Re: Xbox Game Pass In 2025: The Full List Of Everything Announced So Far

Aniscape

Fantastic list already! And like many others have said Expedition 33 was not only surprise of the show but now my most anticipated game release.

For those that love Turn based RPG. I supported kick stater campaign for Penny Blood (from the makes of Shadowhearts). Still in development but another potentially great RPG if you are interested. There is also a Wild Arms spiritual successor called Armed Fantasia coming as well!

Re: Prince Of Persia Dev Explains Why Sands Of Time Remake Is Still Two Years Away

Aniscape

When you look at excellent remakes like Shadow of colossus, Resident Evil, Demon Souls, and the phenomenal remaster that feels like a remake Metroid Prime. You got to do it right. I will gladly wait till 2026 as 2025 is already starting to get full for me. Expedition 33 just stole my heart!

So many excellent games, anything less will just be forgotten in the sands of time

Re: Eight New Game Pass Titles Announced At Xbox Games Showcase 2024

Aniscape

@CutchuSlow
Agree! Expedition 33 is the JRPG turn based game i have been wanting since PS2 360 era! I see elements of Lost Odyssey, Legend of Dragoon, Shadow Hearts, for offense mechanics and for defense i see Tsugunai Atonement a classic PS2 game! Besides Fable this is the game i am most looking forward to in 2025!

Re: Talking Point: What Convinced You To Pick Xbox In The First Place?

Aniscape

Original Xbox for me. I love games and another system to game is all it took. I have no brand loyalty i look for the games i want to play and that is it. I am a console player. My PC is for finances and surfing…much less surfing now that we have smart phones 🤓

Games like Fable, Azurik, Buffy, Darkwatch, Blood Omen 2, lord of the Rings third age, knights of the old republic, and Sudeki helped round out that generation for me. 360 i got when Oblivion came out with collecters edition and the rest is history.

Re: Bethesda Is Working On More Features For Starfield, Including 'All-New Ways Of Traveling'

Aniscape

I saw somewhere that a Ship Building career mod was added. Allows you to take on job requests to built specific spaceships for clients based on their needs. Then you could actually chance upon them in space. With such a big part that ship building is in the game i would love to see something like this added. Also, naming all the solar systems would be nice. You could turn them on and off like in the powers menu. Love the game but so much can be made better.

Re: Talking Point: One Month On From Launch, How Are You Feeling About Starfield?

Aniscape

So…it seems like Starfield has it’s hooks in me. The over arching story beyond the first play through really has me questioning the type of person i want to be in the universe and what these choices will mean in years to come. Besides that the exploration and building whether it is ship or outpost or just taking on side quests is like a comfort zone when i just want to relax and un stress after a long day or week. I have tried playing other games but after a few hours i keep coming back to Starfield. I am sure at some point i will pause my time in this elaborate universe that was created but have not hit that threshold yet. Is it perfect…no. The more i play the more i see areas of improvement or would be nice if there was more. But regardless for me personally i wanted a universe to dive into and i have that. Each person is looking for their own reasons to play or continually play a game and different for everyone. If asked the question if there was one game you could take with you to a deserted island right now this would be the one for me.

Re: During Development, Bethesda 'Nerfed' How Much Damage Planets Could Cause In Starfield

Aniscape

What we need is a suit/weapon set system that maybe can be stored in your ship. Depending what you are doing you can grab the appropriate set instead of trying to do a load out that is good for anything that can happen. Exploring can have its own sets, hunting pirates another and so one. Have like a suit locker on the ship with the different loadouts that can be saved and upgraded as you find or make better gear for each set. This would make the different biomes and danger a lot more fun to mange then trying to keep it all on your personal inventory and getting encumbered after picking up 1 pistol.

Re: Phil Spencer Issues Statement In Response To Massive Xbox Leak

Aniscape

I am not sure if this has been stated but this feels like it might be intentional on Microsoft side. Like here are these things we are thinking about let us slip it out and feel out the community response to these possible scenarios. This way they have a wide range of critical feedback to help them gage the potential release. For example many are excited about the controller so they can move forward with the controller. However other items that gets the most negative or disinterested comments they can re-work or say it was a leak and not really in the planning as it was internally communicated. In the end i think this will help Microsoft move forward with better options for their fans.

Re: Talking Point: Xbox Fans, How Do You Find Time For All These Amazing 2023 Games?

Aniscape

@BaldBelper78 “ Sea of Stars is superb.”
I have no doubt! I played the demo and enjoyed it and will play this when the time comes. Starfield is the game i have been waiting for to have the experience of living my own sci fi adventure!

My anxiety of having the main story spoiled had me kinda rush a bit but i am glad I did. Now I am in the new game plus and slowing way down and truly enjoying the sites and world that has been created! Very excited to truly explore at my own pace 😊

Re: Talking Point: Xbox Fans, How Do You Find Time For All These Amazing 2023 Games?

Aniscape

Normally i am jumping around and hard to stick to any of these new games. I really want to play sea of stars and lies of P! However, since I started Starfield things have become easier. Unless something changes in the coming months i will be playing Starfield and pick up new games starting in 2024. Only exception is FFX14 i need to log in regularly so I don’t loose my home 😏

Re: Todd Howard Explains Why There Aren't Any Land Vehicles In Starfield

Aniscape

I am up for having options and land vehicles could be great. However, even on skyrim I rarely used a horse due to the way it was implemented. Anything you see you would need to get off and pick up or get into random battles. They would have to introduce a whole new other system for scanning and picking things up leaving the vehicle behind to go checkout a cave or mine or what have you. But with the boost pack everything around you is at your fingertips tips and though i am still early looks like there are skills that would make it even more fun to traverse with the pack. That being said an exoskeleton would work great like Death Stranding with not only helping you traverse but increasing what you can cary. Looking forward to how the game feels towards the and post the main story ending as you unlock more skill’s compared to how it feels at the beginning. 😊

Re: Starfield Players Warn Of 'Major' Bug And How To Avoid / Fix It

Aniscape

I got my first ship on the surface of a planet. After killing the pirates i sat in the captain chair and it added to my roster (since on the surface it automatically made it my home ship). I then went to landing spot and went into frontier and sat in the chair. Went to menu and made Frontier my home shop again. Got a message that i have an unregistered ship. And next time i am in spaceport i can register if I want to make changes. So I went and flew Frontier to Jemison spaceport and was able to register then sell. Although registration was expensive and only made a couple thousand on the sale of the ship it appears you do not have to fly it to a port to sell it or register it. Hope this helps stay away from the bug 😊

Re: Starfield: All Traits, Best Traits And How To Remove Traits

Aniscape

So I picked Kids Stuff and Dream Home. I love Kids Stuff, don’t want to spoil anything but this is a lot more than just visiting your parents. Highly recommend!

Also for Dream Home the cost at least for me is $125,000.00 credits. However you have to pay this in full! If you want to use the home until you have enough credits to buy it you pay weekly installments of $500.00 interest only 😜

I am happy with both Traits!

I am living the space dream. What an amazing game! 🥰

Re: Original Xbox 'Plug-And-Play' Adapter Delivers HD Gaming This October

Aniscape

Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo and Sega need to follow what Atari just did. The 2600 with original look and function that can play the original cartridge/discs with all the modern day HD in place at a decent price point that way all the games I already own can work on it. Not only will it make physical media more desirable if developers want they can still make games for it. Saving gaming history by allowing modern day upgrade to the original console model. And for Atari both 2600 and 7800 cartridges work on the machine with only a small number that don’t. Anyway…my 2 cents

Re: Early Access Players, What Are Your First Impressions Of Starfield?

Aniscape

I just got that Bethesda feeling! So I just got to Jemison and decided to pick a spot and land before going to meet with Constellation. To see what exploration would be like. And wow! I step off the spaceship and start scanning. Find some places in the distance worth checking out, come across an abandoned mine and some life signs of what appears to abandoned surveyor tents. Fight some hostile wildlife. After about 30 minutes i sit back and really look at what is around me and i could literally spend hours in just this area of the planet. Just like in Fallout or Skyrim when you decide to go off the beaten path and think to myself this is just 1 planet and my wanderlust and thirst for adventure goes through the roof!

I had to stop and get back into orbit so i can get ready to go to New Atlantis and go see what Constellation is all about. However i can tell you I am hooked. I will be playing this for a long time and can’t wait to see where the story is going and what fantastic crazy adventures I find along the way. Just Wow!

Re: Early Access Players, What Are Your First Impressions Of Starfield?

Aniscape

Just got to first major city and started exploring a bit before heading to main quest objective. For those worried about the mini map have you been using your scanner? It helps me find things and areas around along with a cool lit path to next objective of active quest.

Bethesda games do not have minimaps so I wasn’t expecting one here but the scanner is a huge help!

Oops…forgot. Loving it so far but will not play more till Sunday. Helping daughter move into her first Apartment in Philly and we are driving up from North Carolina! I am already jonesing!

Re: Starfield Console Mod Support: Are Mods Coming To Xbox?

Aniscape

I always have a non modded gameplay file as my main file to play and continue playing with DLC. So for me modding is still a ways out for sure. With Skyrim and Fallout for (for console) there was a lot of great mods including gaming mods. I just hope with Starfield they expand on the storage. I believe 5 gigs was the cap on xbox.

Regarding paying for mods i never had too. They do offer that but as an option.

If they do the same for Starfield and expand the storage cap then should be great.

I always look for story content mods to add to the ever growing lore of the games and the mod community are always awesome and look forward to that!
