Hi there fellow gamers. Big Fan of the franchise and I´m really glad that Crystal Dynamics are actually doing this survey. I do wish for a proper sequel over a remaster, though a remake could be nice. This is kinda tricky for newcomers to the series, sice there is a LOT of story and lore between all games, but I still would very much for them to actually finish and conclude the story. LoK: Defiance was not the "real" ending. There is much more to tell, wich is why CD would need to either get Amy Henning´s notes or better yet, get Amy Henning herself to write the story. Nevertheless, this is still very good news for LoK fans. Really hope they can actually gather enough feedback and bring this beloved and great series back. Cheers, stay safe everyone and all the best
Hi there fellow gamers.
Still enjoying my new Xbox Series X very much, even though I´m playing old games in it. And FH5. The game´s beautiful and fun.
Having already finished replaying the first three Gears of War games, those games are as good as I remember, I´ve decided to take the plunge and dive into the Halo games for the first time with the Halo Master Chief Collection.
I´m at the end of Halo CE and will probably be playing Halo 2 throughout the weekend.
So far, the best thing I can say is that the combat feels great.
The game also has some difficulty spikes, or maybe I´m just not that good at playing Halo yet. But I´m in for the long haul.
Will also be playing more Horizon Forbidden West on my PS5 and Triangle Strategy on my Switch. Great time to be a gamer.
Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming weekend to us all
Hi there fellow gamers. Since I got my own Xbox Series X last weekend, I´ve been replaying the Gears of War games and I´m on the last chapters of Gears 2 and will probably start Gears 3 either today or tomorrow. I´ve missed playing this series and now I can finally play Gears 4 and 5. Might also dable in some DnF Duel matches and more Horizon Forbidden West quests on my PS5. Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming weekend to us all
Hi there fellow gamers. Didn´t even remember they announced this, so thanks for the reminder. As for the Remake itself, all I want is better controls, stealth as the main path (with Ghost, Panther and assault as different ways to play the game), a compeling spy narrative and last, but not least, Michael Ironside to interpret is role once again. Just like David Hayter is THE voice of Solid Snake, Michael Ironside is THE voice of Sam Fisher. Hopefully they make a really good Splinter Cell game. Cheers, stay safe everyone and all the best
@Baler Hey there friend. Ok. I´ll give it a try. I only played halo 2 on my OG Xbox, but I didn´t like FPS games back in the day, so I never gave it to much thought. But now, I´m kinda curious with the whole franchise. Thanks. Cheers, stay safe and have a good one
Hi there fellow gamers.
So I went groceries shopping in this morning and saw something I never saw before: a Xbox Series X. Being a fan of console systems myself, already own a PS5 and a Switch, I felt very tempted. And since the store also had a bunch of games on sale..... Well.....
I gave in and bought my own Xbox Series X with Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite. And got Gamepass for 1€ on the first month.
Wich means I´m all about my Series X this weekend.
And now I am a proud owner of all the 3 main console systems.
Have installed FH5 and quite a few gamepass games already.
But the first game I´m playing has to be Gears of War Ultimate.
Love the Gears franchise, so I´ll be replaying Gears 2 and 3 and I can finally play Gears 4 and 5.
Question to all if I may: Should I play the Master Chief Collection or just watch a video for the story before playing Halo Infinite?
Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming weekend to us all
@EvenStephen7 @Eleventy8 Hi there friends. Have to agree with you on that. Test Drive Unlimited was something quite special at the time. One of the few titles that I got the full achievements on my Xbox 360. The idea of having a full island of Oahu to race and explore, creating and customizing your avatar, doing errands like driving people to certain locations, kinda like Crazy Taxi in a way and the very first online comunity racing game as well. And the best part, just like PGR4 you cpuld drive both cars and bikes. It was great. Cheers, stay safe and have a good one both of you
Hi there fellow gamers, Of all the different options, I had to go for PGR series. Still remember playing PGR2 on my OG Xbox while listening to songs from my favourite band Linkin Park, because the system would allow to play our CDs. It was one of the coolest features of the OG Xbox, wich I also used on my 360 as well when I got it at launch with PGR3, Kameo: Elements of nature and Perfect Dark Zero. The I got PGR4 and it was by far one of my most played racing games, just like GT3 on my PS2 and Metropolis Street Racing on my Sega Dreamcast. The good old days. Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming weekend to us all
@MarkD01 Hi there friend. I know exactely what you mean. It´s been awhile since a game as consumed me this much. Even after finishing it, I till want to play more of it. Try different builds (only tried 3), play some co-op with friends and do some Pvp. As for doing it all over again..... Maybe after I finished a few more games. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy your week
@Chaudy @Kooky_Daisuke Hi there friends. Loved both Binary Domain (underrated gem imo) on Xbox 360 and Jade Empire on my OG Xbox. Would love a sequel to both of those games. Better Call Saul is such a good show. The ending of the third season was brilliant and sad at the same time. Gotta watch the rest when I can. Cheers, stay safe you tow and have a good one
Hi there fellow gamers, After more than 200 hours of playing, helping people defeat Bosses, finishing and Platinum the jurggernaut of a game that is Elden Ring, I´m now ready for something else. So this weekend I´ll be playing the following games:
Forza Horizon 4. Love to just drive around in that game;
Soul Calibur VI. Creating and watching charaters creations;
Horizon Forbidden West. Another open world action rpg that is going to take many hours to finish...... And that is good;
And more Mass Effect Andromeda with mods. Cheers, saty safe, stay well and happy gaming weekend to us all
@The-Grezzly-Bear Hi there friend and congrats on getting a Series S. As for game recomendations I would go with:
The Gears of War games. One of the best third person shooter franchise out there;
The Yakuza series. One of the wacky, dramatic, over the top and emotional gaming series out there. I don´t think you can go wrong with those games. Cheers, stay safe and have a good one
@Microbius Hi there friend.
I keep closing it, but it keeps opening.... Rocket should really fix that thing pronto. Maybe if I treathen him with a nice, long, warm bath..... That ought to work 😜
The game is fantastic. It´s becoming my second GOTY.
Cheers, stay safe and have a good one
Hi there fellow gamers. This weekend I´ll be continuing my Guardians of The Galaxy playtrough on PS5, wich I´m loving it by the way. The banter between the characters is so good. Give those who wrote them a raise, cause they deserve it. And the voice actors as well. Maybe do some online matches in Guilty Gear and try to get my Celestial spot (more getting my ass kicked 😜). Happy Chaos in the right hands can mix anyone. It´s crazy. As for new games, Forza Horizon 4 on PC. I got the ultimate edition on steam for 35€ and I´m enjoying my time in FH UK version. I have so many cars available right from the start, that I just keep trying one after the other. And downloading some great designs for the cars by the Forza comunity. And Chorus on PC as well. Had my eye on it form the very first trailer. Wil see how good the controls and combat feels. Cheers, stay safe good people and happy gaming weekend to us all
Hi there fellow gamers. Definitely Mass Effect Legendary Edition, for sure. The Mass Effect trilogy is a Timeless Gem and will always be apreciated for it´s characters, world building, sci-fi setting and story driven narrative. And the cool power combinations. That said, I´m quite curious with It takes Two. Seems like a good game to play with your significant one. Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming to us all
Hi there fellow gamers. Maybe it´s because I haven´t played the game that much, but the dialogue, although not exactely great, doesn´t bother me that much. I should also say it´s my first FH game, so there is that. But from what I could tell, it´s like these characters live in a world without any kind of bad and terrible things. They live in a fantasy world. It´s not realistic in that regard, but I wouldn´t mind living there for awhile to get way from all the negativity in the real world. Hey! I kinda can. Every time I play it. So I´ll do just that. And I feel you @SplooshDmg. I used to call myself realistic, then discovered I was more of a pessimist. No more and no longer. Positive thoughts and good energy all the way. Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming to us all
Hi there fellow gamers @SplooshDmg @InterceptorAlpha @LX_FENIX The entire Gears of War games and Binary Domain in sweet 60 fps? That is awesome. Some of the best TPS games out there in my opinion. Gears of War 3 is my favourite of the franchise and Binary Domain was a really good surprise. Really good news for Xbox Series X/S. Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming to us all
Hi there fellow gamers. Best Xbox gen? In my opinion, it has to be Xbox 360. So many bangers came out on that system, and to this day, are still very much acclaimed, even if not by many people. Games like the Mass Effect trilogy, the Gears of War games, Lost Odissey, Alan Wake, Dead or Alive 4, Magna Carta 2, Lost Planet, Forza Motorsport (in my case FM4, fantastic game), Ninja Gaiden 2, Test Drive Unlimited, Project Gotham Racing 3 and 4, just to name some of my personal favourites. It was also backwards compatible with certain OG Xbox games, like Blinx and Ninja Gaiden, both I played way to many times. A truly great gaming gen for Xbox. Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming to us all
Hi there fellow gamers. After finally finishing the great Tales of Arise, I´ve decided to go back to another great game called Rachet and Clank Rift Apart, PS5 exclusive extraordinaire. I really enjoyed my time with ToA. My favourite Tales of cast of all of them and that is saying something. Also the ending was nice. Just wish the "main antagonist" was more interesting. But that´s just me personaly. Overall, one of the Best JRPGs. Fully recomend to rpg fans. So this weekend is going to be RC Rift Apart on PS5, maybe some GG Strive online and Forza Horizon 5 on PC. Man, the intro alone sold me completely. Kudos to Playground Games. You made a beautiful and super fun game to just fool around and enjoy. Fable next 😉 Oh, and for those lucky few who got access to the Elden Ring Network Test, enjoy it. From the videos I´ve seen, the full game is going to be so much fun. Especialy a magic build. Can´t wait. Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming weekend to us all
Hi there fellow gamers. From this list, it has to be Mass Effect Legendary Edition. The others are Returnal and Rachet and Clank: Rift Apart on PS5. A amazing sci-fi, space opera trilogy, a awesome arcade, sci-fi third person shooter and a beautiful, sci-fi action platformer. As a sci-fi, space fan, it has been a pure bliss, gaming wise. After finishing the ME trilogy for the seventh time (3 on Xbox 360, 3 on PS3 and one on PS5) I decided to go for a second run at ME Andromeda on PC. Love the ME franchise way to much 😜 Actualy enjoyed Outriders, both solo and co-op with a friend. Scarlet Nexus might be interesting down the line. Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming to us all
Hi there fellow gamers. What an incredible pixel art game. Love 2D and Cyberpunk, sci-fi games. This and Forza Horizon 5 were the big highlights for me. Can´t wait to see more of this. Looks phenomenal. Cheers, stay safe folks and happy gaming to us all
Hi there fellow gamers. By far, the most amazing racing game I have ever seen. Kudos for Playgroung games for making me really wanting to get an Xbox, since this game is a Xbox console exclusive. What a fantastic showcase of a game. Cheers, stay safe folks and happy gaming to us all
@themightyant Hi there friend. Guess you and I think alike. First I got the game on my PC, then on my PS4 and finally on my Switch. But I only finished 112% completion on my PC. Those Pantheon trials are something else. But I loved finding the secret hidden Boss in there. Team Cherry are geniuses I say. It´s really great that we have games like Hollow Knight, the Ori games and the Guacamelee games to gaves us that awesome Metroidvania style of games that I enjoy so much. Cheers, stay safe and all the best
Hi there fellow gamers. Hollow Knight, is by far, THE BEST Metroidvania game I have ever played after SOTK and Super Metroid. The art, the vibe, the beautiful environments, the amazing level design, the story and mistery for the players to find, the awesome Boss encounters, the precise and satisfying gameplay mechanics and the Music, the GOD Tier Music elevates this game so much that I cannot give this game less than a 10/10. It is a Masterpiece in my humble oppinion. Great article Daniel. Keep it up. Cheers, stay safe, stay well and happy gaming to us all
@BuddyDog7601 Hi there friend. Yeah, Blinx is great. It would be nice that some of these IPs could come back. Kinda like Perfect Dark and Fable. Excited for those and the other new stuff. Cheers, stay safe and have a good one
Hi there fellow gamers. Is it a Conkers spinoff? Or maybe Blinx? As for the new IPs, color me interested. Excited to see what these studios will bring to the table. Cheers, stay safe folks and happy gaming to us all
Hi there fellow gamers. this is a 10/10 for me. The gameplay, the writing, the characters, the story, the puzzles and the super fun co-op makes this game kinda perfect. I still listen from time to time to Cave Johnsons blabering about lemons 😂 My favourite part of the game. That and space. space, space 😜 I gets me every time I hear it. And you are absolutely right Fraser, it´s time for Portal 3. Cheers, stay safe good people and happy gaming to us all
Hi there fellow gamers. My favourite Ninja Gaiden game is NG Black on the original Xbox. I have played that game so many times on both my OG Xbox and my 360 trough backwards capability. Funy story(maybe not so funny), my original version of Ninja Gaiden would break and not load the Alma Boss fight. it ran fine until then. I could only see the cutscene and then..... nothing at all. Fortunately I was able to get a new one that worked. Even the game feared Alma 😜 Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all
@CrazyJF Hi there friend. i agree that the 360 was the best Xbox system, in my oppinion. So many great unique exclusive games and franchises that began there. Gears of War 3 campaign was so good, Forza Motorsport 4 blew me away with the Autovista mode, Lost Odissey was the "Final Fantasy" game that I wanted to play(even though I actualy like Final Fantasy XIII a lot on my PS3), Magna Carta 2 as well and the whole Mass Effect trilogy that still holds a very special place. Like I said, amazing system with awesome games to play. Cheers, stay safe and have a good one
Hi there fellow gamers. It was Xbox 360 in my case, alongside Project Gotham Racing 3, Dead or Alive 4 and Test Drive Unlimited as the first games that realy got me hooked. Then came Ninja Gaiden 2, Gears of War, Alan Wake, Lost Odissey and the amazing Mass Effect. Could not be more happy with my purchase. That system was awesome. Some great memories from it. Cheers, stay safe out there and happy gaming valentines day for us all
Hi there fellow gamers. You scored 14 out of 15. 11-15: You're awesome! Why thank you 😜 Some really awesome games coming for the system. I´m excited for Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, Fable and Everwild as well as Perfect Dark. Big hopes for these games. Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all
@NEStalgia Hi and thanks for the reply. Even though I am a fan of many different kind of videogames I do tend to like certain games more often. And I personaly have really enjoyed the kind of games Sony Playstation has made, and Microsoft for that matter, for quite some time and even more in recent years. Why? Because I love single player story driven games the most. You think they are movie games and if you don´t like that, it´s fine. It is your oppinion. But the same way I like Games like Bloodborne, Ni-Oh 2, Forza Motorsport, Super Mario Odissey and Doom I also love games like God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Spiderman, Gears of War 5 and The Last of Us part 2. Story driven games, with amazing Visuals and Art style and awesome Gameplay mechanics. No gimmicks whatsoever. For me, my oppinion, Sony, Microsoft and even Nintendo have both changed and evolved over the years. Nintendo have decided to go on a different route than Sony and Microsoft ever since the N64 and even more with the Wii. Nintendo likes to do things different and that´s okay. The other two are more graphical powerhouses but also have little things that differentiate them from each other. And again, that is okay to. Variety is a good thing to have. Cheers, stay safe and have a good one
@NEStalgia Hi there friend. You know, it still baffles me that some individuals believe that "only one true" videogame company actualy matters and the others don´t. The same way some people say that this company "only makes" this kind of games or that kind of games. Surely you must like when some people say that Nintendo "only makes" kids games. I´m guessing not so much. The reality is, ALL videogame companies make different and great games that a lot of different people enjoy, with different tastes. ALL games are fun. 3D Platformers, Racing games(simulation and arcade), First Person Shooters, Action Adventure games, Puzzle games, Third Person Shooter games, Role Playing games, so on and so forth. Even if someone does not like or enjoy a type of game, that does not mean it is a bad game, or that it is not a game. Because just like the sentence "Nintendo only makes kids games" is false, so it is that certain companies only makes "movies with directional inputs". And yes, I can imagine Nintendo laughing their butts off while hearing the Microsoft proposal. It must have been hilarious, surely. Cheers, stay safe out there and happy gaming to us all
Hi there fellow gamers. Uncle Phill is saying something that has been said before by many people, including myself. "Console Wars" is one thing. Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo, as console manufacturers, should always compete between themselves in order for us, the customers, see their platforms improve and giving us the best gaming experiences they possible can. "Fanboy Wars" on another is entirely different. It is negative on so many levels that makes a fun and interesting conversation or debate with someoneto become a toxic and offensive dialogue that benefits no one. We are gamers that love gaming. That´s it. We have our own preferences and guess what? It is perfectly fine to have them. May we start to see a positive difference in the gaming universe that I enjoy so much. Cheers, stay safe and happy next gen gaming to us all
Hi there fellow gamers. I got my Xbox 360 day one with Perfect dark Zero, Kameo: Elements of Power and Project Gotham Racing 3. I enjoyed the first two games, but it was PGR3 alonside with Test Drive Unlimited loved the most. Two of the best racing games I´ve played. Then Dead or Alive 4, Ninja Gaiden 2(man those games were hardcore and awesome). Playing the brand new IPs Lost Planet, Gears of War, Mass Effect and Bioshock was some of the best memories that I have from my 360, wich in my oppinion, was the best Xbox and one of my favourite consoles. Happy 15th Anniversary Xbox 360. You were fantastic. Cheers, stay safe and happy next gen gaming to us all
Hi there fellow gamers. I have really fond memories when I got mine. I had some money saved already, but it wasn´t enough. Then on my birthday, my Uncle and grandparents gave me more money than I needed, wich meant I could get some more games. Naturally, I was overjoyed. Ran as fast as I could to the first store and got my OG Xbox special Halo2 two controllers eddition, with Fable and Project Gotham Racing 2 on discs only and grabed Shenmue 2 as well. Then went to another store to get Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive 3. Got home, showed to my family and installed the system in our living room as they watched me play PGR and DOA, first games I played on the system. A really good old memory that I have when most of my family members were still in this earth. Hope everyone has a lot of fun with their brand new gaming system, whatever it is. Great article PureXbox @FraserG. Keep up the good work. Cheers, stay safe out there and happy gaming to us all
Hi there fellow gamers. Happy Xbox Series X/S day! Hope everyone gets their console in time and enjoy it to the fullest. ACV looks pretty fun, even more if you are a viking fan. I´m very excited to get my next gen system on November 19 (PS5 for me). These are exciting times with brand new and powerfull gaming systems, that will indeed, power the devs dreams and our own dreams as well. Can´t wait to see what Microsoft games studios will create for this beast of a machine. Cheers, stay safe out there good people and happy next gen gaming to us all
Hi there fellow gamers. The first Gears of War was great. I still remenber playing the game in my old standard-definition 60hz tv with composite AV cables and being wowed by it. Then I got my very first HD tv...... I couldn´t belive my eyes. All the details in Marcus Fenix armour as well as the textures and minor details from the enemies and the environment that I just couldn´t see before. Mind blowing at the time. Great series and my personal favourite Xbox franchise. GOW3 is still one of the best tps ou there in my oppinion. Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all
@FraserG Hi there fellow gamers.
Wow....... This is a though one.
All three games are awesome in their own right.....
I´m gonna cheat and say all three of them.
Never have I experienced a gaming saga quite like this one.
MGS(1-4) and ME trilogy will always be my number one favourite sagas of all time.
But if I really have to pick just one, I have to pick the first.
Nothing is going to beat getting my limited edtion Xbox 360 version from my local store with some friends and watching that sweet intro into the ME universe with the iconic score in the background....... Really good and fond memories from this article.
Thank you Fraser for reminding me of this.
Cheers, stay safe out there people and happy gaming to us all
Hi there fellow gamers. I do have to agree with @Dezzy70 in terms of 343 being stretched thin by making a new semi-open world Halo that´s supposed to be the flagship of "the most powerful console", when in reality, it was probably developed with the Xbox One in mind. Because it does not look like it is made for the Series X or that it should be. Even though I´m not a Halo fan I wanted Infinite to blew me away since I love sci-fi so much. It didn´t. Not for me at least Let´s hope the studio, who is taking criticism in a very positive way mind you, can still make an awesome game for the fans who have been eagerly waiting for Master Chief to make a return, and for new ones who love the space/alien setting. Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all
@Jslade Hi there friend. Crazy indeed. With games like Alan Wake, Magna Carta 2, the Mass Effect trilogy, Lost Odissey, Bioshock, the Gears trilogy. All great games that made the 360 a really good gaming system. I remenber being excited and watching all the trailers for the new games.... I still have all my limited editions of Alan wake and the Mass Effect trilogy. And Bioshock made me enjoy first person shooters. Love that game and Bioshock Infinite. Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all
@Grot Hi there friend. Those are some worrisome news indeed. Uematsu-san composings are phenomenal. Hope he is able to recover well. Best wishes. Cheers, stay safe and have a good one
Hi there fellow gamers. The Ori franchise is great. loved The blind Forest and currently enjoying Will of the Wisps. It´s not so easy to make a good RPG, but I have faith in Moon Studios. Take your time and make something awesome. Cheers, saty safe and happy gaming to us all
@Jaxx420 Hi there friend. If somehow Microsoft anounces Lost Odissey 2 with Sakaguchi-san at the helm and Uematsu-san as the leading composer, I´m gonna lose my mind. Absolutely love Lost Odissey. One of my favourites of all time. Man the 360 was an awesome system. Cheers, saty safe and happy gaming to us all
Hi there fellow gamers. You scored 15 out of 15. 11-15: You're awesome! Thanks for reminding me of that 😉 Jokes aside, I really do enjoy this type of quizzes. And some of these games are quite nice. Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all
@themightyant Hi there friend. You are absolutely right about Cyberpunk 2077. CD Projekt Red did say that their game won´t be on GP. As for ACV and WD they probably will, if not for certain deals that ubisoft have with Microsoft. Cheers and have a good one
Hi there fellow gamers. The Xbox games showcase didn´t conviced me to buy a Xbox Series X(very weird naming convention if you ask me), but it did convince me to signing up and get Game Pass on PC.
In my country, Portugal, I can get GP on PC for 1€ on the first month and 3.99€ for the next months. It is almost a steal. So much value per money. I have no idea how Microsoft can sustain such a thing and how much money the developers actualy get for their work and projects, but man it is super consumer friendly.
That means I will be able to play games like Gears 4 and 5, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin´s Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs Legion for 1€ on November. Ridiculous good. Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all
Hi there fellow gamers. My vote goes to Everwild, with Fable a close second. I can´t say it enough times, but Everwild looks gorgeous. Love that art style so much. As for Fable, being made by Playground games makes me excited for what they will be able to do with this franchise that has been dormant for far to long. They already got the humour right. Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all
Hi there fellow gamers. For me the two games that really got me were Everwild and The Medium. The first was gorgeous to watch, like a interactive cartoon. And the second with the Sillent Hill vibe and the dual reality gameplay mechanic? Plus Akira Yamaoka as the composer? Absolutely sold on that one. Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all
Hi there fellow gamers. I gave this event a C plus. It didn´t blew me away, but there were some good points: The presentation was way better than the last one; Lot´s of games were shown, with a good variety. Everwild looks beautiful but there was no gameplay sadly. Were going to have Fable, good people, after so many years without one. And made by Playground. That´s pretty cool. Quite a few others were brand new, The Gunk and As Dusk Falls both look right up my alley, as well as The Medium. Very excited for that one. And some were unexpected sequels like Stalker 2 and Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis anyone?) But nothing wowed me personaly. I´m not a fan of Halo or State of Decay. Forza seems to be way off, no exciting news from Ninja Theory or from The Initiative. They will probably show more later. I think the most unexpected thing that they showed was the campaign for Crossfire X by Remedy of all developers. Count me suprised and curious. All and all, it was okay. Excited for the next one. Keep the games coming Microsoft, that´s what we gamers want the most from you. Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all

Re: 'Legacy Of Kain' Survey Quizzes Fans About Potential Franchise Return
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 1-2)

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 24-25)

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 17-18)
@Baler Hey there friend.
Ok. I´ll give it a try. I only played halo 2 on my OG Xbox, but I didn´t like FPS games back in the day, so I never gave it to much thought. But now, I´m kinda curious with the whole franchise.
Thanks. Cheers, stay safe and have a good one
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 17-18)

Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming weekend to us all
Re: Pick One: What's The Best Racing Series In Xbox History?
@EvenStephen7 @Eleventy8 Hi there friends.
Cheers, stay safe and have a good one both of you
Re: Pick One: What's The Best Racing Series In Xbox History?
Hi there fellow gamers,
Of all the different options, I had to go for PGR series.
Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming weekend to us all
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (May 14-15)
@MarkD01 Hi there friend.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (May 14-15)
@Chaudy @Kooky_Daisuke
Hi there friends.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (May 14-15)
Hi there fellow gamers,
After more than 200 hours of playing, helping people defeat Bosses, finishing and Platinum the jurggernaut of a game that is Elden Ring, I´m now ready for something else.
So this weekend I´ll be playing the following games:
Cheers, saty safe, stay well and happy gaming weekend to us all
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 4-5)
@The-Grezzly-Bear Hi there friend and congrats on getting a Series S. As for game recomendations I would go with:
I don´t think you can go wrong with those games.
Cheers, stay safe and have a good one
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 4-5)
@Microbius Hi there friend.
I keep closing it, but it keeps opening.... Rocket should really fix that thing pronto. Maybe if I treathen him with a nice, long, warm bath..... That ought to work 😜
The game is fantastic. It´s becoming my second GOTY.
Cheers, stay safe and have a good one
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 4-5)
Cheers, stay safe good people and happy gaming weekend to us all
Re: Pick One: Which Of These EA Games From 2021 Has Been Your Favourite?
Hi there fellow gamers.
Definitely Mass Effect Legendary Edition, for sure.
The Mass Effect trilogy is a Timeless Gem and will always be apreciated for it´s characters, world building, sci-fi setting and story driven narrative. And the cool power combinations.
That said, I´m quite curious with It takes Two.
Seems like a good game to play with your significant one.
Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming to us all
Re: Forza Horizon 5 Players Are Finding The Game's Dialogue A Little Grating
Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming to us all
Re: 37 FPS Boosts Added To Backwards Compatible Games On Xbox Series X|S
Hi there fellow gamers @SplooshDmg @InterceptorAlpha @LX_FENIX
The entire Gears of War games and Binary Domain in sweet 60 fps? That is awesome. Some of the best TPS games out there in my opinion. Gears of War 3 is my favourite of the franchise and Binary Domain was a really good surprise.
Really good news for Xbox Series X/S.
Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming to us all
Re: Xbox 20th Anniversary: Which Xbox Generation Has Been The Best?
Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming to us all
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 13-14)
Fable next 😉
Oh, and for those lucky few who got access to the Elden Ring Network Test, enjoy it. From the videos I´ve seen, the full game is going to be so much fun. Especialy a magic build. Can´t wait.
Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming weekend to us all
Re: Talking Point: We're Halfway Through The Year, What's Your Favourite Game So Far?
Love the ME franchise way to much 😜
Actualy enjoyed Outriders, both solo and co-op with a friend.
Scarlet Nexus might be interesting down the line.
Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming to us all
Re: Replaced Is A Retro-Futuristic Platformer Heading To Xbox In 2022
Hi there fellow gamers.
What an incredible pixel art game.
Love 2D and Cyberpunk, sci-fi games.
This and Forza Horizon 5 were the big highlights for me.
Can´t wait to see more of this. Looks phenomenal.
Cheers, stay safe folks and happy gaming to us all
Re: Forza Horizon 5 Brings Its Festival To Mexico On Xbox This November
Hi there fellow gamers.
By far, the most amazing racing game I have ever seen.
Kudos for Playgroung games for making me really wanting to get an Xbox, since this game is a Xbox console exclusive.
What a fantastic showcase of a game.
Cheers, stay safe folks and happy gaming to us all
Re: Game Pass Gems: Help, I’m Stupidly Addicted To Hollow Knight
@themightyant Hi there friend.
Re: Game Pass Gems: Help, I’m Stupidly Addicted To Hollow Knight
Hi there fellow gamers.
Hollow Knight, is by far, THE BEST Metroidvania game I have ever played after SOTK and Super Metroid.
The art, the vibe, the beautiful environments, the amazing level design, the story and mistery for the players to find, the awesome Boss encounters, the precise and satisfying gameplay mechanics and the Music, the GOD Tier Music elevates this game so much that I cannot give this game less than a 10/10.
It is a Masterpiece in my humble oppinion.
Great article Daniel. Keep it up.
Cheers, stay safe, stay well and happy gaming to us all
Re: Rumour: Xbox Game Studios Working On Four New IPs, Including A Spinoff Of An Existing IP
@BuddyDog7601 Hi there friend.
Yeah, Blinx is great.
It would be nice that some of these IPs could come back.
Kinda like Perfect Dark and Fable.
Excited for those and the other new stuff.
Cheers, stay safe and have a good one
Re: Rumour: Xbox Game Studios Working On Four New IPs, Including A Spinoff Of An Existing IP
Hi there fellow gamers.
Is it a Conkers spinoff?
Or maybe Blinx?
As for the new IPs, color me interested.
Excited to see what these studios will bring to the table.
Cheers, stay safe folks and happy gaming to us all
Re: Can You Believe It, Portal 2 Is Now Officially Ten Years Old
Hi there fellow gamers.
this is a 10/10 for me.
The gameplay, the writing, the characters, the story, the puzzles and the super fun co-op makes this game kinda perfect.
I still listen from time to time to Cave Johnsons blabering about lemons 😂 My favourite part of the game.
That and space. space, space 😜
I gets me every time I hear it.
And you are absolutely right Fraser, it´s time for Portal 3.
Cheers, stay safe good people and happy gaming to us all
Re: Pick One: Which Of These Xbox Ninja Gaiden Games Is Your Favourite?
Hi there fellow gamers.
My favourite Ninja Gaiden game is NG Black on the original Xbox.
I have played that game so many times on both my OG Xbox and my 360 trough backwards capability.
Funy story(maybe not so funny), my original version of Ninja Gaiden would break and not load the Alma Boss fight.
it ran fine until then. I could only see the cutscene and then..... nothing at all.
Fortunately I was able to get a new one that worked.
Even the game feared Alma 😜
Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all
Re: Talking Point: Which Xbox Console (& Game) Was Your First Love?
@CrazyJF Hi there friend.
i agree that the 360 was the best Xbox system, in my oppinion.
Re: Talking Point: Which Xbox Console (& Game) Was Your First Love?
Hi there fellow gamers.
It was Xbox 360 in my case, alongside Project Gotham Racing 3, Dead or Alive 4 and Test Drive Unlimited as the first games that realy got me hooked.
Then came Ninja Gaiden 2, Gears of War, Alan Wake,
Lost Odissey and the amazing Mass Effect.
Could not be more happy with my purchase.
That system was awesome. Some great memories from it.
Cheers, stay safe out there and happy gaming valentines day for us all
Re: Can You Guess These Upcoming Xbox Series X Games?
Hi there fellow gamers.
You scored 14 out of 15.
11-15: You're awesome!
Why thank you 😜
Some really awesome games coming for the system.
I´m excited for Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, Fable and Everwild as well as Perfect Dark.
Big hopes for these games.
Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all
Re: Nintendo 'Laughed Their Asses Off' At Xbox Acquisition Attempt In 2000
@NEStalgia Hi and thanks for the reply.
Re: Nintendo 'Laughed Their Asses Off' At Xbox Acquisition Attempt In 2000
@NEStalgia Hi there friend.
You know, it still baffles me that some individuals believe that "only one true" videogame company actualy matters and the
others don´t.
The same way some people say that this company
"only makes" this kind of games or that kind of games.
Cheers, stay safe out there and happy gaming to us all
Re: Xbox Boss Phil Spencer Slams Console War Toxicity, Says Sony Isn't An Enemy
Cheers, stay safe and happy next gen gaming to us all
Re: Feature: Celebrating The 15th Anniversary Of The Xbox 360
Cheers, stay safe and happy next gen gaming to us all
Re: YouTuber Shares Home Video Footage Of The Original Xbox Launch
Cheers, stay safe out there and happy gaming to us all
Re: Happy Xbox Series X|S Launch! Have You Received Yours?
Hi there fellow gamers. Happy Xbox Series X/S day!
Hope everyone gets their console in time and enjoy it to the fullest. ACV looks pretty fun, even more if you are a viking fan.
I´m very excited to get my next gen system on November 19 (PS5 for me).
These are exciting times with brand new and powerfull gaming systems, that will indeed, power the devs dreams and our own dreams as well. Can´t wait to see what Microsoft games studios will create for this beast of a machine.
Cheers, stay safe out there good people and happy next gen gaming to us all
Re: The Original Gears Of War Celebrates Its 14th Anniversary Today
Hi there fellow gamers. The first Gears of War was great.
I still remenber playing the game in my old standard-definition 60hz tv with composite AV cables and being wowed by it.
Then I got my very first HD tv......
I couldn´t belive my eyes. All the details in Marcus Fenix armour as well as the textures and minor details from the enemies and the environment that I just couldn´t see before.
Mind blowing at the time.
Great series and my personal favourite Xbox franchise.
GOW3 is still one of the best tps ou there in my oppinion.
Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all
Re: Pick One: Which Is Your Favourite Mass Effect Game?
@FraserG Hi there fellow gamers.
Cheers, stay safe out there people and happy gaming to us all
Re: 343 Provides Official Statement On Halo Infinite Graphics Concerns
Hi there fellow gamers. I do have to agree with @Dezzy70 in terms of 343 being stretched thin by making a new semi-open world Halo that´s supposed to be the flagship of "the most powerful console", when in reality, it was probably developed with the Xbox One in mind.
Because it does not look like it is made for the Series X or that it should be.
Even though I´m not a Halo fan I wanted Infinite to blew me away since I love sci-fi so much. It didn´t. Not for me at least
Let´s hope the studio, who is taking criticism in a very positive way mind you, can still make an awesome game for the fans who have been eagerly waiting for Master Chief to make a return, and for new ones who love the space/alien setting.
Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all
Re: Microsoft Possibly Hints The Initiative Is Working On Multiple Games
@Jslade Hi there friend. Crazy indeed. With games like Alan Wake, Magna Carta 2, the Mass Effect trilogy, Lost Odissey, Bioshock, the Gears trilogy.
All great games that made the 360 a really good gaming system. I remenber being excited and watching all the trailers for the new games.... I still have all my limited editions of Alan wake and the Mass Effect trilogy. And Bioshock made me enjoy first person shooters. Love that game and Bioshock Infinite. Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all
Re: Microsoft Possibly Hints The Initiative Is Working On Multiple Games
@Grot Hi there friend. Those are some worrisome news indeed. Uematsu-san composings are phenomenal. Hope he is able to recover well. Best wishes. Cheers, stay safe and have a good one
Re: Ori Developer Signs Publishing Deal For New Action-RPG
Hi there fellow gamers. The Ori franchise is great. loved The blind Forest and currently enjoying Will of the Wisps.
It´s not so easy to make a good RPG, but I have faith in Moon Studios. Take your time and make something awesome.
Cheers, saty safe and happy gaming to us all
Re: Microsoft Possibly Hints The Initiative Is Working On Multiple Games
@Jaxx420 Hi there friend. If somehow Microsoft anounces Lost Odissey 2 with Sakaguchi-san at the helm and Uematsu-san as the leading composer, I´m gonna lose my mind. Absolutely love Lost Odissey. One of my favourites of all time. Man the 360 was an awesome system. Cheers, saty safe and happy gaming to us all
Re: Can You Identify All Of These Games From July's Xbox Showcase?
Hi there fellow gamers. You scored 15 out of 15.
11-15: You're awesome! Thanks for reminding me of that 😉
Jokes aside, I really do enjoy this type of quizzes. And some of these games are quite nice. Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all
Re: Poll: What Are Your Thoughts On Xbox Game Pass After July's Show?
@themightyant Hi there friend. You are absolutely right about Cyberpunk 2077. CD Projekt Red did say that their game won´t be on GP. As for ACV and WD they probably will, if not for certain deals that ubisoft have with Microsoft. Cheers and have a good one
Re: Poll: What Are Your Thoughts On Xbox Game Pass After July's Show?
Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all
Re: Pick One: Which Of These Xbox Series X Games Are You Most Excited For?
Hi there fellow gamers. My vote goes to Everwild, with Fable a close second. I can´t say it enough times, but Everwild looks gorgeous. Love that art style so much. As for Fable, being made by Playground games makes me excited for what they will be able to do with this franchise that has been dormant for far to long. They already got the humour right. Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all
Re: Talking Point: What Was Your Favourite Part Of July's Xbox Showcase?
Hi there fellow gamers. For me the two games that really got me were Everwild and The Medium.
The first was gorgeous to watch, like a interactive cartoon. And the second with the Sillent Hill vibe and the dual reality gameplay mechanic? Plus Akira Yamaoka as the composer? Absolutely sold on that one. Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all
Re: Poll: How Would You Grade July's Xbox Games Showcase?
Hi there fellow gamers. I gave this event a C plus. It didn´t blew me away, but there were some good points:
The presentation was way better than the last one;
Lot´s of games were shown, with a good variety.
And some were unexpected sequels like Stalker 2 and Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis anyone?)
But nothing wowed me personaly.
