I need more survival horror so this is very welcome indeed. Can’t wait for the Silent Hill games to come to Xbox and that new Resident Evil game next year. Good times!

Honestly all they have to do is make a better Battlefield 4, it can’t be that hard but apparently it is very very hard. Also, bring back some WW1 or do a black ops style Battlefield ColdWar, where it’s proxy conflicts around the globe. Anyways if rumours are to be believed it’ll be a copy of Warzone, and if that is true then that is just very sad.

This game, as so many other games released nowadays, just don’t appeal to me. I am just so tired of the live service multiplayer game, when will devs know their demographic is already playing a live service game and it isn’t theirs.

I still buy my movies on blu ray, I really need to get a good 4K player the Xbox can’t read the 100gb+ discs, which is a let down. Come to think of it, I do believe I somehow have at least 1 movie on that platform, Disneys Good Dinosaur I think it was lol.

News flash, AI will make 90% of mankind obsolete. Also noteworthy, Hyundai bought a lion share in Boston Dynamics, they will be building humanoid robots that will cost $10k a pop and will do any job a human can do. One off expense and works 24/7 vs. Current human employee who costs thousands all year long and has to sleep. The next 2 years will show us how quickly we can go from things are ok to actually I think we are about to go extinct.

@Kaloudz I remember that bozo! Manhunt was amazing at the time and to be honest still is, sure it’s clunky nowadays compared to what’s out today but are there any other games that allow you to suffocate your enemies with a plastic bag?

I honestly loved Black Ops 6, it was a blast! But I can’t continue the endless grind only for a new game to come out and your stuff is worthless. Sure I can use the skins in Warzone but I don’t play that game. So yeah I am done with this one!

All Microsoft needs to do for me is make the APU available to everyone so you can just built your very own Xbox yourself. You can then pair it with any graphics card for pc gaming and play all your Xbox games natively as well as your steam library.

@CallMeDuraSouka don’t know who that is, but he sounds like a good guy! Sure eurogamer has tried to be less biased now but in the past man it was obvious. And btw nothing anybody will tell me about this will change my mind. Their websites dead to me!

Halo is kinda dead no? Like infinite was great but missed the mark for me. This remake is like why? Is it for the PlayStation so they can finally experience Halo after 20 years. Pearls for the swine, what a wasteful endeavour. No multiplayer, we all know why, because they want to Fortnite the next halo game as they down with CoD. I am done playing competitive online multiplayer games, not interested.

Live service game at the end of its life, wouldn’t get invested in it now if not already. I do miss the original Destiny and the way it made me buy the game 3 times.

Yeah I’ve got some. Manhunt, looks amazing and honestly simply for its history worth a play through. Silent Hill HD collection, really enjoyed my time here, even though it could have been so much more. Max Payne 3, absolute classic. Dead or Alive 3 and Conker live and reloaded. Dante’s Inferno, so good! Dead Space 2. Beautiful Katamari, crazy taxi and Daytona USA. Midnight Club Los Angeles. Prey, the first original one.

I can totally get lost in another post apocalyptic nuclear wasteland, please release it next gen and please use a engine that’s not 20 plus years old.

Sales have been weak, where are the crazy discounts? 25% off? That’s a sale for ants! You can’t tell me the largest gaming publisher in the world can’t offer games cheaper than steam? I don’t know what they are doing at Microsoft but they aren’t doing the right thing

The next gen Xbox will be an APU anyone can buy and built a pc out of. Once the APU is in the motherboard and the correct amount of ram and NVME is installed you can play all your Xbox games natively on that pc, then you can add a 5080ti and bang your Xbox is now limitless. But whatever

I will wait for the next Xbox before I buy a VR headset, once they confirm the whole Steam crossover etc bit that’s been rumoured, I will get a VR headset and hopefully be able to play on it natively! Peace

Bought System Shock 1 a few months ago played a few hours and really had a great time with it. Recommended to anyone who also enjoyed the bioshock games.

Honestly, the way gaming is going at the moment I am not too excited for the future. Maybe I am growing old? This next Xbox is everything the Series console should have been, but I guess it wasn’t the right time yet. I am down for an Xbox that’s the cross (X get it) box between Console and PC, what it essentially should have always been. If the specs are great and the launch games are truly next gen (no cross gen stuff), I’d be willing to splash 499 for it. I can only imagine what’s been cooking up from their developers for next gen! My biggest wish is we get AI games, with flexible quests, story lines and NPCs acting like real people and please just let games run 4K 60fps.

My biggest hope is that more games are added and eventually you can play any Xbox game from across all generations. I’d like to play Riddick without PC shenanigans one day, especially the OG Xbox version. Anyhow, interesting to see if more and more games will get resolution bumps and fps increases with each consecutive console generation.

Honestly I think they lost the plot! If it’s true and a dedicated handheld is coming for next gen which is at most 2 years away, why would I commit to this handheld now? I am actually a bit cross about this generation, where’s the one game that actually made the series x shine? Was that supposed to be Hellblade 2 or the new Doom? Such underwhelming games man, anyways I do love the Xbox and I just wish this generation didn’t feel so wasted. Whatever…

Bit embarrassing that a software company like Microsoft can’t built emulation software for their backcompact games. Honestly if the next Xbox doesn’t allow me to play all my games natively or via a layer of emulation what’s the point?

Gears 2 still is the best, don’t know what they were thinking on the later entries. Could have been good if they just kept the gore and the executions tight. But they had to introduce yellow glowing enemies in the third game, and then robots in the 4th and after that the series was dead to me. Like thanks Microsoft for trying to make it a Rated E game when it should have been always almost a Rated AO.

I have 0 expectations for this game, after the last 2 they made, I have lost all confidence in Dice. BF1 was the last great battlefield game. Wish they made an actual good WW2 one, 5 was weak!

Honestly if next gen is as expensive as what it is now, I will skip it and most likely will be. If Gamepass gets more expensive I may just play offline! I have hundreds of games across so many consoles and PC. New stuff is also full of ugly characters and nonsensical dialogues, the games are weak.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 was great but I bought and played the first one so much that the second one didn’t feel like much of an upgrade, and then it just takes ages unlocking dinosaurs… like unbelievable how sluggish progress was in this game. Wondered for a long time when it would leave and now is the day, if it was 90% I may pick it up lol

I mean it doesn’t take much to beat Marathon, but I have no interest in extraction shooter games. I am taking a break from competitive multiplayer, it’s just such a huge waste of time!

Honestly, even before the price hike games were too expensive! Wonder if next gen is even going to be worth it. If MS is clever they make a console with some advanced AI stuff and leave the graphics as they are.

What’s with the texture pop in for the last RoboCop, it really made me regret buying that on my xbox.

I ve played exclusively on Xbox essentially since the 360, with the One I went all in on digital games. I have hundreds of titles across all Xbox generations and I love them all. For me as long as new hardware allows me to play all those, I will be in the market for an Xbox. Honestly I am not a huge fan of gamepass as subscriptions just eat my money, and I am tired of it. Anyways I do hope Xbox will do something new and exciting with their next console, something that makes it unique from the other consoles, so they offer an experience you may only get there. I am excited for the future of Xbox and I hope we still have them in 20 years!

Can’t wait to see the rumoured Fallout 3 Remaster, just love fallout too much!

Thank god this came out, Avowed was just such a let down for me, and this will definitely keep me busy for a long time!

I pull the trigger on this one eventually, just hoping for a decent sale on it. These days any game above £20 can wait for a bit for me, I have plenty of things to play as it is.

@Kaloudz I think it’s something to do with licensing, you can still play it via disc and it was on the 360 store digitally a long time ago. WB Games man, only god knows what they are doing.

@GeorgeKal Persona 4 Remake has caught my eye too. I played Golden on the Vita and have been wanting to replay it on Xbox lately. If it’s in the upcoming spring sale, I’ll definitely grab it. I’m not sure why, but other Persona games just didn’t resonate with me as much.

I purchased a few games, including Onimusha. It’s undoubtedly a Resident Evil-inspired game set in ancient Japan. It’s both awesome and clunky. The System Shock remake by Nightdive is pure gold. If you’ve played the Bioshock games, this is essentially the same game, but set in a cyber setting. I can’t believe how good this game is. Couldn’t put it down and played 2 hours straight.

WAW I’d download in a heartbeat. I still reminisce about those days and it was truly the world war 2 shooter to play. They should have remastered it with a modern multiplayer.

@Kaloudz FEAR 3 wasn’t as good as the first two and one is the best but unavailable, however 3 is a lot of fun in its own right. It had a pretty cool survival mode, with each round getting harder. Good fun with friends!

Upgradable?! Never, we prob get two skus one big one for under the tv and switch model. If it does steam and is priced around £350 it’ll be hard to ignore if you are in the market for a gaming pc. I however gonna hold on to my series x for awhile unless next gen offers something new and original.

The anticipation is killing me, you guys do a good job hyping the sale. I wasn’t really that interested until the previous article last week, since then I am like when does it start! Not sure what I’d buy but sure find something fun, DMC5 SE has been amazing, proper upgrade to the last gen version. Peace
