@Markatron84 I got extremely lucky recently and won a gaming laptop competition so got an Acer Predator 50 series laptop for free. It's kinda made me think about switching entirely over to PC to be honest.

I'm prepaid up on Ultimate until August 2027, after that I see no reason to continue on Ultimate and will downgrade to Essential (depending on what the price is like then, if not then I may just fully cancel altogether)
I think they've made a big mistake with this update to be honest.

I wanted to play some of these so I'm happy with these additions 😊

@BaldB3lper78 ah ok interesting, I see they made some UI improvements to the whole device which seems to have improved it. There is one for £150 with a carry case at cash converters which seems a better price I agree.

@BaldB3lper78 the price of the G Cloud for what is essentially an Android tablet in a controller body is what has always shocked £300 for that is crazy.

The fact that 5 years after launch the Series X is going to cost $150 more and the Series S $100 more is crazy!
I'm glad I got my Series X at launch and my Series S a year later as these prices are crazy.

@Blurd in the past they've told me that 1 and 3 month redemptions of Game Pass Ultimate have gone 'out of stock's and just to wait and the 3 month option should return again once 'in stock' I'm not sure why they do this but it should come back on for you.

I liked 23 and 24 on console on Game Pass so I'm looking forward to playing this when it arrives. The new match engine looks decent.

I've hopped on to have a go and this and its great fun. The new free battle pass for this operation has some good stuff in it too.

@Fiendish-Beaver After 2 of my regular controllers got stick drift and I wasn't happy with the build quality of my Elite Series 2 controller, particularly the rubber grips peeling.

I decided to get the PowerA Fusion Pro Wireless controller and it's got hall effect sticks and a rechargeable battery and I've been happy with it so far after 6 months, it's been well worth the £120 I paid for it in the sale.

@RagnarLothbrok it's gunna happen at the same time as we get a new Banjo Kazooie game isn't it? 😬😬

Blue Dragon 2 for Xbox Series X

I own the original as a backer on Kickstarter, I played through a lot of it but didn't finish it. I think I'll just go back to the Xbox One version and try to finish that instead of buying this again 😐

I've really enjoyed it so far, I've noticed a few bugs in terms of getting stuck in water or terrain but overall it's been good. The other thing I've noticed is some rubber banding with players running on the spot then jumping forward to where they should have been but I'm guessing some of that is down to how busy the servers have been.

I will try to get on when my kids aren't on playing Minecraft or Roblox haha. If it's cloud enabled I'll be playing a bit more 😊

I've completed it 4 times so far, I'm looking forward to playing through it again and trying it out on Insane again 🫣

@Ricky-Spanish ah ok that's good to know then actually, I'm really looking forward to the game too. I do like Starship Troopers and I've put 60 hours into Starship Troopers Extermination as I love the film and it was the closest thing to Helldivers on Xbox before this haha 🤣

I've got it queued up ready on my Xbox, I'm looking forward to it! How much of a grind would it be to get the legendary warbonds needed to get this Halo ODST stuff? I'm not familiar with how they work since I've not played on PS5 or PC 😊

I've been enjoying the new season on Infinite, some good stuff to unlock and they are getting the updates out on a steady cadence which is nice.

On a side note if I pre-ordered this on Xbox using my debit card and the payment has not yet been taken (I know it will go 10 days before release) and I've since added a £10 gift card to my account. Will it take from the gift card balance first then the remainder from my debit card?

This is not a good time to work with or be part of Xbox Game Studios as a developer at all, sad times.

I played this when it was on game pass, had some good matches on it and got out of it what I probs wanted.

Gears of war 3 was so good so it gets my vote. I did enjoy Gears of War 2 and got it a day earlier thanks to good old play.com back in the day. Once they fixed the bugs and rubber banding then it was a better game. Gears of War 3 launched so well and I enjoyed the extra weapons and maps that it brought with it.
