@DonnieTACO 360 ended up last because MS s*** the bed towards the end of the gen by not releasing anymore system seller bangers and focusing on kinect slop rebranding, while the PS3 was doing the opposite by dropping system selling bangers. Come Xbox one era, as phil said, that was the worst generation to fall behind in due to how widespread digital became. PS3 got kinda lucky that it struggled during a gen when digital didn’t take off yet

But yea, I agree with you. Xbox can improve, but only relative to how bad it’s fallen and not much else. Sony is at their absolute worst but MidStation 5s are still flying off shelves

@Rimebreaker I’m of the belief that gaming would be in a much better place today had Xbox not fallen off behind that fools decisions. Because of that, Xbox has been inconsistent for over a decade and Playstation has been on a downward spiral of arrogance and mediocrity

@HonestHick facts, xbox ain’t going anywhere, microsoft is too big of a monolith whereas the dreamcast didn’t have such backing. With that said, M$ is really good at wasting money. They’ve cancelled too many games

@Lanmanna Respectfully, I don't care about the Dreamcast; that's before my time. I was exposed to Sonic on the GameCube. But I am aware that the Dreamcast had online before Xbox was even out, I forgot about that. I didn't know Dreamcast's online had that many capabilities or features, but eh, Sony still didn't bring as much to the table - I never heard of the PS2 having an optional harddrive and I had the fat model and still have the slim, and I didn't accredit the analog (dual or not) to Playstation because Nintendo did it first, Nintendo also was the first to allow interactivity between a home console and handheld, the share button and system level capture started on both the xbox one and ps4,..?

I still think xbox did more than playstation.

@Fiendish-Beaver As long as Sony keeps digging its own grave I’ll always believe there’s a silver lining. I’m going to be honest, Xbox will never reach the highs it did during the 360 era again, but that doesn’t mean it won’t get better for team green - & whoever misses out on it is their loss. Xbox has several advantages over PS right now

@RTGX for you it does, but for me i can’t use KB&M. It’s just too difficult for me. I consider myself computer savvy too, but I just don’t have that skill to use KB&M for games

the point and click games are fine, it’s the other genres. pretty much EVERY other genre that isn’t a point and click

@ZombieGamez do you mean far superior for games overall or just this specific genre? i prefer controller and play much better with controllers. KB&M is cumbersome and complex, imo
