@Lrapsody yes , great introduction & great ending, they did an excellent job characterizing chief, the game is the pinnacle of showcasing chief as a lone wolf , the production values were top notch, the covenant were badass in this game; the atmosphere was also oppressive , surprisingly dark & moody in a good way. Halo 4 has its own aura and distinction that makes it stand out from other games.

only flaw is prometheans & the relationship with cortana had its weird moments

i believe ppl hate on halo 4 because people love piggybacking opinions instead of having their own. its never about what YOU think, always what’s “the cool thing” to say

@Trmn8r i’m sorry man, but halo 3 aged like milk. i put CE ahead of it because the guns in CE are better, and aside from the library i think CE has overall better levels than 3. Halo 3 MP guns are so weak , it feels so unsatisfying using anything other than a battle rifle or sniper rifle

The best generations in gaming were always when consoles were trying to do outdo eachother, i mean sure the ps4 was great but that generation as a whole was no 7th or 6th gen - i hope Xbox finds its footing. i’ll always have a special place for all three brands that have made gaming so fun for me

still using the xbox360 controller to this day. have no desire for their modern fragile, flimsy, overly angular & geometric controllers with the worst drifting gamings ever seen.

@dkxcalibur they should have remastered the full trilogy and put it out on ps5; there’s no way any gears game tops the trilogy imo. it’s a huge missed opportunity to only release the first game as a first impression to a new audience in 2025.

@BAMozzy the ai teammates are so frustrating in these games, try gears of war 3 final boss on insane, it was obviously made for 4 human players because trying to beat queen myrah solo is ******* impossible with how useless the bots are.

completed it a bunch of times back when it released on the xbox one, i loved helping people in co-op on insane difficulty.

I beat the original again on my xbox360 (for old times sake) i think last year?? i love the original look of the game , the drab & moody grays and browns with muted colors really fits the game.

@Kaloudz i highly suggest the first game only. It’s a very unique, spooky, & fun game. i was just like you , it took me over 10+ years to finally try bioshock. i tried 2 right after 1 and immediately didn’t like it.

Will they finally make a Bioshock that’s better than the first game?

@101Force and free online! 😃 PC is amazing, you won’t regret it! it’s 99% an Xbox anyway with everything you have on console present on PC via Xbox app/Windows. Plus, pc controller support is great, i never use keyboard and mouse to play games on it. It’s hard going back to console when almost every game releases on PC and with better performance and all of the benefits of PC

Rechargeable batteries is the way to go. i’ve never had a controller with a built in battery permanently die on me yet. Hell, i’ve never had any device with a built in battery permanently die.

As long as 343 is in charge , i seriously doubt a new halo will ever reach the highs of 3 and reach. i’m hoping they just port the MCC to playstation. If the rumors are true about a CE remake, they’ll just 343-ify it 🤮

Make Xbox Live free. Xbox used to be pioneers of the industry they could rekindle that title with killing off an outdated practice

@ValentineMeikin nintendo can’t afford to do what $ony or M$ does by putting their games on other platforms anyway. if nintendo “wins” a “console war” then it’ll be short lived as PC will see the biggest growth it’s ever seen because i can’t imagine an industry with only nintendo as a “‘main” console 🤮 that would be horrible.

@RagnarLothbrok PC is pretty future proof and appealing these days, you wont regret it. especially since Xbox is already integrated into it, so you almost literally still have an xbox (that can also play PS games and emulate some nintendo games 😃)

@DarthAmmii i couldn’t agree more. we need xbox360 era like games back again. single player with CLASSIC (online) multiplayer or co-op/ or single player only. live service ruins both single player and multiplayer games 👎 everyone’s just chasing the next fortnite shooter with microtransactions and GARBAGE “battle pass” and seasonal skins , it’s so garbage now.

go back to making creative games with lore and add multiplayer if it fits the game with no live service & season bs or battle pass garbage
