Here we go, everyone! Forza Horizon 6 news is dropping all over the place today (including our review!), and therefore we've finally got some official footage from both the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S versions to share with you.

As we often do, we're looking to Fuzion Xbox Testing on YouTube for this early comparison, which is a channel that does a great job at sharing early looks for the Xbox Series X and S versions of lots of games.

On Xbox Series X, Forza Horizon 6 runs at a native 4K, 30FPS in Quality Mode and 4K with dynamic scaling at 60FPS in Performance Mode. There is a visual difference between the two, with Quality Mode being the definitive go-to for anyone bothered about the absolute best visuals (especially if you're planning to spend a lot of time in Photo Mode!), but Performance Mode still looks great and most importantly runs at a smooth 60FPS.

On Xbox Series S, Forza Horizon 6 runs at 1440p, 30FPS in Quality Mode and 1080p, 60FPS in Performance Mode, but with dynamic scaling in both. The Performance Mode definitely looks softer and less detailed than the Quality Mode, but again it sticks to a rigid 60FPS, which is pretty impressive if you ask us!

We'll leave you with both of Fuzion Xbox Testing's videos on Forza Horizon 6 down below, and don't forget that early access starts on May 15th if you have the Premium Edition or Premium Upgrade Bundle!

As an added bonus, Digital Foundry has also taken a look at Forza Horizon 6 in their tech review today, although it's a bit more focused on PC rather than Xbox. However, it does include the following statement:

"Shifting focus to the Xbox consoles, the performance mode delivers a beautiful and highly stable experience. The game targets a 4K resolution on the Series X and 1080p on the Series S, using dynamic resolution scaling to maintain a flawless 60fps without a single recorded dip in our testing. While the Series S understandably loses some clarity and distant detail compared to its more powerful sibling, both consoles manage to present a visually impressive experience."
