I enjoyed it but found it crazy that it didnt release with photomode considering how many beautiful vistas and locations there are in the game and no ng+ considering the skilltree and weapon choice. My only complaints in a supersolid game begging for exploration.

Hope this is true. Forza 5 was fine but didnt click with me the same way Forza 4 did. Soundtrack was awesome though!!

My resolution last year was to drop out of comment sections, dont read or dont write and that was the best decision I ever made. Jumped back in in December for the year summaries but now Im out again.

My bet is Mixtape on GPU shadowdrop.

I ended up skipping all combat encounters except the bossfights. Brilliant game. Top 5 worthy indeed!

I know this might sound like a lie but I literally reinstalled Titanfall 2 yesterday to replay over the holidays only to wake up to this terrible news. R.I.P. Vince.

Forza could win sports/racing, fable rpg, gow eday action, mixtape indy. All could be goty nominees but win? I dont think so. Not with all the other games lined up for release this year.

I agree 100%. great game and narrative but combat was a drag outside of bossfights.

My New Year Resolution is to play less games. That being said there's currently 31 games on my wish list that havent been released yet. It will be interesting to see how many of them come out in 2025 and even more importantly, how many of them are actually good/fun. I'm very much excited for 2025 though, with game releases, pehaps a new Switch and maybe even an Xbox handheld.
On another note, my other gaming related Resolution is to stop reading comment sections because one thing I have noticed is that every single game I have enjoyed this year have been getting a lot of "hate" online which, even though I try not to care it sometimes does ruin my enjoyment. This also means that I will try to engage less in comment sections myself and try to only focus on reading articles on games I like/is interested in and leave it at that.

Hellblade 2. I know it did well and won awards but it deserved even more.

Just finished the main story yesterday. It is a very enjoyable game. I really felt like I was on an adventure. Fun fun fun!

This weekend I'm playing DQ11 on the Switch and Indiana Jones on Series X. I've put STALKER 2 on hold for now. Its a great game but its really testing my patience at times and I'm not really in the mood for that. On PS5 I'm currently not playing anything but I am considering Rebirth, Infinite Wealth or Silent Hill 2. I might pick up one of them before the sale ends.

As for next year, there's currently 31 games I'm looking forward too. If 1/3 of them actually releases I'll be more than happy with 2025.

I wonder. Any word on when/if Infinite Wealth will come to GPU?

I finished BG3, Witcher 3, Starfield DLC, Fractured But Whole, Cyberpunk DLC, CoD 6 Campaign, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Hellblade 1 and Hellblade 2. Currently playing Indiana Jones and STALKER 2.

Agree on all of them except Dragons Dogma 2. Way too buggy on release to deserve a 10/10.

Looking at this list GPU has certainly delivered this year. I had a hard time choosing only 5 games.

I got a nice trifecta going with Stalker 2 and Indiana Jones on Xbox and DQ11 on Switch. My PS5 is MIA for now. Have a good weekend!

Nice. I started playing a couple days ago and havent had any issues. Glad to see the devs hard at work because the world is fantastic and the story is very interesting.

I figured this could make it to xbox considering its a Lego game. My kids loved it and I enjoyed the jokes the game made about Horizon Zero Dawn.

Switch: DQ11, just made it to Gallopolis. Absolutely love this game.
Xbox: I finished Fractured But Whole. I plan to unlock some more achievements before retiring it. I also decided to jump back into Control again after finishing the Alan Wake 2 DLC had me itching for more Remedy madness.
PS5: Hunting down the final costumes in my personal GOTY Stellar Blade.

Pretty meh. I've only played 6 games on gamepass and the only day 1 was CoD and Hellblade 2. Anything else was either uninteresting or needed more work (Stalker 2). I cant wait to play Indy next week though!

Why isnt Snoop an embassador for Xbox. Considering how well known and well liked he is this is a huge missed opportunity. He did a good job gaining traction during the Olympics.

Not surprising BG3 got the top spot. What did surprise me was how little I have played on my Xbox this year. That will probably change when Indy, Avowed and more drops.

Xbox: I just finished the first Hellblade game for the second time. It still holds up great, despite the weak combat. The story is just too good to be ignored. I'm also close to finishing Fractured But Whole.
PS5: I'm on my fifth playthrough of Stellar Blade on my quest to pick up the last costumes from the latest patch.
Switch: Really enjoying DQ11. A true GOAT type of game. I can't really explain it but it feels right to play now that Christmas is coming up. Maybe its the music.

Doom and South of Midnight. If Fable makes it then great. Avowed also but thats already confirmed. One game a quarter makes for a fine release schedule I think. Anything else is a bonus.

Might as well drop the whole trilogy when its finished. I would certainly buy it.

Im all for it. Game gives me a Cyberpunk at launch feeling so I'll play the waiting game until its mostly ironed out. Really looking forward to playing STALKER 2 one day though.
