Re: Gears Of War Creator Thinks 'The More, The Merrier' In Regards To Getting Gears On PS5

gears of war needs all the help it can get . make a master fenix collection for all platforms and release a new one only on xbox. multiplayer/co-op/single player all in one is something i miss so much . it’s either full blown live service trash or full blown interactive movie open world bloat now. gears of war should be thriving in todays climate with things like streaming being big but it’s not

Re: Talking Point: In Your Opinion, What Made The Xbox 360 Era So Incredible?

nomither6

the fact that we all still talk about it 2 generations later.

the xbox360 was an essential part of my adolescent years and was more than a console gen, it was an EXPERIENCE!

hands down MY personal favorite/best console of all time, and objectively the second best console after the PS2. but i have to give it to the wii and ps3 too, 7th generation as a whole was a bold generation that still had that touch of 6th originality and new IPs and ideas.

@TJ81 with all the social media platforms and how easy it is to communicate , it’s crazy to me why devs/teams never just talk to their fans . it seems like it’s always done through a podcast with scripted interviews . they could even just make polls of “what do you want to see in the next game” and “what don’t you want to see”

maybe sequels would be better than predecessors ALL the time then

@HonestHick couldnt agree more, thats a damn solid 5 games. ive been eye'ing helldivers 2, even though i dont know jack about it lol. its something new and interesting though, especially being a sony IP and all since theyre track record for a while has been cinematic third person games. theres also tekken 8, have you ever tried fighting games?

Re: Xbox's Next Console Will Feature The 'Largest Technical Leap Ever' In A Generation

@NeoRatt ironically 7th generation was still the biggest leap in gaming of all time in every aspect. even more than the n64.

the OG PS3 was well worth its price - bluray player with bluray games, AV and HDMI support, packed in wireless rechargeable controller with gyro, built in wifi connectivity, spacious harddrive, memory card slots with native BC allowing it to play 3 generations of games in one, the first all-in-one media machine, 4 usb ports - all of this in 2006 is pretty freakin next gen

Re: Here's What The Reviews Are Saying About Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered

nomither6

honestly what i got from this is that if someone wants to genuinely play the classic in its full original glory with just updated visuals - this game is it . so i think it’s a 10/10 for that alone & i believe that some people actually like “remasters” to be as 100% authentic as possible to the original (with just better frame rate and graphics) , and nothing else . if people want otherwise , i thought that’s what “remakes” were for like tomb raider anniversary ??

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (February 10-11)

nomither6

Re: Killer Instinct Testing Out Ranked Crossplay (Xbox, Windows & Steam)

nomither6

can they just make it free , lol. they fooled me on PC , i thought the game was free but it was just one character playable & they fooled me several times in the past on Xbox one when i thought it was free 😂 the game looks cool but i don’t think it’s worth paying for because of other fighting games and the time investment

Re: 343 Hires New Art Director To Lead 'A Very Exciting New Era' For Halo

nomither6

halo reach had the best art and future direction that halo should’ve stayed on . 4 was fine but the artstyle and enemy types strayed too far from halo thematically imo. i never read the novels or any other mediums of the franchise so maybe the promethean type looking enemies have always been around, or maybe not. regardless since they’re looking to start anew they should take pointers from reach.

make halo more grounded and grit, i dont think a full on futuristic shooter is favorable in todays climate, it’s been done enough and it’s stale + people rather see their characters rather than have them in robot looking armor. So think of it like black ops 2 but halo in a way - i think that’s how halo should reboot .

oh, and also, keep sprint as basic movement . halo will never work as a no-sprint game again.
