Was playing this last night and couldn't stop 😬 what a great game, loved it. I can see me playing this for some time.

I played enough BF6 on the first weekend to know I love it and will be buying. So I decided not to play any more this weekend as I didn't want to burn myself out for when it finally arrives. I had a few DIY duties this weekend so it was a quiet one for gaming.
How-ever I did manage to squeeze in a few rounds of golf with Easy Come, Easy Golf on the Switch... the game just keeps throwing new characters and challenges at me, it's a brilliant game.

I have OK internet and have never experienced any serious buffering that effects the gameplay. I guess it's hit or miss for some users.

Wow! I wasn't expecting this. Ubisoft are really passionate about The Division, and it shows in the DLC and updates they've churned out since it released back in (google check)... 2019. I love this game too, this is exciting news.

I'm looking forward to bringing the boom when this releases on xbox 😁

@Fiendish-Beaver I just did a quick google, and there are quite a few articles regarding the campaign.

I only managed a couple of hours, but what I did play was enough to convince me that Battlefield has returned. The destruction of buildings looks amazing too, it really ramps up the emersion and opens up the map in so many ways too.
I'm really hyped for this.

Even in it's BETA phase, I thought it played amazingly. Other than witnessing some weird player animations after being killed, everything else seemed to run flawlessly.
Even though I will be paying £70, I'm really looking forward to this one, because I know I will spend a lot of time with this.

Aww no, Riders Republic. I've had a great time with that one 😫 Hopefully that stays a while longer.

Battlefield 6... Some Battlefield 6, then a bit more of Battlefield 6 😁 It's bloody brilliant, I loved it. I will be purchasing on release day for sure.

I was watching a guy called JackFrags on YouTube play this and it looks amazing. The destruction really adds to the emersion, it was chaos, and I'm all for that. Can't wait to play this.

This is great news. I've always thought this looked fun to play. Also would be a big bonus if it came straight to Game Pass too fingers crossed

@Kaloudz Sadly, a part of me believes they did. The hopeful side of me believes they must keep check of it and the servers, and saw the recent spike in players... 🤔

I downloaded Control Ultimate Edition last week and put in around 5 hours so far, great game. But I just chilled out with Stardew Valley for most of the weekend, and Easy Come, Easy Golf on the Switch.

I get the feeling that BOPS7 will be pretty much of the same as BOPS6, and I'm burnt out with that now.

Battlefield is definitely a game I want and know I will put many hours into. I'm holding out on any pre-order for sure, and a day one purchase, but I'm seriously hoping that it releases in a good state and get's great reviews.

I really hope it looks and plays how it's shown in those videos, because it looks insanely good.

This will be the first full priced game I have bought in a long time. I won't be buying day 1... I still would like to see what reviews and the players are saying, then I'll just dive right in.

@TryToBeHopeful Not been ID'd for a long while... 😁, but one day, only one proof of ID will be accepted.

One day we will all need to carry ID/Smart Cards to prove who we are, and these cards will be needed for this reason. Shops will require them if buying age restricted items, age restricted accounts online will require them... it will happen.

I'm worn out with the current Black Ops now, and like most, not a big fan of the silly skins.
I am how-ever, a big fan of the Battlefield series, so it's difficult to control my excitement for this one... can't wait!

@TheOldHunter4K It's the reason I stopped playing the game. I spent too many matches running around calling for the ball in a good position to not receiving the ball.... a waste of my gaming time.

I just can't justify paying these prices for computer games anymore, especially if I know the game is only going to last around 30-40 hours of gameplay. How-ever, the Battlefield games do get great support and DLC over their lifetime, and looking at the release history, they tend to run for a couple of years before a new release. So I do think the cost for this type of game would be worth my hard earned cash.

I love Antstream Arcade. They have a lot of classic SHMUPS on there. R-Type, Dragon Blaze, Gunbird, Strikers 1945, the list goes on. Also, 'back in the day', online leaderboards weren't available, so being able to compare your scores now with the world is exciting. Now we have Retro Classics, it's nostalgia heaven 😁

Brotato... 😁 Love this type of game. You don't need to think much, just level up and GO!
Also, Rush Rally Origins, bought it for £3.49, it's got the Arcade vibe about it, but the handling and challenge just feels like a AAA rally game.

@Lrapsody I do agree with you. I enjoy Multiplayer, but some of the skins are ridiculous. Also, could they just not wait another year? I'm not quite ready for another one yet, I'm still working my way through the Prestiges on Multiplayer.
I prey Battlefield isn't to far behind.

I just bought a game called Rush Rally Origins... £3.59, was £11.99. Great little game too...

I am enjoying it, it is fun. However, The career does get "samey" after a while. The maps look great and are fun to skate around, but the goals are pretty much the same for each map. Get high scores, find the hidden tape, collect SKATE etc. However, HAWK in multiplayer is great fun and I enjoy trying to improve my highscores for the leaderboards... but jeez, how on earth did some players get into the 100 million?? 🤔

I'm really enjoying Against The Storm, so been playing that along with Tony Hawk.

Last time I played this game, the Hot Wheels DLC had just released. (quick search was 2022). I really enjoyed it too, might revisit the game.

I seem to remember playing Destiny 1 when it was first released, but don't think I completed it to be honest. Destiny 2 I have never played, I'm also not familiar with this 'VAULTING' controversy... 🤔

It does sound basic, but I do like this sort of genre. I'll definitely give a try. I want to make loads of money and keep all my residents happy 😁

I'll try them all for sure, especially Tony Hawk. When I saw Minami Lane, it instantly reminded me of a game called Hillsea Lido back on the Amiga. That was a one lane management sim also, quite addictive too.

I'd never seen or heard of Against The Storm till last night, but decided to give it a go.... Well! I absolutely loved it. I couldn't stop playing, it literally hooked me.

I'd like to play this at some point, maybe now is a good time, seems like a great update.

I was really looking forward to this game just because of it's Rocket League similarities. How-ever, I have played many games, but most of them games I have simply spent running around getting into position, asking for the ball, only to be completely ignored, simply because most players just want the ball to run with and score. It's great if your team wins, but I find my self getting bored quickly.

I played quite a bit of Crash Bandicoot 4 and really enjoyed it, so much fun.

I played a few games over the weekend and it does take quite a bit of getting used to. Some games I enjoyed, but other games just frustrating. Asking for the ball and getting yourself in a great position, but being completely ignored. Team mates slide tackle for the ball just as you are about to run onto it, makes no sense.
I'll keep playing every-now and again, but my patience might wear a bit thin.

Hah! Strangely enough, this is exactly what I imagined when I first saw the game. Rocket league is no different sometimes, some gamers just need to be the hero and are incredibly selfish about it by keeping hold of the ball just to get the goal.
I think the only way around this is to introduce a time limit for how long you can keep hold of the ball... a bit like how the goalkeeper in a real game of football has so many seconds before passing out the ball.

Yeah, super excited for this. I don't often get to try Betas, so will definitely give this a go.

Of course, Playstation users finally get to see what they been missing out on all those years... 😛😁
