@Kaloudz Oh god yes, I remember. I think this is why I have a lot of patience with gaming. I had an Amstrad CPC464 and the games were on cassette. Ikari Warriors use to take about 20 mins to load and occasionally crash right before it loaded in... 😫

It is a tech demo, so we could still be a year or two away from actual release.

When I think of Retro, I think of PAC-MAN, Out Run, Manic Miner and the likes.. 🤣

I played some more Division 2. I've been playing that game on and off since it released back in 2019, and I still find new weapons and upgrades to use... and the constant updates and support have been amazing. I also played some Battlefront 2 multiplayer, it's so much fun.

@mcyr1984 I already own the game, so I haven't experienced that.

Ahhh! Here we go... Division 2 hits GamePass... I'm now eagerly awaiting Division 3 news then 😁
I absolutely love this game. I have put so many hours into it. It's one of the best looking games in a long time also, in my opinion of course 😜

@Ricky-Spanish I agree. It was my first experience with an XBOX and I had an amazing time with it. I loved the Live Arcade. I remember they released a new game every Wednesday. I also remember downloading Geometry Wars 2 and being automatically entered into a prize draw where I won a 12 month XBOX Live Gold subscription... those where great times.

Being a huge Star Wars fan, I was addicted to this game when it first launched, even through all the controversy of the loot boxes. I still play regular and always manage to get into a game.
It's an amazing experience online, they really nailed the look and feel of the Star Wars battles.

I downloaded some 360 games at the weekend. Boom Boom Rocket and 😁..."wait for it!"... Every Extend Extra Extreme 🤣
They were released 18 years ago now, and I was a big fan of these back in the day. I was also surprised how much I still enjoyed them now, especially Every Extend, it's a bonkers game 😁🎵😎

I managed to try a few games last night and loved it, but then it is right up my street. I only have a 350mb connection and it worked great in my opinion, there was no noticeable lag or delay.
Antstream add new games every week, so I hope this does the same.

I'm a big fan of Antstream, so I'll definitely be playing this.

@dreadful To be honest, I haven't watched RoboCop 2 for a long time, probably from when it was released, so it's a little vague. How-ever, RoboCop 1 has stayed with me since the beginning.

Played a couple of hours last night and loved it. I'm a big fan of the "original" movie, so it was great being Robocop, doing Robocop stuff 🤣🤣

WOW! Robocop Alex Murphy Edition was £59.99... now £5.99. Already purchased and downloading as I type. I couldn't miss out on that.

Must admit, when I saw this in the list of upcoming releases, I was quite intrigued. Now I'm really looking forward to it 😁

I love my racers, but when I first played this on release, it just didn't keep me coming back for some reason. I think I'll jump back in at some point though.

I can't afford to be paying full price these days for games, so Game Pass has been a blessing for me. I currently have 20 games installed on my Series S and only 1 of them was purchased from the store which was Cyberpunk 2077, and that only cost me £16, heavily discounted with MS Points 😁, all the others are Game Pass.

Nice, I do like my motorsport games, so will put these on my radar.

Towerborne looks interesting, I read a review for it and it sounds like a fun roguelike game, so I'll give that a go.

I've only played around 3-4 hours so far pre the update, but it looks great and plays fine.

Was out in the garden for most of the weekend doing some jobs, weather was great 😎... football was great 🎵🍺😜
Anyway, I did manage to squeeze in a couple of hours with Oblivion, which I'm really enjoying. What I do really like about Oblivion, is how the map and scenery lures you in to explore. I've swayed so many times from the main quest, simply because I've spotted a derelict building in the distance, or cave entrance. It has a great atmosphere too, love it.

@Bmartin001 A standalone title that follows on from the original does sound like a sequel 👍

Ohh! Hopefully we'll see Rogue City on Gamepass before the new one releases... 😁

I started playing last night on my Series S for a couple of hours and really enjoyed what I played. The performance seems decent enough. I do get bored quite easily with these type of games, but the landscape is just brilliant and quite breathtaking at times too, so it makes you feel like you should explore, and I did some of that. I came across ruins and caves with hidden treasures and monsters 😖 So yeah, I think I'm going to enjoy my time with this one.

When's this out? Tomorrow? Damn! I only just downloaded Oblivion 😫

I'm really looking forward to jumping into this later... 😊

A game I've seen and heard lots about, but never played... I tend to get bored quickly with large open world games, but I feel compelled to see what all the hype is about with this one.

I know nothing about game programming, but is there a chance that the original had certain files compressed, to fit onto the disc at the time, but now it's digital, it doesn't need compressing?

I've had my XBOX for just over 2 half years now with Gamepass and it's been more than worth it. I love looking through the catalogue of games and downloading a random game to play, there's always something.

I'm going to return to GTA, you can have so much fun with those games. I did play GTA V on my PS4 a long time back now, but I don't think I really completed it.

I'm not against people having fun, but there's a time and a place for this kind of chaos. Crikey, I can't stand listening to people eat and whisper in the cinema when I'm trying to watch a film I just paid for 😁 so yeah, that would do my head in.

I started to play this at the weekend, but unfortunately it's one of those games that gives me nausea from the screen movement. Seems like an interesting game, but I just can't get past more than 10-15 mins at a time.

Anyway, Football crossed with Rocket league sounds too much fun.

Had a bit of a DIY weekend, so not played that much. I started playing Atomfall on Sunday, but unfortunately it kept giving me the motion sickness. I'll try again at some point... so I moved onto some Vampire Survivors, then played some Balatro later on the Switch.

@Brigurugi Yes, Crackdown, I loved that game. But Burnout Revenge for me, I played that game A LOT!!! 😁

I'm a bit of a recluse when it comes to my game time, so the new chat and camera feature doesn't appeal to me at all. I also use my Switch in handheld 100% of the time for the games I play, so the JoyCon/Mouse gimmick I don't see myself using.

To be honest, I don't really play any premium games on it either, so upgrading feels pointless. Also, I'm not ashamed to say, the cost is just too much at the moment and I can't justify paying those prices for games.

Now, I completely understand that a lot of work and production goes into making games these days, but I won't pay premium price for a game I would knowingly only play till completion for 20-30 hours.
I'd quite happily pay a premium price if I thought I'd be playing the game for the foreseeable future and it was regularly updated with new content.

🤣 People do complain about the weirdest things in my opinion. Is it really a big deal? It's two buttons... I mean, you have to turn on the TV first to watch a programme... You have to start a car engine before you can drive it... and so on.

Loving the look of Sociable Soccer, it's got a proper arcade vibe about it.

I won't be upgrading anytime soon, and to be honest, nothing in the showcase made me feel like I'd be missing out, other than not playing MarioKart World... but hey! I'll survive I think. Also, those game prices are just down right extortionate.

Ahhh! This might be why I couldn't play Geometry Wars 2 the other day, it just kept saying "Something went wrong, try again later."
