GP is a fantastic value for customers that has never changed, that being said I do think it was a mistake in the long haul (as it was implemented). I believe they should only add their first party exclusives a year after release, giving these AAA games a chance to first make millions in sales before going to GP.

They punish a great Studio for making a beloved game, Is too bad Tango couldn't get cozy with the Microsoft higher ups like 343 did 😐. Those guys get to pump out garbage after garbage are rewarded, I've never see the Halo franchise so dead and irrelevant.

Tango is (was apparently 🙄) an absolutely talented studio and your ONLY studio in Japan and you close it!? You know how hard it is for a western company to get ownership of a Japanese freaking studio! This is on par with Sony closing Japan Studio, no this maybe even be way more idiotic 🤦

They are a independent studio, they are working with Sony of their own free will. If they choose they can make 10 Xbox exclusives in a row

Is it the end of Xbox? No is not going anywhere for now but is horrible optics that they get to port all their games to PlayStation and Nintendo, in return they get absolutely nothing! Before Insomniac became obsessed with Marvel 🥲 unfortunately all they will be making now is Marvel Super heroe games so there's 0 chance of a sequel, remake or remaster.

I thought the first one was boring trash imo the fact you can only walk really drove me insane, if this is more of the same I will put a restraining order so that it stays far away from me. Now if they actually make it into a fun game with fast action and running then I'm in!

@Scirius That's the thing every single PlayStation exclusive releasing for PS5 (without exceptions!) gives players the option for not only 60 but sometimes there's 4 or 5 options.

You're telling me Xbox developers with the little extra power under the hood of the Series X (over PS5) can't give us at least two options for those that prefer 60?

Is it laziness or did they do some internal polling and found out that 60fps is Xbox players biggest opponent so to avoid us being defeated they limit our games to 30fps?

I have heard from many (here mostly) that the weaker PS5 was holding back the Series consoles, well Ninja Theory (and all first party studios) has access to all of the X's power and 30 fps is the best they can manage apparently 😐

Cheap lame excuse, if their intended vision is 30fps then they would limit the PC version to also 30 but they are not doing that. PC guys get the full 60fps or 30 if they choose to, perhaps Microsoft should push up the date of the new Xbox if the Series consoles are already maxed out.

Who would get this over the original Series X? You're literally paying for a Series X that does less.

It would hurt Xbox more than help to have a pro console. On top of the confusion it would cause customers, asking developers to make a game for 3 different Xbox SKUs would be asking too much.

Now if they dropped the Series S then yeah that would absolutely open the way for a Pro console, both Sony and Microsoft would then have developers make a game for their two systems.

That's a terrible decision from them, give us at minimum 30fps locked. As much as I want the game I will wait for either a 60 or 30fps locked down the road, I want nothing to do with uncapped anything.

Well at least is good for something 🤷 absolutely hated it along with PS Move and especially the Wii! There were so many great games that forced you to stand in front of the tv and move your arms like a jackass.

I got excited for a bit and thought it was a 360 mini like that plays your 360 games but is just useless junk that does nothing.

Nice try Ubisoft we know no one stayed after their trial was up! At best the people that are even slightly interested will be waiting for a massive super price cut.

The game is of course a flop but they have to give the appearance that is thriving more than Helldivers 2 and Palworld combined so that they can try and make some of that bloated $200 million budget back.

@Lup People care that the Xbox version of a first party title runs best on PlayStation, that's a horrible look no matter what the title is but is unfortunately on brand with the current Xbox vision.

Is basically whatever console is leading will be the default specs for everything else. At least with the PS5 pro releasing we will finally see the rest of the X's power!

So this is the hardware that they are releasing later in the year to compete with the PS5 Pro? I know they plan to jump into the next generation by 2026 but that's two years that Sony can claim they have the world's most powerful console!?

I'm guessing this is a one way street like always 😒 Microsoft gives them Rare developed games and in return Nintendo doesn't give Xbox the Rare developed Donkey Kong games. Xbox is really the Santa Claus of gaming!

@BacklogBrad so then Microsoft and PlayStation also have a fantastic partnership too! I thought the partnership would be Nintendo giving Microsoft permission to have the rest of the Rare developed games on Xbox (Diddy Kong Racing, Donkey Kong 64, Donkey Kong Country games, etc)

This is the legendary Microsoft and Nintendo partnership we heard about were Xbox gives Nintendo as many games as possible and in return they give Xbox nothing, what a partnership 👍

I don't know if is me but this doesn't sound like a AAAA $70 game 🤔 besides it has a Ubisoft logo so in a month you'll get it at half price and in 3 months you'll find it under $10

A complete waste of resources imo, there's basically already a couple of portable devices like Steam Deck and ROG Ally that can play almost all Xbox games and you can use Gamepass on them so what would be the difference besides having an Xbox logo? Paying for online?

We know how this will go as it has happened before, Microsoft began porting their games to PC but it was small drips here and there, then the floodgates were open completely when they saw the extra money coming in.

Putting on my Alex Jones branded tin foil hat are Phil and Xbox perhaps playing 3D chess and are putting a couple of high profile Xbox games on PS5 because they are already eyeing their next big acquisition and want it to go through smoothly?

Since Phil or Sarah aren't saying anything and are letting the world burn down around them all that's left is to make up fantasy scenarios in my head 🙂

It would take Phil a couple of seconds to tweet out "hey guys don't believe everything you hear, we promise we will make everything clear soon but please don't fall for misinformation or half truths"

Him putting something like that out would calm most reasonable people. He isn't saying anything though which is strange because he is usually the most talkative and communicates the best with the community from all the console makers.

I'm a big fan of NT but Hellblade was the only game of theirs I didn't like. I remember it was really slow not even taking into account you could not run in the game, plus a small amount of combat and pretentious story about mental health.

Despite my negative first paragraph I want this to be successful so they can do something else more fast paced, would definitely take a DmC sequel or a spiritual successor.

Very easy to say when you make games that could easily run on a Android phone from 2013. Also by his logic developers should still be making games for PS4/Xbone, hey if you target those systems first then the current Gen versions will then be super easy!

Number one ruins the entire list and pretty much makes it a fanboy ranking, this would be exactly like Spider-man 2 being Push Square's goty. Baldur's Gate 3 is better than those two games in almost every category but is not about that is it 🤷

This for all intended purposes should be a Xbox exclusive otherwise Microsoft have lost the plot! I didn't see or hear a mention of Xbox or GP but why wouldn't you mention that in the biggest stage for gaming if is exclusive to your platform 🤦

They could have been part of Microsoft and they would stayed making great Halo games with probably Destiny in the side. Now they have lost all their prestige and are only Bungie in name (although I do also acknowledge that Rare did lose their prestige after Microsoft bought them 🤷)
