We've seen our fair share of leaks and rumours surrounding the new Xbox Elite Series 3 Controller, and it looks like another hefty leak has just dropped.

Back in May, we caught wind of the elusive controller when it was accidentally sent to a Brazilian regulator, who shared images of a strange looking Xbox controller believed to be the Elite Series 3.

Well, thanks to some Reddit sleuthing, a member of the r/GamingLeaksAndRumours community has shared a big list of specs, supposedly for the new Xbox Elite Controller via the backend of Xbox Design Lab.

According to the post, it'll feature proper Hall-effect and TMR anti-drift analogue sticks, advanced haptics akin to PlayStation's DualSense controllers, and a bunch of other interesting bits and bobs.

Here's a look at some of the rumoured specs of the Xbox Elite Series 3 Controller:

Feature Description
Hall-effect and TMR sticks Separate module options for standard, loose and tight Hall effect, plus TMR—suggesting a choice of magnetic sensing technology and stick resistance.
Advanced haptics The motor option explicitly names “Impulse Triggers (ERMs) & Advanced Haptics (VCAs) Motors,” suggesting voice-coil haptics alongside trigger vibration.
Audio scroll wheel A dedicated “Audio Scroll Wheel Color” setting points to an integrated audio control wheel.
Faceplate options Metal, named designs, extensive colors and engraving.
Low-friction/Silent sticks A named option with its own silent stick-neck 3D model, alongside standard and long variants.
More paddle designs Model files include standard, classic and doublewide paddles. Configuration choices include short/long paddles, a Butterfly entry and layouts without top paddles.
Performance D-pads Standard, cross and grippy/faceted choices, divided into cosmetic and performance builds.
Accessory combinations Beatrice has 27 mapped topper/paddle configurations.

The leak also claims that the Elite Series 3 will feature four SKUs: two that come with "motors" and two without, as well as Elite Complete and Base packages.

Of course, these are leaks. You know the deal with leaks. We can't verify whether these are legit specifications or not, but if it's caught the attention of Jez Corden, there may be something to it.

In an article for Windows Central, Corden mentions hearing from his sources "that the Xbox Elite Controller Series 3 was imminent for a reveal" and that "Microsoft may want it out in time for Christmas".

So, all things considered, this was a pretty sizable leak that we thought you'd be interested in hearing about.
