@Bleacdemon I'm looking forward to Payday 3 as my multiplayer fix this year but I've got Starfield written all over my weekend this week.

Wow Citizen Sleeper 2 is coming to Game Pass?! That first game was an absolute banger and really happy this is coming out...

I think this is the right move, would have been bad either way but I think at least bringing the game to Xbox with one feature missing for the series S is better than not having the game on the platform at all...

Is this worth playing? Anybody tried it on PC? Heard it looks gorgeous but there isn't much of a hook to the game...

Oh I absolutely love Remedy for doing stuff like this. Getting really hyped for this...

I obviously don't know any of the numbers but this just seem idiotic for Xbox gamers cause this means that now if you ever wanted to stream ABK games, you need an extra Ubisoft+ subscription for it. Why couldn't this deal have just covered the UK and not the world...

@Kaloudz ahhh shame mate. I just gave it a try cause people was raving about it when it released on GP and was super surprised by how good and chill it was. One of those "Power Wash Simulator" type of games

@Kaloudz Tinykin is really worth playing bud. Really chill...I bounced of immortality. I liked the weirdness of the clips but it was just a click fest.

Oh wow! Really huge month. Besides Starfield am also looking forward to Payday 3 and Party Animals. Those looks like a tonne of multiplayer fun.

@UBERSICKO exactly what I was going to say to. I can't be bothered about haptic feedback or even the adaptive triggers on my ps5. Just a gimmick in my opinion

Bought MW1 and MW2, so I don't think I'm going to buy this just too much of an outlay. If the Gulf War COD by Treyarch next year rumour turns out to be true and reviews well, I might pick that up.

@Kaloudz I personally really like it cause of the humour, the cast of characters, the Obsidian-RPG elements that make it so maleable and the world. Heck you can kill everyone in the game, even the main quest givers and still complete the story 😂.

There are some weak points of course like the combat, which isn't bad per se but it isn't great either. Also the RPG systems could've been more fleshed out than just perk points and adding attribute points.

The game is quite concise though so you'll probably finish it in 20h.

@Balta666 totally agree mate. I've also compared them to insomniac when it comes to output and the quality of said output. It's been staggering.

@Kaloudz yeah and to be very fair, I was replaying Outer Worlds on the X last month and think that game looks fantastic even now. So I don't think there'll be any issues with the graphics.

Understand the reaction to the different visuals from the trailers shown but I have no qualms about the quality that Obsidian usually delivers. Has to be one of Xbox's best studios...

BC on Xbox is excellent. One of the reasons why I picked up an Xbox last year. Finally got to playing a lot of games from the PS3/360 era since I didn't have any console back then.

My goodness. Absolutely shafting players on those platforms at that price. I picked it up last year at like 8 or 9 euros and finished playing it recently. Must say it looked great on the Series X cause I think the game got updated for One X back when with 4k resolution...I think.

@sonicbooming personally I wouldn't recommend it but you can still give it a try if you want on GP. My time on it lasted 2 hours. The absolutely terrible dialogue aside (tried in both English and Russian) the gameplay and combat is also god awful. I normally love games where the setting and wolrd building is compelling but there were just too many awful things in this game to keep it going for me.

Oh God! Was away from PureXbox for a couple of weeks and looks like the same plague that struck the comments section at PushSquare last year has made its way here with some absolutely ludicrous fanboy daftness. Oh well unto the next...

I'm being left a bit disappointed with the visuals since the reveal of the gameplay in June. What's been shown/leaked so far does not look as good as GT7 which is a little disappointing considering it's releasing 1.5 years later and is an only next gen release.

Let's see how it is in the final game but initial impressions of the visuals isn't inspiring.

I followed the entire court battle with the FTC cause I found it quite interesting but it's getting really old now...just can't wait for Starfield to come out and be talking about games again.

I am cause I just love RPGs but you know you're getting old when such a large game and learning all these systems daunt you. Not sure if I'll have the time to stick with the game to the end tbh.

@Kaloudz totally! I mean I'm not criticising Others who can afford or want to do it but I just can't justify that cost myself. That's a decent steak where I'm at. 😂

Honestly don't care. MW2 isn't great, although I thought DMZ was quite fun in the first couple of months with some mates.

Definitely not going to shell out money to buy a new one unless it hits Game Pass of course. 😉

I'm very confused with the pricing of this, currently it's 6,99€/month for Live Gold and 10,99€/month for Game Pass Console. So why get Game Pass Core for 9,99/month?

It is just oddly priced. 7,99 would've made a lot more sense.

I was really hyped for it but it has been dampened by their gameplay showing recently. Whilst I think the Car-PG thing might have a little more legs in terms of progression than GT7 does, graphically the game looks a step down from GT7 and that's a little disappointing considering the game has been in the oven 18 months longer than gt7 has been. Also I need to try out fleshes out the driving mechanics are as I'm also not sold on what's been shown or there lack of.

@Smeltos the original RDR was updated for Xbox One X with 4k image quality however at 30 fps. So if you have a series console and play the game, you will get the One X version.

Textures aside, it still a good looking game. Not RDR2 quality of course but for its age, it looks really good.

Yeap really agree. Was a huge fan of the way the Developer Direct was done earlier in the year and would love it to be the standard moving forward. Show 4 or 5 games but go in depth with the developers.

Am not sure about this. IO has done an amazing job in recent years with the Hitman Series and am not sure how that would translate into a fantasy RPG.

Heck even Microsoft mentions it as one of the risks of acquiring IO that, "Company has not been able to ship a successful new original IP since Hitman and has not been able
to repeat its success through its other games such as Kane & Lynch and Mini Ninjas".

Personally don't really care about the exclusivity but more interested to see what they do with the game.

One couldn't even afford a Declan Rice with that amount. 😂

No thank you. Did not like the base game. Clunky controls, terrible dialog and combat. Shame though, really liked the world they made.

@themightyant yeah agreed..in an ideal world, that's how it should be..that each publisher or platform owner bring able to organically make their own IPs work.

On paper PC would be the most universal gaming platform but I'm getting too old to have a gaming rig or laptop and prefer just gaming on my couch so yeah...

@themightyant he might have his biases but I think with the merger, he's bang on. Makes a lot of logical sense and I personally, not because I'm writing on an Xbox site, think the deal should go through. Sony this generation and under the leadership of Jim Ryan has become extremely greedy and complacent which really made me pick up an Xbox last year. And I for one think the added competition might make Sony, hopefully, get rid of Ryan and focus on what made them great in the PS4 era.

@Zoidpilot4 @Kaloudz 😂😂 I'm usually really careful with whose online opinion I listen to considering the amount of rubbish on the internet but after listening to Florian speak on a couple of occasions, I think he is very factual and just makes a lot of fair points.

@Kaloudz yeah mate. I've been following this patent lawyer on twitter (Florian Müller) who has been following the case closely and is in LA at the hearing and he made 2 good points about Jim Ryan:

1. If he was there physically, the Microsoft and Activision lawyers would have absolutely tore him to shreds
2. He is lying to someone for sure, question is, is it his higher ups in Sony or all these different regulators.

@Zoidpilot4 @Banjo- 100%. The fact that he has been lobbying with competition agencies around the world claiming that Xbox is going to make it exclusive and destroy the PlayStation is the epitome of anticompetitive behaviour which strangely the FTC and CMA are defending.

Think when this is over, the US and UK governments need to evaluate the leadership and realign the focus of these agencies.

@Zoidpilot4 many gaming sites simply havent covered it. Be it Eurogamer, VGC...it seems they're more interested in stuff like Indiana Jones going exclusive 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️

But surely not at that price though. If they had priced it at 299... 💥 💥...349 is such an awkward price considering the regular version is almost constantly on discounts.

I dont like this one bit and what really frustrates me is that the price increase for GP only affects console owners, those that have shelled out more money to buy their hardware.

It was the same BS with Sony initially for charging 10 bucks more for the PS5 version of games than the PS4. You just felt completely fleeced by these companies for giving them money for their hardware in the first place.

If they'd closed the ABK deal and were adding those games on there, I would say that it would be fine but increasing the price before the court date tomorrow is increasingly risky if it doesn't work out and they would look very very silly.

@Fenbops precisely! And I think it's more or less the same discussions around the Starfield 30fps point which DF mentions in that Weekly video, that these devices are not the top of the line in computing and graphical power, you want those go buy a PC with a 4090. The PS5 and more so the Series X, I think, are a great piece of kit for the price.
