intent as it's a direct continuation of her mental health in the first game and I will fight for their right to tell their story, obviously it wasn't going to be for everyone.

All that said it doesn't make the game any less boring for me knowing all of that 😕 I honestly would have prefer it in a movie format but I'm glad there are some people finding joy in it.

Hope this ends the Asymmetrical multiplayer garbage train, embarrassing that it's the only genre these studios are able to do with famous horror ips.

It needs to be rebooted from scratch by a new studio! Microsoft has more fps studios than anyone else so they surely could give the task to someone else. Could be id, Raven or even swapping in Treyarch to Halo and 343 to COD.

And that's the problem Microsoft has created for itself, they have trained Xbox owners that you must not pay for games and must wait to get them for free. Why would Sony port Helldivers 2 to Xbox when people are going to be asking for it to be free 😐

It really is sad all those cut corners, can't believe we got a spiritual successor to The order 1886. I could have forgiven all those if it had great fun gameplay, unfortunately no is a snoozefest more so than the first one. If they wanted to make a movie they should have just made it, I will pray for the return of DmC Ninja Theory 🤞

Ah yes another free trial aka we want to boast later about how many new players we have and are playing our already dead AAAA game.

I'll easily play the first 9 on repeat over playing Hellblade 2. I have to reiterate that if you didn't like the first one you definitely won't like 2, don't make the same mistake I made in thinking otherwise. Well at least I take comfort in that NT is making another game and it probably will be a new ip or perhaps returning to Enslaved?

It was what I was dreading, I would have prefer a ugly game but be fun to play in the vein of what Nintendo makes. This obviously applies to some of Sony's titles along with many third party studios, they prioritize graphics over actually making something that's fun for the player.

Seeing the reviews it seems like they put all their skill points on graphics and sound and everything else was an after thought. It's the opposite approach from Nintendo where they make sure the game is as fun as possible and graphics take a back seat.

This game honestly feels like it's releasing to the wrong audience, I will still try it on GP but there's no way I would have paid money for it. I hope after this NT goes back to their fast pace DmC & Enslaved dQays cause I'm personally done with these two over "emotional" games.

My favorite was Heavenly Sword but Enslaved and DmC are right there, I actually like all their games except Hellblade 😅 I will give Hellblade 2 a chance though, I just hope they at least give us a jog/run button this time cause It got so annoying slowly walking everywhere.

Obviously this is all rumors but if true I will be pissed off, you're making me pay more because of a game and franchise many of us don't care about 😐

I bought Xbox for Halo 1 which supplemented my PS2 and I have continued to buy both Sony's and Microsoft's consoles to this day. This is why it upsets me seeing the Xbox brand basically crumbling, much of it is from self inflicted wounds. PlayStation is best when Xbox is at it's best, I don't count Nintendo as they live in their own world.

I personally would have put it on GP 6 months after release, Microsoft is leaving allot of money on the table but I get it they can't just dismantle the roadmap for GP after all these years.

It's pretty obvious Satya Nadella and Amy Hood have taken the wheel, Phil Spencer and the rest of the people at Xbox have no say in the matter they probably were ordered to just stay home 😐

The blank checks days are over and Satya will get Xbox profits at any cost. Some Xbox fans will try to look at the positives but I don't see any, the suits have full control of Xbox and if they have to turn Xbox into Sega they will.

If I didn't already play it on GP I definitely wouldn't buy it now as I know that not even a single penny will go to the developers that made such a classic 😐

One of the most boring games I've ever played! slowly walking everywhere with mediocre combat and a irritating voice that couldn't shut up, their previous game was DmC which was fast and exciting so they just did the opposite of that for Hellblade!

Have pretty much Nasa level internet and found it terribly laggy with artifacts up the yahoo, also tried playing PS3 games from my PS5 with their service and is equally horrible. If gaming turns into just streaming I'm going to have to find a new hobby maybe collecting coins or something.

I love GP but if the result of me enjoying it is studios being close that would make content for it then I'm fine just doing away with it or at least not putting AAA exclusives on day one. For COD I would put all the games on GP except for the current years iteration, give it a year to get sales before adding it to the service.
