Hello there fellow gamers.
I give it an 8/10. I thought it was a pretty good first try from former 343 now Halo Studios.
Really enjoyed the visuals, amazing for an 360 game, the characters and narrative.
Gameplay was fine, but not quite there yet.
Bungie kinda nailed it on their first try though.
Not a big multiplayer guy, so can´t say anything about it.
As a for the campaign, very solid entry....... And then they completely fumbled with Halo 5 Guardians. Oh well.

This weekend I´ll continue playing:

• Ghost of Yõtei on my PS5. Such a beautiful game and very fun to explore, just like Tsushima was;
• Donkey Kong Banaza and Ni no Kuni 2 on my Switch 2. The first is a masterclass of a platformer game and just so much fun breaking everything in your path. And the second one looks fantastic on Switch 2 in smooth 60 fps;
• Ghostwire Tokyo and SilkSong on my Series X/PC. Started the first one a couple of days ago and it is pretty interesting. Really like the style of the game. As for Silksong, I´m in Chapter 3, trying to find my way into new areas of the game and facing brand new Bosses. This game is absolutely amazing.

• Death Stranding 2 On The Beach. Someone has to make the roads you all are using to travel all over the continent;
• Donkey Kong Bananza. Probably the most fun and terapeutic game I´ve played in a long time;
• Street Fighter 6. I´m kinda having a love/hate relationship with this game, but I can´t seem to stop playing it. Go figure....

My top three Xbox Series X games of 2025 so far are:

• Clair Obscur Expedition 33;
• Assassin´s Creed Shadows;
• Ninja Gaiden Black.
  Hopefully, the next ones of this year for me will be:
• The Outer Worlds 2;
• Ninja Gaiden 4;
• Wuchang Fallen Feathers.
  And that´s just on Xbox. There´s quite a few others on both my PS5 and Switch 2 as well.
  Lot´s of good games to play all around.

Hello there fellow gamers.
This weekend I´ll be playing the following games:

• Clair Obscur Expedition 33 on my Series X. Continuing the journey to parry everything...... And perfect dodging when I can parry certain atacks. Also trying different builds as well.
  Lune Thunder build and the new party members are awesome;
• Death Stranding 2 on my PS5. It feels just like old times and buisiness as usual, but just better in every single way.
  Who knew I would have such a great time making deliveries. And what a gorgeous game this one is. Decima Engine is the goat. And running at 60 fps is such a very smooth experience;
• Super Mario Odissey and Mario Kart World on my Switch 2.
  Really enjoying playing both games. Taking my time exploring each Odissey world and collecting Moons. As for MKW I am mostly playing it in free roam and doing random missions as I drive around in the open world. Still not very good at the game, since I keep losing most races 😜 But it´s very fun to play.

The game looks so much fun and the fact that it is an rpg with time altering decisions mechanics in the mix is hust the icing on the cake.

This weekend I´ll be finally playing the GOTY contender Clair Obscure Expedition 33 on my Series X.
It´s already installed and ready to go. High expectations for it.
Will continue to play the very cool and quite technical Stelar Blade on my PS5.
There´s something about how satisfying the combat and exploration as well as the lore of the world.
Last, but not least, continue to play around with my brand shiny new Switch 2 and try some more Switch one games and of course, more Breath of the Wild SW2 Edition. Amazing game.

Prince of Persia (2008) is one of my favourite games of the Xbox 360/PS3 era. I beat the game 100% and got the Platinum trophy because I was enjoying the game that much.
The pure joy of traversing in that game with the gorgeus visuals and beautiful score by Inon Zur was like bliss.
And the twist at the end makes it even better.
I´m also one of the weird ones that actualy likes Final Fantasy XIII. As for the characters Hope and Snow, yeah it takes a while to warm up to them for sure. But it does get better.
And the OST by Masashi Hamauzu is one of my absolute favourites. Banger of a soundtrack.

Yeah, I do think Xbox should embrace Switch 2 and bring some of their Iconic IPs to another audience.
They can start small with just Halo Master Chief Collection and Killer Instinct. Then Hi-Fi Rush. Because that game is awesome.
Ever since Xbox Game Studios decided to port their games to PS5, slowly but steadily, they have made good money and have more players playing Xbox IPs and really enjoy them.
When Gears of War Reloaded launches on PS5, it´s going to be massive. More people will play one of the best third person shooters and it will have cross play.
The multiplayer aspect will be huge.
The reasons I still own my Xbox is mostly to play Xbox games trough backwards compatibility, but I also play Gamepass to try out new games and then purchase them in physical media or not depending on how much I end up enjoying them.
And since Xbox does not seem to go anywere in the near future, as long they keep making games that I (and many other people) want to play, that is all that matters in the end.
Just my take on the matter.

This weekend will be the first of many that I´ll be spending playing Switch 2. I absolutely love this system already, especialy how big and hi-res the screen is, and how it improves most Switch games performance and visuals.
All this to say I´ll be playing The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, again, Switch 2 Edition this time around...... And some Mario Kart World;
And since Team Ninja decided to drop an Alpha demo of Ni-Oh 3, I´ll be playing that one as well on my Playstation5......
And then Lies of P Overture dlc droped as well, so I have to play that on my Xbox Series X
Also will be checking out all the gaming events of this week.
It´s not E3, but it kinda feels like it and I think it´s great.

It´s funny. I own and have played every single game from this list between Xbox Series X, PC and PS5.
My personal favourites are:

• Lies of P;
• Remnant 2;
• Blasphemous;
• Star Wars Jedi: Survivor;
• The Surge 2.
  Still have to finish Another Crab´s Treasure and Lords of the Fallen. The latter I´m playing in co-op with a friend.
  Very fun and challenging games.
  Can´t wait for Lies of P Overture dlc for my Series X.

Are You Buying A Nintendo Switch 2?
Yes, I'm getting one at launch!
I was able to pre-order one at my local electronics shop with Mario Kart World bundle.
Very excited for Both Donkey Kong Bananza and Metroid Prime 4 Beyond.
It´s going to be wild when Xbox Game Studios games will eventual come to the system.
But Portable Halo and Gears? Count me IN!!!

My personal favourite Gears of War is Gears 3, followed very closely by Gears 2.
Absolutely loved both games campaigns and even the multiplayer, and I´m not a multiplayer kind of guy.
The first Gears game will always be a classic though.
I also really enjoyed Gears of War 4 as well, minus the opening hours. Then it becomes the Gears of War experience I know and love.
Very excited for both Gears of war Reloaded and E-Day.

For this weekend I´ll be playing:

• Chants of Sennaar, Xbox Series X. What an amazing puzzle game. One of the bests I´ve played, followed by Cocoon;
• South of Midnight, Xbox Series X. Finally playing this one. Great presentation and ost, with some interesting gameplay mechanics. Not quite feeling the combat though;
• Ender of Lilies: Quietus of the Knights, PS5. Decided to give it a chance, since a good friend of mine is a big fan of the franchise;
• Lords of the Fallen, PS5. Been having fun playing co-op with said friend. It got potential, we´ll see how good it gets:
• Metroid Dread, Switch. Still collecting the final upgrades and getting 100% before the Final Boss. Some of the speed booster puzzles are quite clever. Only two region maps left.
  Lot of good games to enjoy.
  Edit: I finished Chants of Sennaar with all achievements. Cannot recomend this game enough.

I for one, still purchase physical media, being CDs albums, Blu-Ray movies and, of course, videogames for my Xbox Series X, PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
All this news of "physical" games that only have a few megas or game-key cards, instead of having a full game product is bad in so many ways, it´s not even funny.
I have physical media from over 25 to 30 years that work completely fine today. Same as videogames.
Games from PS1, PS2 and PS3 as well as Xbox 360 that I own, all still work without an issue. Even my 3DS and PS Vita cartrige games work as well. And again, I actualy OWN the physical copies of all my games.
I do not think digital media is bad by any means.
But I am not purchasing a "physical" media product that does not have the actual product on them. It´s completely unacceptable. As simple as that.
Physical collectors are not a diyng breed. I´m one of them.
And stop calling names or badmouthing the commenters on Push Square.
Cause that is just wack.

That was THE game that I was remided of when I first saw Expedition 33.
Lost Odissey is not only one of the best classic rpgs, but also, in my opinion, THE Final Fantasy type game everyone wanted to play, but could only do it if they had an Xbox.
As you should my friend @Kaloudz, as you should.
Also @FraserG nice to see another Legend of Dragoon fan 👍
That is one of the games I would love Sony Playstation to Remaster or Remake. Maybe one day.
As for Expedition 33, I already got my Xbox Series X physical copy.

The games I´ve picked in the spring sale were:

• Ninja Gaiden 2 - 360;
• Resident Evil Code Veronica – 360;
• Cris Tales;
• Bundle: South Park : The Stick of Truth + The Fractured but Whole;
• Darksiders III - Blades & Whip Edition.
  All for 52€. And with this purchase, I now have all Xbox versions of Ninja Gaiden games on my Series X. As well as all Darksiders games, wich I´ve only played the first and the second.
  Never thought I would get so many digital games, but at these prices, makes it a little hard not to 😜

It´s interesting that I am the completely oposite in regard of those two games.
I wanted to like Starfield, since I´m a sci-fi and space fan, but unfortunately the game itself, the way the npcs look and feel are very unrealistic and not natural to me at all. The gameplay it´s not bad and the ship building is great, but after 30 hours I just kinda fell off.
And that´s fine. Not all games will mean the same to everyone, but it will always be great when we find a game that does appeal to us in every single way possible that just makes want to play and enjoy it more and more. That´s the beautiful thing about this Universe that I love and enjoy so much.

@AgentCooper Hello there friend. Cyberpunk 2077 is such a good game. It´s definitly one of those games that, the more you play, the more interesting and fun it becomes.
And there´s so much to do and explore in this game, that I don´t even use fast travel. I just drive around, because CD Projeck Red made a very imersise location with Night City.

• Continue playing AC Shadows on my Series X. Just enjoying exploring Feudal Japan and sneaking into castles and looting all the goodies;
• Continue playing Metroid Dread on my Switch. And since I´m at the end game, I´ll just go and find all the last missiles and energy tanks missing. Absolutely love this game;
• Last but not least, continue playing Black Myth Wukong on my PS5. Not only it´s a beautiful game, but also a very fun and challenging one.
  And some Strret Fighter 6 online, because why not 😜

We might even see Gears of War collection on other systems as well. And once again, I´ll be getting a physical copy for PS5.

Your talking about State of Decay 3 right? That´s one of the many that developers have anounced probably way to early.
Kinda like Insomniac´s Wolverine and Avalance´s Contraband.
Maybe it´s time for those games to be re-anounced i guess.
Even so, I´m very curious with this Xbox showcase.
We might see more of Gears of War E-Day, Perfect Dark, Fable, Ninja Gaiden 4 and just like our friend @somnambulance mentioned, hopefully Silksong (fingers crossed for an actual release date). Maybe even a brand new Halo game.
Or a brand new Ip from the many different Studios Microsoft owns as of now.
And I´m quite curious with The Outer Worlds 2 Direct. Really enjoyed the first one. Exciting time as always.

The best game I´ve played so far that has released in 2025 is Assassin´s Creed Shadows on my Series X. Have like 40 something hours and I´m enjoying it very much.
The second being Split Fiction on my PS5. Josef Fares and his team don´t miss. Me and my friend, were having a blast.
And the third is Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, that I also played on my Series X. Still one of the best action games of all time.

This weekend is all about Assassins Creed Shadows.
Can´t get enough of it. Been awhile since I played a game that hooked me like this. And the imersion mode were the characters speak their native tongue is just perfect.
I might also dable in Bleach Rebith of Souls..... If they fix the subtitles that is. I do understand most of Japanese, but I´m not fluent enough, so I need my subtitles to help me out 😜

Yes, I´m playing AC Shadows and I really enjoy the series as a whole ever since AC1.
This has been the setting and time period I´ve been waiting since AC2, and I´m having a blast just exploring, fighting fools and sneak my way into castles.
Once again, Ubisoft nails the open world design and it´s such a beautiful game to boot.
Have like 12 hours or so and I´m really enjoying it so far.
As long as I´m having fun playing a game, that´s all that matters.

@Ricky-Spanish I did played and enjoyed AC Unity.
There is a really good youtube chanel named "The Spaniard" wich have a lot of videos about AC games, but specially Unity wich does have a great time period setting, a compeling main character, a very fun sandbox of how you, the player choose how to take out each target and the BEST parkour system.
That would be my recomendation, to check "The Spaniard" out.

There is a friend of mine that also stoped playing AC games since AC3, wich he didn´t like that much, but seeing many people, including myself praise AC Origins he decided to give it a go.
And he really enjoyed it. Sometimes, you just have to give certain games a chance.
This is why Gamepass and PS Plus can be so usefull to do exactly that. Try different games and see if you like them.
Let me know if you eventualy get to play it.

I´ve always wanted to play an AC game in Feudal Japan and it feels like Ubi has done it very well.
It´s gonna be great exploring the beautiful landscapes with Yasuke and the imposing castles very stealthy with Naoe.

I chose the option "No, I ended up selling mine", mostly because I needed money to purchase my PS4 at the time.
Back then, if I wanted to be able to purchase brand new systems, i needed to sell others, so that´s what i did.
But, the fact that Xbox Series X alows me to play my physical copies of OG Xbox, Xbox 360 and even some Xbox One games that I was able to purchase in sales, as well as digital sales, is what makes the Series X so awesome to me.
I can play Ninja Gaiden Black, Psychonauts, the Mass Effect trilogy, the Gears of War trilogy and Gears of War 4 and 5, all games that I own as well as many others that I´ve been getting digital is pretty amazing. Great value in game preservation.
Now if only I could play Project Gotham Racing games on Series X...... Oh well, maybe one day.

Having finally played all the mainline Halo games when I got my Series X, back in 2022 (yes, I skipped them during OG and Xbox 360 days), I would love if the next entry in this great franchise is indeed "Leng........ Wait for it....... Dary". Couldn´t help it 😜
It is not been easy for former 343 now Halo Studio to make an impact, even though Halo Infinite was a step in the right direction.
Hopefuly they can nail it completely in the next one and bring back, at least some of the originals magic. We´ll see.

Your first post explained the exact feelings this game gives you, so kudos for that.
The normal mode is fairly easy, but the other difficulties though.....
But when the gameplay loop clicks and you realize how much of a powerhouse Ryu Hayabusa really is..... Nothing is more satisfying then literally obliterating every enemy in your way.
Such an awesome series and I´m so happy is finally back.
Currently enoying NG Black 2 while waiting for Ninja Gaiden 4.

This was the BEST Xbox Developer_Direct they have done so far.
It was made for me 😜 Grade A Plus.
Ninja Gaiden 4, with NG 2 Black Izuna Droped had me floored. I´m so happy this awesome franchise is back after 10 years absent.
South of Midnight looks way more interesting in terms of gameplay mechanics in both combat and puzzles.
Expedition 33 is everything a turn based rpg fan like myself always wanted. Looks phenomenal.
And Doom The Dark Ages might just be the most amazing fps of all time for me.
Xbox is showing work and it´s very apreciated.
Their June gaming Showcase is going to be wild. Can´t wait.

I´m a big fan of Doom 2016 like many others, but didn´t quite like Doom Eternal new gameplay style.
This one though, I´m all in.
Love the idea that you are like a tank that just buldozes trough everything.
And the new parry mechanic alongside the new melee combat looks so fun to pull off.
And then there´s the Mech and the Dragon Mount.
Yeah, I´m sold on this one, for sure.
And even though Mick Gordon won´t return for the OST after what happened with Doom Eternal, the new composers from Finishing Move seem to be doing a pretty good job. So there is that.

I just love videogames that much, can´t help it. Especialy with franchises that elevated my personal gaming enjoyment.
The NG franchise is just one of many, like Bioshock, Mass Effect, Gears of War, The last of Us, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid, Forza Horizon, God of War and many others.
In all my 40 years of life on this earth, gaming has been one of my greatest passions and to just have fun, relax and talk about with personal and online friends.
And the fact that these type of anouncements still excites me, tells more than I could describe.

Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive 3 were the two games that made me get and OG Xbox back in the day.
Same thing with Xbox 360, with both Ninja Gaiden 2 and Dead or Alive 4.
For everybody that says Xbox has no games, I really don´t know what to tell people anymore. There are more games that people can play these days. Especialy on GamePass.

It´s very cliché, but Ninja Gaidens Fans rejoice, WE ARE SO BACK!!
All I could think about before the Direct was "If is Ninja Gaiden, I´m gonna lose it."
And it was. Not only we´re getting a brand new NG game with Ninja Gaiden 4 but also Ninja Gaiden 2 Black...... TODAY!!!!
I´m kinda overwhelmed right now.
And let´s not forget how good South of Midnight, Expedition 33 and Doom The Dark Ages look and feel. Amazing stuff from all these devolopers.

My most played Xbox device will be my Series X Console.
It´s were I play the games that I purchase, both physical and digital and some GamePass games as well.
The second will be my PC.
I usually play GamePass games on my PC that don´t have a 60fps performance mode on Xbox. The other ones it´s either because I want to be able to play them in multiple devices or (mostly this) because I have no storage space on my Xbox 😜
I think this is the main issue I have with these "Next Gen" systems. They have very little storage and SSDs are not cheap.
Anyway, here´s to a fun year playing Xbox.

I am one of those PS users that also have an Xbox, so this is perfect for me. Now before anyone starts to flip, I really enjoy the Xbox controller for shooters, racers and some action adventure games. But for fighting games???
No, not really. At all. Thats why I got the 8BitDo Pro 2 Wired Controller, with Hall Effect joysticks. Just so I could play my fighting games properply...... And some other games on my PC.
It´s a pretty good controller, but this one looks even better.
Definitely considering this as a 2025 purchase for my Xbox.

The Xbox First party game I´m most excited about is Fable, followed by The Outer Worlds 2, Doom The Dark Ages and South of Midnight.
It does seems like it´s going to be a really good year for Xbox.
More so If Gears of War E-Day also launches in 2025.
We´ll see how it goes.
