I'm waiting for the PC version - because it's just grand theft auto at the end of the day but if they do another la noire id get straight on that via the Xbox.

What do Microsoft benefit from doing this? are the quizzes people play and answer a way to train their Ai models or something.

I had an Xbox one in that similar state, I used to do high round attempts on black ops 3 so id leave it on all night/day.

It came to a point were it was crashing so it was time to clean it but there was that much dust and cigarette muck inside it created a padding on the metal beneath the shroud that left a permanent burn mark on it because it was getting that hot 🙃.

I've not smoked in over five years & I'm seeing better days, good times.

They have 14k employees and they couldn't even get some extras on board remotely to speed up the products production.

I know the majority of them are there to work on assassins creed but it's seem they have some serious problems and way too many coffee breaks to not pull this off on the side.

I think theses cod studios should just make something not FPS related but I suppose the cow always needs to be milked .

@smoreon They probably just ran a stress test, updated the API calls and called it a day just so it doesn't mess up people's profile saves whilst also making sure it doesn't brick and overheat the device which will mitigate requests to Nintendo for refunds.

It's easy money for them but at this point on, day by day, release to release, it would seem they just don't give a phuck but unfortunately people still lap it up.

I assume Black ops 7 is a throwaway product that takes the stress off the developer's shoulders so they can add the extra bells & whistles, people will lap up the new one though and forget about this recent fiasco.

At this point, I like to believe they're cooking/developing a good one that will compete for mind share close to when GTA 6 releases and black ops 7 is just a throwaway product to earn some easy money.

When looking at the product history and the releases it's usually the case anyways but I won't be buying this or the future games.

Well that's absolutely poo because I'm planning on holding it out till the PC version so that means it will be even longer wait but oh well.

@fatpunkslim Exactly and if it's primarily windows based than that will give them a chance to stop doing it even more but if they can give people the option than that would great but money is money, the cloud is their dream ambition and people obviously buy more games digitally compared to physical so let's see how it goes.

With this console, PC, windows hybrid approach I can imagine this may be their chance to stop doing physical media.

I assume that means more bloated games that are designed for everybody which makes people pay for more in game items and the products/games also make subscribers subscribed for longer because of it.

Good luck with that Microsoft, we don't have the time to waste hundreds upon hundreds of hours into games like Fallout 76, Elder Scrolls Online never mind new ones.

Well I agree because of the Asus tax and all that.

I'm putting money aside for a new oled TV so it's a no from me but if I wasn't id be contemplating buying one because it isn't a dedicated Xbox software device that plays every single game that I have purchased over the years.

@carlos82 Most of the time, when people use them, it's a form of stressful emotional support that leads to malicious intent all because the pride, ego and a superiority complex someone has in a game has fallen flat.

It sounds nuts and absolutely pathetic but it's a fact because some people are way too emotionally invested in things unfortunately especially competitively.

More bloat especially with ubisoft games.

With the amount of marketing they do for this compared to the console itself, it just shows they really want to drip feed this cloud garbage onto people so it becomes the norm.

Too much bloat designed to keep the subscription going for longer.

Long live the days of blockbuster when getting the games on disc was like three for £20 and they lasted and appreciated that also didn't waste your time with bloat that you know, keeps you subscribed for longer.
