It now says 100% off as a Just for You price for me rather than 24.99 so it seems to finally be working now.

I've just been onto Rockstar live chat unless you bought the Xbox One version of it you need to pay £24.99 for it.
I told them it was a messy launch and rubbish communication and that I would go play Battlefield 6 instead.

I played a bit of Black Ops 7 on launch and it made me go back to Battlefield 6 and to never return 🤣

This is a right mess, I've reached out to Xbox support earlier but some official response from either Xbox or Rockstar would be appreciated

@Medic_alert Yes they seem to have messed it up on Xbox, I was told by support chat to raise it as an outage so it gets highlighted to the store team to look at.

@Medic_alert it also shows as paid for me as well

It's good to see it getting a good amount of players still. A lot of people may go to it because of the CE remaster being the campaign only and wanting to play multiplayer on that game plus the others.
I might move back MCC once this final season in Infinite is finished.

I've been looking forward to this game finally coming to Xbox! I can't wait to check it out

I've now finished Keeper so I've started on The Outer Worlds 2 and I've also been playing some Battlefield 6 for the double XP weekend!

The campaign was only ok for me, I played through all of it and then went back through about half on co-op before giving up. I've put a lot of time into the multiplayer and once Forge and the updates were coming fairly regularly it's been a fun experience.

Well I guess it gives me more time to save up for it then

I've completed it, I enjoyed it for what it was and I would say it's an 8/10 as it's something a bit different.

I was waiting for the patches.. looks like I will buy it at some point but I'm now busy playing The Outer Worlds 2

I'm using The Keeper one at the moment, it's so lovely 😊

This looks really good and for £70 isn't bad when you think it comes with a charging stand and hall effect sticks

I got it on launch day but not on Xbox, I have it on PC via the EA app.

I like Dead by Daylight so I'm going to give this a try, I also like shorter narrative driven games.

I'm playing Battlefield 6 on PC and I've been enjoying it so far.

This just seems old fashioned and silly

I have an Elite Series 2 controller which the rubber grips peeled off and I've had to replace the lower and upper shell myself after 5 years of ownership so no I don't think I'd get another Elite controller due to quality concerns.
I also own a PowerA Fusion Pro Wireless Xbox controller and I have to say for £100 it's been a very nice controller doing everything I need it to and it's meant my Elite Series 2 has become my backup controller.

I got an odd email off Xbox but it was saying my price was going to be increasing and not staying the same. The reason it was odd is that it listed the price increase as a whole across a year not in terms of the individual monthly price increase.. here is a quote from it:

"Thank you for being a subscriber of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. We are planning to update our prices to address changing market conditions. This price change allows us to continue to bring you more value and great games for the very best gaming experience. Starting 4 November 2025, you will be charged £275.99 plus applicable taxes every recurrence period unless you cancel up to two days prior to your next scheduled payment date. You can manage your subscription, change how you pay or cancel your subscription by visiting your Microsoft account here.
Your subscription price is changing from £179.99 to £275.99."

It's an odd way of advising the price increase lol

@FraserG I completely agree! I was checking the stream your own games in the app for 2 weeks post the Helldivers 2 release to no avail and then it seems when I stopped checking it they added it to the service haha.
My Series X and S are often used by my kids so being able to stream it is useful to me 😊

@Markatron84 it was specifically the Acer Predator Helios Neo 18 AI that I got which has an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, 32GB RAM, RTX 5070 TI Laptop GPU in it.
I've not been in the PC gaming side of things since the mid 2000's when playing WoW when it came out so I'm really rusty when it comes to making sure it's doing what it should be for me. But up to now I've relied on the Nvidia recommended settings for the games I've installed on it haha

@Markatron84 I got extremely lucky recently and won a gaming laptop competition so got an Acer Predator 50 series laptop for free. It's kinda made me think about switching entirely over to PC to be honest.

I'm prepaid up on Ultimate until August 2027, after that I see no reason to continue on Ultimate and will downgrade to Essential (depending on what the price is like then, if not then I may just fully cancel altogether)
I think they've made a big mistake with this update to be honest.

I wanted to play some of these so I'm happy with these additions 😊

@BaldB3lper78 ah ok interesting, I see they made some UI improvements to the whole device which seems to have improved it. There is one for £150 with a carry case at cash converters which seems a better price I agree.

@BaldB3lper78 the price of the G Cloud for what is essentially an Android tablet in a controller body is what has always shocked £300 for that is crazy.

The fact that 5 years after launch the Series X is going to cost $150 more and the Series S $100 more is crazy!
I'm glad I got my Series X at launch and my Series S a year later as these prices are crazy.

@Blurd in the past they've told me that 1 and 3 month redemptions of Game Pass Ultimate have gone 'out of stock's and just to wait and the 3 month option should return again once 'in stock' I'm not sure why they do this but it should come back on for you.

I liked 23 and 24 on console on Game Pass so I'm looking forward to playing this when it arrives. The new match engine looks decent.

I've hopped on to have a go and this and its great fun. The new free battle pass for this operation has some good stuff in it too.

I decided to get the PowerA Fusion Pro Wireless controller and it's got hall effect sticks and a rechargeable battery and I've been happy with it so far after 6 months, it's been well worth the £120 I paid for it in the sale.

Blue Dragon 2 for Xbox Series X

I own the original as a backer on Kickstarter, I played through a lot of it but didn't finish it. I think I'll just go back to the Xbox One version and try to finish that instead of buying this again 😐

I've really enjoyed it so far, I've noticed a few bugs in terms of getting stuck in water or terrain but overall it's been good. The other thing I've noticed is some rubber banding with players running on the spot then jumping forward to where they should have been but I'm guessing some of that is down to how busy the servers have been.

I will try to get on when my kids aren't on playing Minecraft or Roblox haha. If it's cloud enabled I'll be playing a bit more 😊

@Ricky-Spanish ah ok that's good to know then actually, I'm really looking forward to the game too. I do like Starship Troopers and I've put 60 hours into Starship Troopers Extermination as I love the film and it was the closest thing to Helldivers on Xbox before this haha 🤣

I've got it queued up ready on my Xbox, I'm looking forward to it! How much of a grind would it be to get the legendary warbonds needed to get this Halo ODST stuff? I'm not familiar with how they work since I've not played on PS5 or PC 😊
