At this point they need to. A logical person (not even smart) would know they need to start giving dates after 2022.

Isn't Playground working on Fable currently? Going to be interesting to see how these departures affect that. Massive loss for Xbox for sure in losing all these leads.

Bunch of Muppets. None of these agency's seem interested in the consumers but rather simply focused on the narrative of "We must stop big tech".

I don't belong in the group that say the game was one of the best games of all time, but I definitely do think it's quite a unique game and a good one at that. It's definitely worth a try...

I don't get some of the critical review of this game, particularly Eurogamer who gave it an 'Avoid'. I'm about 80% through the game and the game is quite fun. And I just mean the gameplay side...it feels like a mix of BioShock infinite and something like Outer Worlds with the Sci-fi parts.

Sure the humour is one of those where you either love it or hate it, but still I think the gameplay aspect is good fun

I'm obviously very tired of this topic as most people are but I must say the Valve and Nintendo deals are quite an intelligent play from Microsoft to push it back to regulators and Sony. Don't see how regulators can now bring up the anti-competitive argument with these deals.

It's better than when I played the beta but my goodness after one year this game still feels so unfinished. And on my series X on certain maps I still have visual glitches with the sky and so on.

I'd still rather go back and play BF1 or BF5 or even Battlefront 2 if I wanted my Battlefield fill.

Horizon Forbidden West winning best storytelling? By that same token, Rings of Power should win Best Writing in the Golden Globes.

HFW was my biggest disappointment in terms of gaming this year and there are plenty better stories in games this year.

In Act 2 now and I'm so happy that games like this have a chance to get made. Best looking game I've played all year and it's been an absolute gem.

Has to be Psychonauts 2 for me. Was my GOTY for 2021. Talk about good writing and level design.

Surprised to see some not really getting into Control at all. Then again the game has Remedy's signature weirdness that might not be for everyone.

With this being my first foray into team green, Game Pass has been absolutely fantastic. Not just day one releases but the amount of great indie games being added on here is just gold.

If we're talking hardware specific my Series X beats the PS5 hands down in terms of build quality and best feature has to be Quick Resume

@Hotwhiskey yeah bud. The UI is absolutely horrendous. There is a rumour that they're working on a UI overhaul and blamed working from home challenges for the current state. Hard to believe that last bit.

They really need to fix these bugs in the game first. There's just too many of them.

Had one last night where this guy with a riot shield was invincible. We had 5 guys trying to gun him down but there wasn't any hit markers and he didn't take damage. And you know what happens next, he goes on a 30 kill streak and launches the nuke. Game over.

Definitely a 9,5 for me. Although the performance on Series X on 40Hz was pretty stable. It wasn't perfect and that's where it gets a minus score for me. Then everything else was, if I may say it, Naughty Dog level. Just quality.

For me, I think it will be the software where the price gets an increase. Increasing hardware cost for what is now a 2 year old piece of kit makes 0 sense (that's right you Muppets at Sony).

I wonder if they'll increase their first party Games by 10 bucks and keep the Game Pass costs the same. You know, just to say, "hey look at the insane value of our subscription service".

Think for me it has to be in the following order:

1. COD 4: Modern Warfare (2007)
2. Black Ops 1
3. OG COD (2003)

I'm quite surprised tbh and even more surprised that this is a cross-gen game considering that it is running UE5.

I would've expected current gen only and 30fps since it would be the first full release running on UE5...

I found the power settings quite confusing jumping into Xbox for the first time, so I quite welcome this renaming and also an update to that settings page.

@Fenbops I'll be totally honest with you mate, I started playing Horizon Forbidden West on PS5 a few weeks back, and whilst the game is absolutely beautiful with he world being fantastic, it is an absolute bloated mess of a game. So many unnecessary additions to the game that make it sooo complicated. Also the map is cluttered with map markers nigh on approaching Ubisoft territory.

So give me a fresh new indie styled game. That's my jam nowadays.

Just started playing Tinykin and am having a real blast there.

Also Obsidian games are usually fantastic.

I know this might be weird to say but I'm looking forward to this more than I am to God of War Ragnarök. Getting old I guess....😅

@InterceptorAlpha yup and the players paying a premium when buying the game early to be QA testers.

This game is an absolute blast! In every match I've played there is at least one moment where I've laughed out loud.

A few important mentions have to be this only includes "the fiscal year from Jan 2021" and can't be concluded to be the "each year" revenue that the title suggests.

Also important to note is the fact that this is revenue generated and not net profit. So it would be quite interesting to know what that net profit is and then the amount spent on bringing games to GP.

@XxEvilAshxX yeah bud have to agree with you. I'm typically a sim racer but I dived into FH5 and I must say, FH is a much better arcade racer than all NFS games over the last 10 years put together. So I've got my fill.

While I think some of what they said was hilariously brutal considering Jim Ryan's tantrums, I think there's a lot said here that is pretty sound and generally what I've been thinking. In particular PlayStation market share through exclusives and why the focus should be what it means for the consumers.

Whilst I agree that deals by these tech giants should be scrutinised, I think that as long as games like COD are going to be Multi-Platform, I believe that this deal is good for competition and gives us the customers much more value.

Sony's domination in the last generation has caused them to become extremely anti-consumer and I feel this deal balances the playing field. Not to mention cause them to innovate and offer better deals to the consumers again.

The beta of MW2 wipes the floor clean of the so-called full game that is Battlefield 2042. By the time MW2 comes out, there'll be no one playing BF2042 any longer (not like there are many to begin with 😂)

Still don't understand people thinking that COD will go exclusive. Like it has been said plenty of times before, it makes zero financial sense and more so for the outlay that Microsoft have splashed.

In regards to EA and Battlefield, Andy boy should stop making Shi*t decisions that ruin these franchises in the first place.

The game is good but it's not Arkane's best game. It's at the start too messy and then gets too repetitive. Prey or Dishonored 2 has to be their best.

Much better than 30fps but it isn't smooth. Just tried it out today.

I never played this but remember how big a deal it was back in the day. Will definitely give it a go.

Really don't get the fuss about the online multiplayer. You still get local play and it's much upgraded over the version coming out on switch.

Gun to my head, the first game that comes to mind would be Bully. But I don't think the way the game approached certain topics would not have aged well with the times.

But I agree with some of the sentiments here about enough of remakes/remasters. Tbh even done with sequels, just give us some new IP and looking at the announced games, seems that Team Green has more new IPs coming out. Of course comparing the two platforms since those are the two I play on.

@Tharsman was just gonna say the same. GoW would've have overshadowed some of the GP releases this year, but no chance I'm paying the launch prices on Sony's games.
