Xbox One should have been an easy slamdunk for MS but Mattrick decided he wanted to get fancy and missed.

I bought Quantum Break and Control Ultimate Edition. Whenever I get around to beating those, I'm sure Allen Wake 2 will be on sale for cheap enough for me to buy it.

I'm not 100% surprised by this, but it probably should have been on there in lieu of Resi 4.

Xbox 360 because exclusives were still a thing. In what I consider to be the traditional sense of the word, anyway. Xbox Series X is really good, but the software has taken longer to get going than previous generations (thanks to real world conditions).

I've never played a Starcraft game (I'm not that into RTS) but going into a new genre sounds interesting. Let's hope something materializes from this...

@Strawbnyan I'm also primarily a Switch gamer, but I have built a solid Xbox library and generally like the people here so I come to this site for Xbox news.

@Strawbnyan I really don't care, I just knew that my comment would upset some users on here, specifically the ones who insist a certain other console has the best games on the planet yet rarely seem to actually play their video games. Most of which I ignore, but they tend to show themselves on articles like this, where a game actually has better performance on their least favorite system (that most normal people won't notice anyway, like 95% of other video games).

That PS5 SSD, amirite.

@GamingFan4Lyf Starcraft Ghost? There's a title I haven't thought about in ages. It would almost be Xbox's Metroid Dread moment if they really released that game.

Skylanders would be a nice revival but we'll see if that really comes to fruition. Still waiting for Banjo-Kazooie (yes, I bought Nuts & Bolts, twice if you count Rare Replay) and Conker...

My only minor gripe (and it is more minor than it sounds) is the lack of mini-maps.

I started it a week ago and I've been loving it. Every choice feels meaningful and the questlines are excellent.

So was Cyberpunk ever actually bad or were most of the complaints for the console versions centered on the game not working on consoles?

Conker's Bad Fur Day and Banjo-Kazooie, for me. We're already getting a new Perfect Dark, so no complaints there.

MS already said during the X1 era that they'd "use the cloud" to increase the console's power, so this isn't 100% shocking.

Not surprised about the Nintendo bit, but I don't see them selling anytime soon.

@Kienda I had the same thought. Starfield 2 is going to be really impressive if we live to see it.

Already bought this, but I'm waiting until my work slows down and my mind is clear to truly enjoy this. Should be about a month, and I'll dive in. Sounds like a lot of outlets are loving it and it's what I expected it to be.

I used MS rewards points to pay for it in full, so I'm good.

I've been playing the extra modes on my laptop to get MS points. Such a fun game.

I enjoy HD rumble on Switch and would appreciate a variation of it on Xbox.

The Switch version actually looks decent, in comparison.

Yes, this is a big reason I'll probably skip it on Switch. I can play this on my Series X in 4k.

Maybe MS can tap other developers to work on Rare IP that the latter refuses to develop. Just an idea!!!

This will be a complaint until and unless Nintendo's next system is a success. If it is successful, expect third-party devs to complain more about that system than Series S. In a weird way, MS shouldn't mind a Nintendo system doing well because it'll take the lightning rod status away from their device. Lol

Based on the demo, it's deserved.

Fun game, not the 10/10 some outlets feel it is, but very fun game.

This begs the question of why it's not BC or still active, but maybe I'm out of my lane with that question.
