I hope things pick up. As it stands today,.this very site haven't reviewed an Xbox game for 20 days.

If you go across to Nintendo and PlayStation sites, games are getting reviewed all the time.

The few people I know that also own an Xbox are all starting to regret it and game pass isn't the deal it once was.

Microsoft as a whole may do ok but I cant see Xbox retaining many current customers when new hardware comes out.

Depends on the game.

2d platformers, rogue lites and metroidvanias are played almost exclusively on switch but I'll play FPS, racing and adventure games that need power and a decent display on my series x.

I pay for 550 broadband but Xbox downloads never go above 485 wired which is probably about right.

Great multiplayer but I really miss getting new invasion maps.

There's still only 3 with no new additions since launch.

That was my most played mode on previous Call of Dutys but I'm bored to death of playing the same 3 maps since launch.

How about an option to pay the same as before but without the Activision games.

They literally have nothing that interests me that I hadn't already bought.

Not getting my hopes up after several of the games I was really looking forward to being delayed time and time again only to be major disappointments.

There's plenty of good games around but most often they end up being games that weren't even on my radar.

There's a ton of third party games I want to buy but I can't see Xbox lasting much longer so am waiting for ps5 pro to come out.

I'll probably still keep my Xbox but certainly don't trust the format enough to build up a digital library.

For me there hasn't been a must play exclusive.

I very much enjoyed Halo and a few others while games like Redfall, Starfield and Forza Motorsport were fairly disappointing.

It's been nice playing through the game pass library but now that I've caught up on what I wanted to play, new additions seem sparse.

I don't regret buying an Xbox, although like many, I never would have if PS5 stock had been more readily available.

Will probably go back to Sony when the PS5 Pro comes out.

Probably the best line up of games announced by any of the big 3 console manufacturers for years.

Still, there were hardly any shadow drops and most were 2025 games which we all know will end up being delayed a couple of years if past history is anything to go by.

I knew not to get my hopes up but can't give it an A without Silksong.

Also an awful lot of 2025 releases that will no doubt be delayed several years.

Still, some great games and deserving of a B

I've got that game on Switch and really enjoyed it.

I remember the developers listened to everything the gaming community said and released countless patches to make an already enjoyable game even better.

Lack of PS5 availability convinced me.

I don't totally regret it and have enjoyed playing many of the Gamepass games.

That said, I may switch sides again when PS5 Pro comes out.

The one thing holding mw3 back is the lack of ground war / invasion maps. Only 3 since launch

I played it on the Switch and it was a fun game. The developers listened to feedback from players and made many improvements.

I'll just do the same thing that I've done with tv subscriptions.

I used to subscribe to Netflix, Prime, Now TV and Disney all at the same time. Now I just pick one each month and put the other 3 on hold. When I come back to a service after 4 months there's loads on new content to watch and I really don't miss having them all at once.

With Gamepass, I'll just make do with the games already in my collection and then subscribe for one month a couple of times a year when there's enough new content.

I'd love to try mouse and keyboard with my series x but the only one officially recommended by xbox is never available.

Any recommendations for something compatible.

It's free money and better than what the competition offers but it's still no where near as generous as it used to be.

I own all the Call of Duty games and there's little else I'm interested in. (maybe Crash 4)

The one benefit of this deal may be a more active multiplayer on some of the older games.

I rarely find a match on black ops 2 and when I do, I never get matched with people at my level of pretty useless.

I genuinely don't understand why console manufacturers arent more generous with storage space or at least provide better value expansion cards.

While I may finish and then delete some adventure games, the lack of space often stops me from buying some multiplayer or arcade games that I'd want permanently installed.

I'd have thought that they would more than get their money back if they sold own brand expansion cards at cost price or a small loss.

I'm on 76 weeks. Looks like it'll end before I get my 2500 points for 80 weeks.

Felt very slow to me.

I'd love to try haptic feedback but couldn't live without the paddles on my Elite.

There are precisely 2 games I have a mild interest in playing on the Ubisoft library.

I have 5 - 10 hours avaliable for gaming each week so for me it would be cheaper to pick these games up second hand or on sale rather than paying to rent them for the year it would take to finish them.

Unless there is loads of content and a ridiculously cheap price I'll always buy over renting.

No problems so far although Ive only used it twice. This policy makes me so much more likely to take a risk with games and in the long run spend much more.

I tried to get a refund on a game through Nintendo once which was ordered in error and not even downloaded, let alone played. They completely refused.

Since then xbox have received 80 percent of my gaming budget.

I'd always prefer to own a game than rent it knowing full well that it may be removed from the service when I'm half way through it.

Nothing. Seems to be mainly the same games that go on sale every month.

It seems like a good game but I soon realised that it would need more than the 2 hours a week that I have for gaming.

Please someone develop light gun technology that works with modern tvs so we can have the Virtua Cop games again.

Many including myself only bought the Series X because we couldn't get our hands on a PS5.

Now Sonys stock is sorted out, this was bound to happen unless Microsoft really took the fight to Sony and stopped making comments that indicate that they have already lost and don't care about console sales.

I don't totally regret buying an Xbox and have enjoyed some of the gamepass exclusives but if I didn't have either console, I know which one I'd buy.

Apart from the very final months free games, there had been very little for me in over a year.

It's a shame they didn't try to make it something better but if it was going to continue disappointing everyone with rubbish each month, its best that they ended it.

I never bothered with gamepass achievements but microsoft are definitely winding the points down.

I used to be able to pay for gamepass with my points and it only took a couple of minutes a day.

Now, I barely pick up half the points needed and seem to be spending a lot longer doing it.

Probably not worth chasing microsoft points anymore.

It's not just this game. I thought by now, developers would be really pushing this new hardware to new levels and these triple A games would be absolutely blowing us away.

Instead, we are watching YouTube videos comparing this with Motorsport 7 and having to have the slight differences in graphics pointed out to us.

It's a good game, and the 8 out of 10 score given by this website is probably about right.

I haven't played either of them yet but from the video and to my untrained eye, GT7 looks way better. Much more vibrant, nicer clouds, it doesn't even seem close to me.

I've played only for a few hours but it hasn't really pulled me in so far.

I'm sure that it's a really good game for those who spend time on it but don't think it's for casual players who only have a couple of hours to play games each week.

It's definitely harder to earn points now and the weekly 100 point gift has also gone.

I used to earn enough points each month to pay for gamepass and it required very little effort.

I'm spending a lot more time and I'm still 3 or 4 thousand points short each month.

I suppose the points are free but question whether it's really worth the effort anymore.

My Internet is about as fast as you can get and I still get pixilated graphics.

I only use cloud for the occasional Microsoft points reward or to quickly out a game when the download size is large.

Still haven't used the disk drive on my series x despite owning it for a year.

I own both of these on the Switch.

While I won't be replaying them, they are definitely 2 decent games to close the service on.

@InterceptorAlpha I agree. I remember being blown away by PS1, N64, PS2 and PS3.

Since then, it's been a case of really having to look to see the difference between generations.

I've been gaming since the zx spectrum days but there's surprisingly few classics that I had wanted to replay on this service.

Any other generation and I would say yes but I don't think developers have really got to grips with the series x yet.

There are many xbox one and ps4 games that as if not very nearly as good.

If xbox develop a new series x without trying to get everything out of the series x first, I will move to PlayStation out of principal.

Super Luckys Tale not tracking. Tried going back to main menu, re-entering level but nothing.

The price wouldn't bother me if they continued to offer lots of decent new additions.

At one point they were adding at least 3 or 4 games a month that I really wanted to play.

There has been nothing for me since Hifi Rush in January though.

Fantastic game but havent played it in ages and unlikely to go back.

I used to be able to earn around £10 a month from microsoft points with very little effort which paid for gamepass.

Recently, with points not tracking and reduced rewards, its getting closer to £5 and taking much longer.

I hope we start getting some decent gamepass additions soon or I may cancel at least until Starfield comes out.

It's just not worth the hassle, especially as I haven't used gamepass since Hifi Rush.

Despite paying every month, I havent played a Gamepass game since Hifi Rush.

I used to justify it by saying the money could be earned back in microsoft points but the unreliable tracking is too much hassle now.

I'll probably cancel and just resubscribe a month at a time when something decent comes out.

Gamepass haven't given me anything worth playing since Hifi Rush. I kept it as it was possible to earn money back in Microsoft points, but their point tracking is terrible and its becoming more of a hassle than its worth.

I think I'll just get Gamepass for a month here and there from now on when there is actually something I want to play.

Lots of promising stuff but there's been nothing of interest on Gamepass to me since Hifi Rush.

I was hoping for a few new additions today. It may be worth cancelling for a few months.
