Following its surprise announcement last month, publisher Nacon has revealed RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business is officially coming to Xbox on July 17! The standalone title follows directly on from the original Robocop: Rogue City, and sees you infiltrating an OmniTower that's been invaded by a "group of highly trained mercenaries armed with cutting-edge weapons".
The new release date comes by way of a fresh trailer from the team, which we've thrown up above for you to take a look at. If you enjoyed the original game, it's looking and sounding highly likely that RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business will be right up your street as well.
"Armed mercenaries have seized control of the OmniTower. Their goal is to take control of the power source at its core. Combine this with stolen modules from the Metro West precinct, and they'll have all the parts needed to take control of any OCP technology in the vicinity, including RoboCop.
Ascend the OmniTower, a housing project turned deathtrap, with turrets, traps, and squads of troopers roaming the halls. All the while, you'll be exploring a new story, uncovering links between RoboCop, the people around him, and their shared history as you learn the lengths some are willing to go to realize their ideals."
The team says that Unfinished Business will bring lots of new goodies to the table, including "new weapons such as the Cryo Cannon, enemies including androids with katanas, and devastating finish moves". This new RoboCop release will also feature "thrilling flashbacks" relating to events from the famous movie franchise.
We don't have any pricing information on this one just yet, but expect to hear more about the team's plans before RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business hits Xbox this July.
