When i saw Scarlet I instantly thought it was a Pentiment DLC, very similar style.

Definitely Hellblade 2 gameplay at the awards together with February/March release date. Anything else is bonus stage.

Well, when Phil made that statement nobody expected the PS Showcase would be so mediocre and low on first party content. Nobody cares who is the first in the console wars but of course we need Xbox to sell as many consoles as possible so that it is sustainable and we don't have another Dreamcast situation. We can already see the tides are turning after the Xbox Showcase. They just have to deliver.

@Tharsman I hope you are right, I loved Pentiment.

Good times for us Xbox gamers. I just hope they don't forget smaller scale titles like Pentiment and HiFi Rush.

@Banjo- Definitely the greatest anti hero ever, Solid Snake. I like this kind of flawed personality. Gordon Freeman. Larry "Kent sent me" Laffer. I can't remember any female cause as I said usually they are too perfect for my liking.

@Banjo- Yeah you're absolutely right. I vouch for Fatal Frame although I'd argue that even with a male character, seeing ghosts do all kind of stuff in first person is scary enough on it's own.

@Banjo- I imagine this will be the case, but the choice for the trailer says something. I'll be sad if I won't be able to chose her from the start.

I want to add it's refreshing seeing a female protagonist without perfect "specs" should I say. I'm tired of perfect bodies and faces in gaming. She is immediately more likeable.

@themightyant Many games use dynamic camera. Resident Evil remakes for example when you get bitten or when you counter with the knife. What's more conspicious is the blur of the heroine evading the giant. Still, very impressive either way.

Some of these are pretty. As always, we who live outside the three countries are children of a lesser God.

Lots of interesting titles. Bookwalker, Go Mecha Ball, Little Kitty Big City, Harold Halibut and many more. All on Game Pass, starting this June? Great times for us indie lovers.

As long as it is great who cares? I for one love the cinematic feel of 30fps and believe it suits this game.

@KaijuKaiser If you watch Ninja Theory's video about Project Mara you'll see that they can pull it off, they've built some impressive tech for graphics. They always had impressive presentation, imagine now with Microsoft's backing.

4 hours in and loving it. I like the new mechanics, the generator, the central hub, the guns, the puzzles, the setting. The only thing that I don't like from what I've seen so far is the monster.

Every gameplay video of Starfield is in 30fps, I don't think it's reasonable to expect 60fps. Which is fine by me, I prefer 30fps, more cinematic in my opinion.

First I'll play Amnesia but I've heard good things about Hypnospace so I'll check it afterwards.

I can't wait to start it. I've played all the Amnesia games in the previous days and loved them all. Thanks for the spoiler free review, it's very rare these days.

There's no way Hellblade 2 will come this year. I'd say first half of 24.

Hellblade 2 early 2024 release, Indy game, Project Mara, something from ID. And definitely fewer prerendered trailers. Either way, with so many studios they own , it's going to be a blast. I can't wait.

30 fps is the least of the problems here. The first thing they should fix is the AI, particularly the human. Then all the glitches.

@Fenbops Really? I got bored and closed it after the Director Override or something like that. If it gets better I could try again.

@Tharsman American Nightmare is an arcade game with Alan Wake in it. Score based shooting and very addictive but very light on story. I'd rate it 10/10 for what it is.

@Cashews Well if you need to ask questions then you already know the answers. I'd say stick with Ps, if you needed an Xbox you'd know it. But I promise you this. The Xbox show will blow your mind.

It's a 9 for me and the last good Remedy game. The formula became stale after that.

They are all perfect but I prefer the Series gamepads.

Day one for me, love anything related to animals.

@Kaloudz Braid is the poster child for indie games. It was the game that kickstarted the trend in Xbox live. Great game, the final level is a masterpiece of story/gameplay fusion. Jonathan Blow created another gem also, The Witness.
