Hot on the heels of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 delivering sprawling RPG greatness in 2025, the team at Warhorse Studios is seemingly planning a big upgrade for Xbox One's Kingdom Come: Deliverance, with the last-gen title expected to get an Xbox Series X|S patch very soon.
As shared by our friends over at Push Square, the PlayStation Store has just leaked details of an updated version of KCD1. The game's digital listing has seen a description update, where details of a PS5 upgrade are mentioned - including 4K visuals, improved frame rate, higher resolution textures and more.
Here's that updated description in full:
"The PS5 version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance now features graphical upgrades including 4K resolution, an improved frame rate, high-resolution textures, and much more. Medieval Bohemia has never looked so beautiful."
Of course, being a PS Store leak this all relates to the PS5 version of the game, but we'd fully expect this to all translate over to Xbox Series X as well. The Xbox Series S version will probably aim for lower resolutions, but here's hoping that upgraded frame rate applies to Microsoft's cheaper current-gen console as well.
Anyway, we'll be keeping an eye on this one as it develops, and hopefully we see some specific Xbox details shortly. You'd expect the patch to arrive pretty soon if the digital storefront descriptions are getting updated!
