@Drsnover Sonic 06 was on the Xbox360 store before it shut down; i bought it digitally . It’s janky as hell, super janky , but damn it’s a cool ass sonic game imo (minus the infamous kissing). i prefer sonic games like this over frontiers. i miss the adventure style so much

• I’m sure that’s not a coincidence , haha 😂 & Ghost and Elden ring aren’t my type of games , albeit i never played them but i just don’t i’d vibe with those souls type games. i’m more into hack n slash games of that genre like the classic god of war games & Metal gear revengeance, or the classic assassin creed games

also indies came a long way , kinda crazy that they’re still considered indies . wouldn’t they be called AA now ? like astrobot for example.

@Dalamar73 i wish the industry would go back to making “smaller” AAA games. reduce the emphasis on cinematic crap & graphics and utilize the power of modern consoles elsewhere like amazing gameplay, physics , level design , etc . i’m perfectly fine with 12-20 hour games , or however long they used to be. i actually hate when games dont know when to end and/or take too long to get going . i think it’s better to have SEVERAL 12-20 hour games to play vs that one AAA 40+ hour game every 6 years .

@K1LLEGAL the 360 is slow now because microsoft kept trying to push modern updates on it that squeezed out every bit of its cpu that it could offer id presume. just like how (older)iphones get slower overtime as apps get more modern updates and new iOS updates

i bet if there was a way to reverse updates on it back to the blades or NXE dashboard it would be fast again . i’ve hated the dashboard ever since the kinect came out ; the pre-2010 dashboard was much better

i recently went back to it because of how mediocre this generation is. call me weird but i love the feel of the 360 controller & love the design more. it’s why i bought the hyperkin xbox360 controller to use on modern hardware.

it’s an amazing console that was a huge part of everyones lives gaming, and offered so much whether it be games or just endless entertainment . 7th generation as a whole (ps3/360/wii) is the best console generation imo & that’s not just nostalgia talking . imagine a console generation that struck the sweet spot between what made 6th generation great and took a bit from 8th generation - that’s pretty much 7th gen. whereas 8th generation leaned more towards the crap state of gaming now

i have the trilogy on pc and only started san andreas , but could never finish it so didn’t bother with the rest. it’s just too outdated and boring

@Markatron84 it’s weird that i keep associating the kinect more with the xbox one than the 360 , but at least kinect on 360 was still when ms was focusing on games . the kinect with xbox one was all about tv

@DEATH2SONY the gamecube was the best platform to play sonic games and even had exclusive sonic games, so if you were/are a fan of sonic you kind of missed out (at that time) . not that it matters anymore though

@HonestHick the xbox one did irreparable damage to xbox that it can never come back from. they had so much momentum with the 360 and just completely lost track of what made it great . sony kept focusing on games and pumping out exclusives while ms just got comfortable and gave up

360 was better in every way & still the greatest console of all time. I’ll never get over how much joy the 360 brought me, online gaming really took off.

@IOI as much as i prefer all games on all platforms ..i agree. exclusives really are needed for specific platforms. i’ve been almost exclusively pc this gen & that’s not willingly either. it’s just hard to boot up a console these days

@ParsnipHero Thats actually possible. PC has controller support for virtually all controllers, just plug an HDMI to your PC from your TV, and open steam in big picture mode. big picture mode lets you navigate steam entirely with a controller.

@Banjo- Theyre too focused on Gamepass and Activision. Tbf i would’ve accidentally looked over smaller studios as well if i acquired basically the largest most popular one in all of gaming. Microsoft basically bought the industry 😂

@Bleacdemon hot take but black ops 4 has the best call of duty gameplay & should have had better recognition for it. It’s peak COD gameplay/gunplay wise , the movement/shooting etc is all excellent . people really sleep on it , it’s crazy

@Banjo- did you have the wave bird controller to go with your wave race copy? everyone knows the true wave race experience is 4 player wavebirds 😆 . & i wouldn’t know about the n64 predecessors since that’s before my time. from what i hear , it seems that gamecube has better sequels of its predecessors anyway ...except maybe goldeneye…and mario sunshine…

@Banjo- ah yeah i forgot about waverace! i feel like im missing more , its been awhile & im just not a mario/zelda person. pokémon was fun for a while but i grew away from it. and are you talking about that snowboarding game on the gamecube ? i’m not familiar with it .

i literally just have a switch for smash bros & mario kart . nintendo has sucked since after the wii.
