Re: Splitgate 2 Is Going 'Back To Beta' Amidst Job Losses And Server Closure For Splitgate 1

@DarthAmmii i couldn’t agree more. we need xbox360 era like games back again. single player with CLASSIC (online) multiplayer or co-op/ or single player only. live service ruins both single player and multiplayer games 👎 everyone’s just chasing the next fortnite shooter with microtransactions and GARBAGE “battle pass” and seasonal skins , it’s so garbage now.

go back to making creative games with lore and add multiplayer if it fits the game with no live service & season bs or battle pass garbage

Re: Talking Point: To Celebrate Bungie Day, What's Your Favourite Halo Memory Of All Time?

nomither6

Favorite halo memory is experiencing halo CE for the first time since it was the last bungie halo i played (H3 being the first); i really liked the campaign and late 90s silliness the game had despite being an early 2000s game. all the weapons we’re ridiculously powerful, the enemy ai is amazing, the levels are super atmospheric and the game still has the best introduction of the flood to date. reach is my overall favorite halo though - content and all, except i thought the campaign was underwhelming but still better than H3 campaign.

With that said though, i’m getting jaded seeing all the halo nostalgia on social media lately, it’s becoming more depressing and longing for the past more than reminiscing or homage. the climate of xbox & halo today doesn’t help that depressing feeling either; i wish we had new exciting good things today that we can make for fond nostalgic memories tomorrow. tired of the bleak present

@DaveTheRave it’s not the 90s - early 2010s anymore. your assertion is wildly outdated 😂 PC gaming is on the verge of becoming a monolith - games from all brands except nintendo(excluding emulation of course) and multiple ways to play them, free online, superior hardware and performance, superior deals, mods, emulators etc and it’s easier than ever to get into. it’s a gaming paradise 😂

Re: Reminder: The Xbox 360 Is Surprisingly Decent For Backwards Compatibility

@smoreon agreed.

also gonna play devils advocate here in defense of spotify - i’d say that’s more of a digital vs physical argument. i got a big library of music on spotify (premium so no ads) & the conveniency and versatility of it is a godsend. even my 360 and ps3 has a mostly digital library. basically what i’m saying is, id still consider holding onto something digitally as keeping it around

if that makes sense… 😆
