I have terrible lag in antstream. Some games like Pinball Fantasies are unplayable. I connect wirelessly to a 100 fiber line. Does anybody else have the same problem?

I got it on the original white 360, three or four years after I bought it. And I used the blanket method to extend it's life as much as I could. Then I bought the black one with bigger hard drive and used the transfer cable. The times...

@ActionPanther you seem like the kind of person who only plays AAA games. The Indies and AA of Game Pass are excellent. Have you played any of the older AAA titles?

@Titntin shame list 😂 I liked that. Yeah, I remember it being ok up until the third level. Then after the dodge and parry mechanics were introduced it became very addictive. And the level design is top notch.

@Titntin It gets better after the third level, the seventh being my favourite. Lots of great bosses too.

@SacredPYRO I feel you man. 47 hours and haven't done anything significant, mostly exploring planets and facilities.

@Kaloudz @GamingFan4Lyf With all due respect, Anniversary is atrocious. All the original magic is lost on that one. The grid based traversal is gone, environmental scale is gone. Just no.

The first two are some of the best games ever. I look forward to playing them again, especially the first. The anniversary edition was lackluster.

@Tharsman It reminds me of Shadow Complex, which wasn't exactly pretty, even for it's time. I don't think the 3d graphics suit the contra series.

@Titntin Why is it too late? I'd argue it's the beginning of this generation since so far we've been playing mostly last gen games. And third place is not bad in the lucrative business of gaming. It's not like a healthy base of Xbox users doesn't exist.

@Kienda That was always the main allure of Xbox. From football teams to electronic brands, lots of people, me included, like the underdog nature of something.

20 hours in it's a tenner. Very ambitious game. Ten does not equal perfect, there's no such thing.

That's good to hear. I've played it for 40 hrs and left it to play again after it was fixed. It will never be a great game but I like the art style/atmosphere and combat with vampires.

@Kaloudz no, that's what i meant, the pov thing is just my take if they go down the first person route. In the end I think it will be one level third person exploration, another level first person puzzle etc. Whatever suits that part of the story. And I prefer this approach than another Uncharted clone. The good news is that most Indiana Jones games, all the way from the first 8 bit attempts, are ace. And I think this will be too.

@Moonglow what about first person traversal/beat em up? Like a Mirror's Edge/Breakdown hybrid.

@Kaloudz @Cherip-the-Ripper They've mentioned before that it will be a mixture of genres. Personally I think it will be like the Ocean movie conversions of the 80s, eg every level different genre. At least I hope so, I don't want it to be like Uncharted, never liked it.

@Kaloudz From what I've gathered so far it will be the total opposite.

I've played 3 matches the other day. It's good, scarier than Dead by Daylight because the environments are full of corridors and claustrophobic. But DBD is more entertaining and has great variety. I don't know if a game of that kind, based on one franchise only can be sustainable.

@RetroMan71 I prefer to play on the original machines too. Today I received some Amiga/C64 games I bid for on eBay. But I also love having them on a unified dashboard with their artworks and info and leaderboards as you said. The price is a steal.

@dmcc0 Oh man! Some great titles you mentioned there. Sensible soccer is the best footy game ever. Cannon Fodder, addictive as hell. Speedball, I wonder if we'll be able to play online 2 player, that would be neat. And of course Pinball Dreams/Fantasies! Seriously guys, try them. Even if you don't like pinball you'll love them, best pinball games ever.

@NorthwestEagle I knew you were going to mention this kind of titles. Thank god this is not the case here. You can find all these games you mentioned in all kind of platforms/packages. Personally I'm tired of the same old japanese collections. They're not the be all end all of gaming. The point is to find some obscure or games you don't know. Some examples from what I've seen so far. Mega lo mania, addictive strategy. All the Alien Breeds, top down shooters, very popular back in the day. Cadaver, isometric action adventure. Kick off 2, the best two player game of the 80s. Jack the nipper. Skidz, very difficult but charming arcade. There are many great games in there and I haven't checked the whole list, I want to be surprised when I'll sit down to play.

@NorthwestEagle It has many great titles, especially if you are into 8/16 bit home micros. I'll try the one year option first but if they play well I see me going for the lifetime subscription.

This list reminded me of Aces of the Galaxy. I bought it back in the day and never played it. Then, some years later, I tried to play it but couldn't get past the main menu, input was not working. I found out that I could play it from another account but not mine. Weird.

@Total_Weirdo Thanks mate, I'm still using it. Truth be told, I'm spending more money on Amiga and C64 than on Xbox these days 😁.
