About two and a half months ago, Ubisoft's The Division 2 made its Xbox Game Pass debut a good few years after the title's initial release, and the company has just started teasing a major update that's coming to its co-op action game.
As part of a short clip talking about what the team has planned for Gamescom 2025, a 'Big Division 2 Project' has been teased by Ubisoft, with more details to be revealed during a panel at next week's gaming convention. We'll chuck a link to the video down below:
Alongside this mystery Division 2 project, the team will talk more about The Division: Resurgence next week as well; its upcoming mobile spin-off to the Tom Clancy series. Here's a transcript of what's been said about these two projects heading into Gamescom:
"Hey everyone, we're excited to share that The Division 2 will be at Gamescom this year, with two panels and two meet-and-greets."
"In our second panel, we'll talk about how your feedback is shaping The Division 2, share some updates about The Division: Resurgence and reveal more about a big Division 2 project.
We've only just started teasing it, but we're really excited to give you an update."
Ubisoft says these panels will be livestreamed so that folks at home can get all the updates as they happen - but it hasn't revealed those timings just yet. "More details and exact timings coming soon", the team signed off with.
