@Gr81 I couldn't agree more. Booted the game up with the new patch this morning though and it looks pretty good. Need a couple more hours with it before I'm willing to play through it again. Either way that will have to wait until I'm done with Horizon Forbidden West and a ton of back catalog games I'm more interested in.

Out of curiosity I'll try it on my Series S just to see if I'll like the game more. But I doubt I'll dive into it. There's way to many other games I'm hyped for coming soon or just released for me to be bothered. I was kind of hoping for a 3rd person option (like in GTA V).

I bet CDPR are only releasing it now before the end of the financial year. I bet its still a buggy mess. If they really think a nextgen patch can compete with HFW and Elden Ring they're wrong. Lol.

Starfield, Stalker 2, A Plague Tale Requiem and Redfall are my highlights moving forward. If these are the only games on Game Pass I check out this year its still cheaper than buying the games individually. Gotta love it!

I'm not buying any games for myself until Im done with Ghost of Tsushima and Horizon Forbidden West. I've reached a point where it's just too many games and I have to accept I can't play everything day one because I just end up halfassing my playthroughs instead of enjoying the ride.

I picked up Arceus for my gf so I could play Ghost of Tsushima in peace. I'll also be getting my online fix through Halo Infinite as usual. It's gonna be a good weekend!

I'm so tired of long games this is actually good news. howlongtobeat usually gets the right time so I'll wait for that and good reviews before I jump into this game (which is my standard procedure anyways).

@Alduin Same here. Their whole ecosystem is great with game pass as the star but also cloud, backwards gaming and much more.

I agree 100%. The day I have to sign in to google, amazon or meta to play my fsvourite games is the day Ill quit gaming. Glad to see Microsoft on top of this potential problem. Now I just hope Sony and Nintendo comes along and continue to keep the gaming industry and the culture as a whole great and safe.

Financial times have no idea what they're talking about. lol. AB was bought because they wanted to sell, or saw that as the best move going forward to save the company from scandals. This whole deal plays out like s3 of succession. lol.

@pip_muzz I think the challenges are random. I have no BTB challenges on my list this time around. No sidearms either. Sounds like bad luck.

I love it. I absolutely love it. So glad I went in on Xbox this generation. Still got the ps5 and Switch for their exclusives. I use the xbox for everything else.
Microsoft might have saved all these franchises concidering Activision Blizzard tried to sell their brand/games to Facebook first. That would have been a disaster in the gaming industry. Thank you Microsoft!
Fyi. I dont play any of these games personally but the potential for more people joining game pass is huge and thats great (Especially if youre into online gaming and coop like me).

Bought it at launch, found it boring and never started a second playthrough. I'll give it another shot when the next-gen launches. If I still find it boring then I'm done with this game.

Whats great about xbox is that if their exclusives are pushed back they can still stay afloat by putting some cash down for a big hitter to be added to gamepass to hold people over.
Personally I dont care if games are pushed back. Rather have games released when they're done.

Switch: Fire Emblem Three Houses (my fifth playthrough, gameloop is too good).
Recently finished: Platted Spider-Man Miles Morales which I borrowed from a friend. Short story but overall the perfect lenght for 100% completion. I recommend it on sale.

I've had Mass Effect Legendary and Hitman on my wishlist forever. Only reason I haven't bought them is because I've been busy with other games (mostly Halo). Game Pass is such a win I can't even believe it. Matter of fact, my rule for 2022 is to only buy exclusives for PS5 and Nintendo Switch. Everything else is played on Xbox when/if it comes to Game Pass.

The Series S is my first Xbox ever, got it because I was upset about not being able to get my hands on a PS5 at launch. I would never in a million years guess that a year later the Series S would become my main console. I'm even considering buying a Series X, sooner rather than later.

My list is so long this year I don't think I'll have time for everything.

Xbox: Redfall, Elden Ring, Stalker 2, Starfield, Hogwards Legacy.
PS5: Horizon Forbidden West
Switch: Bayonetta 3.

There's also a bunch of other games that are expected this year but haven't received a window for 2022 or set date yet so I won't bother listing them now.

Usually there will also be some unnanounced surprises that I will check out. In short, this year is stacked! So stacked I might miss out on some great games for the first time in forever.

Kind of relieved there's nothing on this list that interests me. I got too many games on my plate right now that I need to finish before Horizon Forbidden West comes out in February.

I've bought 6 games on xbox this year, only played 4 of them. Ive played and finished 53 games on gamepass this year. On Switch and PS5 I've bought 1 game each this year.

Halo got my full attention this weekend. I recently platted Death Stranding DC though. And I got Ghost of Tsushima waiting on me.

I was sure Psychonauts 2 would win best narrative. But it doesn't matter really. It's still a great game and I had plenty of fun with it.

Thanks for listing every award and everybody nominated as well. That show was way too bloated and most of the winners was just mentioned quickly in between other stuff. Nice to scan through a full list like this.

@Chaudy No. It was the same for me until I closed Halo and all other games I had on my quick resume list. Then it popped up to 120-200 mbps.

@themightyant open the game. Press campaign. Choose to download it from there. Then close the game.

Dl went slow but then I closed all my games in the quick resume tab (including Halo). Now its running 125mbps and Im good to go in 17 minutes. ✌️

I love Halo Infinite multiplayer. That is all.

Series S: Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite online. I can't wait for the campaign to drop next week. I'll also try to squeeze in som Tales of Arise.

Switch: This is so random but I've started Fire Emblem Three Houses again (this will be my fifth playthrough). Feels good to be back! I needed something relaxing to balance out the stress of Metroid Dread.

PS5: I'll be earning the platinum for Death Stranding DC this weekend. I only have a few story missions left 💪

Honestly. All I want is separate lists for offline, online and dlc achievements in games.
A time counter for how long I've played the game.
An option to hide games from my achievementlist even if I have unlocked some achievements in them.

I have no predictions but I would love a big game like AC Valhalla or Tales of Arise.

I've been eyeing Tales of Arise but I kinda expect it to come to game pass sometime next year. However, I dont know if I can wait that long as I'm really itching for a new jrpg and I've heard great things about it. Also, I noticed it's much cheaper on Xbox than Ps5 (same bundle). I wonder why that is.

Series S: Halo Infinite (of course), Forza Horizon 5, Flight Simulator GOTY. I said it a while ago and Ill say it again. Xbox releasing these three titles the first year of the next gen is pure genious as these IPs are games I can play for the whole generation.

Nintendo Switch: Metroid Dread (unless my gf decides to kidnap my Switch to play the Pokémon Shield DLCs).

Ps5: Death Stranding DC.

With the black Friday sale going on on all platforms I'm considering buying Ghost of Tsushima DC, Tales of Arise and Monster Hunter Rise. R.I.P. Wallet.

Played through this game once on Series S. Biggest problem? I found the game to be quiet boring. Perhaps it was the lack of cutscenes during conversations. Or just the story itself. I'm not sure. I might give it another playthrough when it comes to gamepass. At least that's what I've been telling myself.
One thing CP2077 taught me though, dont get too hyped for games and never preorder anything. I'm glad I learned this lesson (I'm looking at you gta triology).

I just assumed the game was released too late to be a contender this year. All I know is I love that game and thats all I need really.

@Rural-Bandit Yeah. I haven't played rdr2 myself but I do like how they have separated the online from the campaign. I really wish this would be standard. First time this annoyed me was when I played Black Flag on PS4 (I got in late) and I unlocked all the offline trophies but platting it would be damn near impossible due to the online trophies.
Speaking of Gears of War, Gears 5 achievement list is a mess. Haha.

@Benjamin I agree. I would also love to separate online achievements from the rest. And a timecounter thaut isnt broken by the quick resume feature. I remember seeing som fan made achievement list and it had all these things you mentioned plus more and it looked glorious.

Will some of these also hit Game Pass?

My bet is some popular games will be added to Game Pass today. I got my fingers crossed for AC Valhalla and Tales of Arise even though it probably wont happen. What would make sense though is for Judgment to join Game Pass.
