Helldivers 2 is coming to Xbox Series X|S in exactly two weeks' time, and to celebrate, the team at Arrowhead has put together the Xbox's version official launch trailer - containing a little tease relating to Team Green's most famous franchise.
Yep, we've chucked this 'Bring the Boom' trailer up above for you to feast your eyes on, as usual. The clip spends the majority of its short runtime showcasing all the co-op shenanigans you'll be getting up to in Helldivers 2 - before taking the time to drop a very short Halo: ODST tease at the end there.
"Now recruiting: fearless soldiers to save the galaxy from freedom-hating fiends. Enlist in the Helldivers and lead your allies on heroic campaigns against diabolical alien foes as the award-winning online team shooter comes to Xbox consoles."
What this actually means for the Xbox launch isn't known yet, with the team only dropping this short teaser so far. Will we get some ODST-themed maps? Will this be some big crossover event that goes further than that? Perhaps curiously... will this event also be on PlayStation? At this point, most probably!
Anyway, Helldivers 2 lands to spread democracy onto Xbox on August 26th, 2025 - marking the very-first PlayStation published title to come to Xbox. Funnily enough, that's the exact same day that Gears of War: Reloaded goes the opposite direction - making its own PS5 debut later on this month.
