Because Mr. Moneybags Phil Spencer telling everyone to do whatever because GamePass will bankroll everything isn’t to blame, neither is Matt Booty doing less than nothing as head of studios. Nope! It’s all the evil, lazy devs taking advantage of this underdog (trillion-dollar) corporation.

@ILuvGames I thought the plan was that all MP and live-service type games will be multiplatform still, but E-Day doesn’t count as multiple people here told me. It’s fine because I have a Series X, but it’s odd to see something go against a new policy so quickly

@BacklogBrad I’ve never understood how a totally open ecosystem would have ever benefited Xbox, especially considering how badly they need both software and hardware sales right now. Is Microsoft getting a cut of every game purchased from Steam, Epic, GOG, JAST, etc.?

Great! Xbox has the most inconsistent download speed ever, sometimes even slower than my Switch. As fast as 460 Mbps and as slow as 0!

@Sindayl @ZYDIO IIRC one can’t even use an Xbox Series console without a Microsoft account. And if someone already has an account banned, creating another might count as ban evasion and get nuked as well.
