Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 4-5)

Super Mario Kart (SNES) - Been playing with the kids, so I anticipate more multiplayer this weekend.

Mahjong by Microsoft (Android) - Daily challenges and puzzle packs as usual.

Burn the Rope (Windows Phone) - Nearly at the end of this one now.

Halo Wars and perhaps some Infinite multiplayer

Will be playing Kingdom Hearts 3 on PS4 and Dante's Inferno on PS3 as part of Game Club. I'm about halfway through KH3 and so far I'm loving the game. I've only played a bit of Dante's Inferno, but it's looking to be a very promising God of War clone.

I'm enjoying Fable, I'm playing all of main three in sequence now I'm on the last one.

Death Stranding - continuing this masterpiece! Actually really loving the gameplay.
Garry's Mod/GTA 5 - A mix of both with friends tonight!

Master Chief Collection. Its been so long since I played them before so I'm having so much fun.

Dragon Age 2... Still really taking advantage of my Series X. Still amazed to be playing the game in 60 FPS, so there's that. I also expected to like it better than what the game ever got credit for, and that is still the case.

Generation Zero. Haven't played much of anything else since it hit Game Pass. Loving it. Great gunplay and sound design, really nice graphics and a feeling of loneliness no other game has given me of late.

Still working my way through Gears 5. Just finishing Act 2.

Series S: Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite online. I can't wait for the campaign to drop next week. I'll also try to squeeze in som Tales of Arise.

Switch: This is so random but I've started Fire Emblem Three Houses again (this will be my fifth playthrough). Feels good to be back! I needed something relaxing to balance out the stress of Metroid Dread.

PS5: I'll be earning the platinum for Death Stranding DC this weekend. I only have a few story missions left 💪

Grim Dawn Definitive Edition. Despite some issues the underlying game is as good as it was on pc. It was also nice to see the devs address the launch issues and commit to a series s/x upgrade on the Grim Dawn Reddit (when they get a dev kit.)

Crate Entertainment are a small independent studio with this as their first and only console port to date. Considering how much they supported the GD on pc I am willing to cut them some slack and am pretty confident they will address the launch issues in due course.

I'm really enjoying far cry 6 so far. Playing that on the Series X. Also dipping in and out of Skyrim. Really excited for Halo. 😁😀 🎄🎄🎄

Mostly Halo Infinite and Minecraft this weekend. Although not going to be gaming as much this weekend as we’re going to be taking advantage of this lovely cold autumn weather.

Hello from PlayStation land! Just got a new Series S and playing Forza 5.

I’m alternating between Far Cry 6 and Forza Horizon 5. Loving both

I’ve been playing Wonderful 101 on Switch, I’ve been really enjoying it.

Pillars of eternity, I finally got into it after many attempts over the years (granted I’m on story mode but still). Halo is still fun, and I’ve started eastward which is slow but fun game so far.

I started Generation Zero on the Series X yesterday, seems like my cup o tea. Also, I have become invested in Clap Hanz Golf on my iPhone. Highly recommend it. If there is time I will get some Forza 5 and Halo MP in, maybe some Hell let Loose. I am taking my family to a Christmas parade and various Christmas activities so I don’t know how much free time I will have.

Halo Infinite last night with the guys. They like quick play, but I have the most fun playing the big battles.

On my own, I'm halfway through Guardians of the Galaxy and I must say it is very good, and I'm enjoying it very much.

I downloaded titanfall 2 to play the multiplayer for the rewards but can't connect to a single game, so decided to give the campaign a go and am loving it.
Also started archvale and am really loving the old school zelda vibe. All this in between halo infinite and forza

The lawn mower sim but IRL. Halo infinite.

Resident evil village on PS5. Bought it for £23 in the PS store. Absolute bargain.

Halo Infinite multiplayer.

Still ploughing through Disciples: Liberation, which I am really enjoying. I had hoped to finish that game then quickly whizz through both Halo 4 and 5 on an easy difficulty, just to remind me of the story (I've already solo'd them on Legendary!), but am now wondering whether I will actually finish Disciples before Infinite releases.

I need more hours in the day, if someone could please oblige....

I never played halo before, and in preparation for halo:infinite, I started playing it in the master chief collection. All I can say is wow. I started with halo reach, which was much more difficult since I am not really a fps guy. Now I’m playing combat evolved. I can’t believe I’ve missed out on this for the last 20 years.

Hi! Congrats on a good choice As for games, Microbius gave you a few good picks, but it would help if you could tell us what kind of games you like. Game Pass is full of games for all tastes, blockbusters and hidden gems alike and discovering them yourself is also part of the experience

Hi there fellow gamers.
This weekend I´ll be continuing my Guardians of The Galaxy playtrough on PS5, wich I´m loving it by the way. The banter between the characters is so good. Give those who wrote them a raise, cause they deserve it. And the voice actors as well.
Maybe do some online matches in Guilty Gear and try to get my Celestial spot (more getting my ass kicked 😜).
Happy Chaos in the right hands can mix anyone. It´s crazy.
As for new games, Forza Horizon 4 on PC. I got the ultimate edition on steam for 35€ and I´m enjoying my time in FH UK version.
I have so many cars available right from the start, that I just keep trying one after the other. And downloading some great designs for the cars by the Forza comunity.
And Chorus on PC as well. Had my eye on it form the very first trailer. Wil see how good the controls and combat feels.

Racing games are my go to genre. But I'll try anything out. Not a big fan of mass multiplayer though.

@The-Grezzly-Bear I've heard that Dirt 5 is amazing. Naturally the Forza Horizon games and if you have Gamepass Ultimate you have all them EA Games to play as well. Art of rally is supposed to be great to actually, I've yet to try it out

• The Gears of War games. One of the best third person shooter franchise out there;
• The Yakuza series. One of the wacky, dramatic, over the top and emotional gaming series out there.
  I don´t think you can go wrong with those games.

Ah, you have good taste, I see 🙂 Ok, I'm into racing games as well and there's a few of them on Game Pass. I don't know if you prefer more realistic racing (or rally games), arcade or simcade, so here are my recommendations:

• Dirt Rally 1 and 2 (outstanding graphics, sound design and a gritty, no-nonsense career mode)
• Dirt 4 and 5 if you prefer arcade rallying
• Grid- for all the flack Codies received for this one, it still is a pretty good racer
  As for single player titles with a good/great plot:
• Hellblade (it's very creepy and disturbing at times, but a masterpiece in my book)
• Alice: Madness Returns (see above)
• A Plague Tale: Inmocence (The Last of Us with rats instead of zombies)
• Battlefield: Hardline and BF4 (both have great single player campaigns)
• Dead Space 1 and 2 (see above)
• Alan Wake/Quantum Break/Control-> Remedy games. Enough said
• The Medium
• The Outer Worlds (better than Fallout)
• Titanfall 2

These are just Game Pass games 😁 Tell me if you want some recommendation from beyond that.
