Since Microsoft owns King. I do wish they would put a King game on the Xbox app instead of that Jewels game you can play for daily points.

Agree 100% with this. I wish they could have a tier that was only games released by studios owned by xbox/microsoft that also had day 1 releases for said games.
Free online or a super cheap option (with maybe other benefits like skins in games or whatever) for it would also be nice.

Do xbox believe people will stop subscribing to gpu because of gta 6? Not everybody plans on playing gta (or gta at launch). Would be nice to have other new games to choose from next holiday season. Lol.

Good question. Games you currently only can get on Xbox: Halo Infinite, Gears 5 and Gears Tactics.
Xbox games you can also play elsewhere:
Hellblade 2, Diablo 4, Indiana Jones, Flight Simulator, Avowed and Starfield.
Games to look forward to: Forza 6, Fable, Gears of War E-Day.

Looking forward to the achievement updates that are already on the way.

If they could separate dlcs and mp achievements that would be awesome. PS already does this for dlc's.

And I dont play COD myself but split the achievements into separate games would be most welcome.

Oh, and like a "showroom" on my profile page with my favourite unlocked achievements, or top 5 rarest and/or 5 games I have 100% would be cool.

I would also like the achievement list to include how many hours/days I have played my games individually (like on Nintendo).

Platinum achievements would be nice. And dlcs and online achievements in separate brackets from the main game ones. Oh, and let me hide game achievements from myself (and not just others).

In all seriousness. Helix makes sense as a project name, but as a product name Prime is probably better (most people know what Prime means, Helix, not so much). Only problem I see with the Prime name is that Amazon already use it for their streamer.

My resolution last year was to drop out of comment sections, dont read or dont write and that was the best decision I ever made. Jumped back in in December for the year summaries but now Im out again.

My bet is Mixtape on GPU shadowdrop.

I ended up skipping all combat encounters except the bossfights. Brilliant game. Top 5 worthy indeed!

Forza could win sports/racing, fable rpg, gow eday action, mixtape indy. All could be goty nominees but win? I dont think so. Not with all the other games lined up for release this year.

I agree 100%. great game and narrative but combat was a drag outside of bossfights.

My New Year Resolution is to play less games. That being said there's currently 31 games on my wish list that havent been released yet. It will be interesting to see how many of them come out in 2025 and even more importantly, how many of them are actually good/fun. I'm very much excited for 2025 though, with game releases, pehaps a new Switch and maybe even an Xbox handheld.
On another note, my other gaming related Resolution is to stop reading comment sections because one thing I have noticed is that every single game I have enjoyed this year have been getting a lot of "hate" online which, even though I try not to care it sometimes does ruin my enjoyment. This also means that I will try to engage less in comment sections myself and try to only focus on reading articles on games I like/is interested in and leave it at that.

Hellblade 2. I know it did well and won awards but it deserved even more.

Just finished the main story yesterday. It is a very enjoyable game. I really felt like I was on an adventure. Fun fun fun!

This weekend I'm playing DQ11 on the Switch and Indiana Jones on Series X. I've put STALKER 2 on hold for now. Its a great game but its really testing my patience at times and I'm not really in the mood for that. On PS5 I'm currently not playing anything but I am considering Rebirth, Infinite Wealth or Silent Hill 2. I might pick up one of them before the sale ends.

As for next year, there's currently 31 games I'm looking forward too. If 1/3 of them actually releases I'll be more than happy with 2025.

I finished BG3, Witcher 3, Starfield DLC, Fractured But Whole, Cyberpunk DLC, CoD 6 Campaign, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Hellblade 1 and Hellblade 2. Currently playing Indiana Jones and STALKER 2.

Agree on all of them except Dragons Dogma 2. Way too buggy on release to deserve a 10/10.

Looking at this list GPU has certainly delivered this year. I had a hard time choosing only 5 games.

I got a nice trifecta going with Stalker 2 and Indiana Jones on Xbox and DQ11 on Switch. My PS5 is MIA for now. Have a good weekend!

Nice. I started playing a couple days ago and havent had any issues. Glad to see the devs hard at work because the world is fantastic and the story is very interesting.
