really liking this new approach xbox is taking tbh. play anywhere with your same xbox account, purchases and friends list is great

@jesse_dylan people like me that missed out on some games , and some hidden gems? then there’s games like Midnight Club LA, Fight night champion, army of two & other fun co-ops, and other games that they don’t make anymore , or games not available to play on later gens like GTA4/MGS4. couple in some original versions are better than “remasters” and reboots, so, yea. As time goes on i believe the threshold between what’s “too old and outdated” will diminish if it isn’t already , because 7th gen has aged really well and the games are really good . X1/PS4 games will still be played decades from now along with SX/PS5

Also as someone who has a PC too - PC players play across multiple gens all the time

@NeoRatt i don’t disagree with you , but i believe they do it because it’s where the money is with less development time and cost to boot. i’m not defending the state of the industry though, it sucks, and bu$iness matters more than making good games nowadays. its shareholders before gamers

just adjust your monitor/tv settings ; you’d be surprised just how much prettier you could make a game look yourself . i like to desaturate my games with strong black/white contrast , and for games like forza i just switch my screen settings to “racing” on my monitor

they made a good game , they should be proud now it’s on their resume forever. studios getting closed is just business. at least they weren’t fired because they sucked at their job, that’s worse because it could’ve been demoralizing

Anyone who thinks it’s gonna live up to the originals is delusional ; it could be better than 4 & 5 at best , but what i personally want from a gears of war game in 2024 , is just not “up to date” or with the times.

better than them trying to make a 6th game . please bring gears of war back to its roots although i still doubt this will be as good as the trilogy
