Solace State is a narrative visual novel cyberpunk game arriving this summer

Wordless is a 2D action platformer coming to Xbox this fall

Mythforce debuts this September, a first-person melee roguelike game

Stray Souls was probably my favorite surprise, but there was a lot to like here. I got lucky that I didn't log on until 2/3 of the show was over so I got to skip to just the trailers.

But Akira Yamaoka in Stray Souls and Yasunori Mitsuda in Sea of Stars makes me really happy to know that Japanese musicians are starting to work with western developers.

Great showcase! A lot of the games looked cute (or scary).

Everspace 2 looks fantastic, same with Sea of Stars.

Kareteka is a huge highlight to me. Sea of Stars and Wordless are the other two that have me interested.

When i saw Scarlet I instantly thought it was a Pentiment DLC, very similar style.

Am I the only one who thinks that Stray Souls looks - and has always looked - ropey as hell? I get it, it's indie... but this game is seriously punching above its weight and hitting nothing but air.

Lots of good looking titles there! Shame theres so few hits on this article compared with the ABK news stories, probably says something about human nature.
Everspace 2 is definitely one Im quite excited for. Im advised its changed a lot since the first one...
