I think it will be time for a new console in 2027 it makes sense! It'll be 7 years the Series consoles have been out then.

Thank you for clarifying in this post that you need to download the specific beta as I had thought pre-installing the main game was all we needed to do to access the beta.

I played this when it was on game pass, had some good matches on it and got out of it what I probs wanted.

Gears of war 3 was so good so it gets my vote. I did enjoy Gears of War 2 and got it a day earlier thanks to good old play.com back in the day. Once they fixed the bugs and rubber banding then it was a better game. Gears of War 3 launched so well and I enjoyed the extra weapons and maps that it brought with it.

I'm still playing through Oblivion and loving it and I've also unlocked the stuff on the blaze event on Call of Duty.

I wanted to play Vermintide 2, Police Simulator and of course DOOM the dark ages so it's gunna be another busy month for me! I can't keep up with the amount of games

Their stock price dropped 8% with the delay to next year.. this helps to balance that back up lol.

For me I wanted a Series X so I would probs still have got one, however the Series S I have would not be worth it and I would not buy it at today's prices.

I'm sorry but those Series S prices now are wild! I'm glad I got my Series X and S consoles before the initial price increases nevermind these!

Just picked up Crysis Remastered trilogy, been keeping tabs on it for a while and this is the lowest it's ever been 😱

I've downloaded it to my Series X just waiting to finish the last mission on Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League and then I'm gunna start it. I've never played Oblivion before I'm so excited.

Finally I can buy games and redeem codes again on the app, missed these features since they were taken away years ago.

@Nic-Noc20th-C I'm really hoping for various special edition controllers and a console wrap for Gears E-Day. As I'll definitely get those 😊

The regular Doom Guy controller looks awesome! If I hadn't just recently got a new controller I would probably get that.

Nah I wasn't interested in this but now we've seen more of it I'm definitely not going to bother with it. Got plenty of other games to play.

@TROTTERS78 I opted for the regular version that was on sale for £38 a month or so back, used £10 reward points so got it for £28 it does seem strange they've done the gold edition this time

@Fiendish-Beaver A tip for when you are playing Avowed, don't complete the main story until you are happy you've done everything as it doesn't let you go back once you do the final part. It's so odd it just doesn't have the option to carry on exploring after the end, it just simply reloads the last cut scene if you select continue.

I'm waiting for the DOOM Dark Ages one to change to next, I currently have the Stalker 2 one 😎

@Medic_alert yeah that's the key thing here, look at current gen Switch game prices, they do not get any cheaper over time.. so these are going to stay at £75 which for what they are is too IMO. I'll stick with my OLED switch and current games that I have thanks haha

@RiverGenie Yep same here, I was like this is a must buy for me, to meh wired just doesn't work with my current set up! The PowerA Fusion Pro seems to be the only one that ticks all the boxes for me but at £120 is a steep price to pay!

It has to be WoW for me, so many memories of playing it when it came out. I'd love to go back and play it, especially if it was WoW Classic.

It's better that it's now in one app but I would like the ability to buy games via the app again!

I wouldn't want to play a PVP FPS game on the cloud, free or not it would still add an element of delay which just isn't there playing directly.

I'm hoping someone uses it on Battlefield 1943 so we can get community servers to play it since EA killed it off in 2023

Meh Fragpunk is seeming more and more dead on arrival all the time, would be reluctant to spend anything on it as it could well go the way of Xdefiant and many others.

For me it needs to have multiplayer, it's a large part of what the original games were for me and a unified multiplayer experience across the games with cross play would be awesome.

I'm still very slowly working my way through the campaign on this, although I enjoyed both single player and multiplayer better on Age of Empires 2 and 4

I used to love the days of MSN Messenger in the early 2000s, I used Skype a lot at work as we had it for company messages and it was good too but we switched to Teams and also now slack about 6 years ago
