We've got a major new Xbox record that's been smashed this week! A Brazilian known as Marcello Malta, who goes by the name of SiegfriedX on Xbox, has officially become the first person to ever reach 10 million gamerscore.
Malta shared his accomplishment on social media just under 24 hours ago, and has already received well over 200,000 views on his post. The leaderboard over at True Achievements also recognises him as the leader for gamerscore, with the person in second place being someone called "True Marvellous" at 9.9 million.

From what we can tell, SiegfriedX broke the record while playing an indie game called Paper Dash - Las Vegas, but he's also been getting achievements in more major titles recently such as Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2, Call of Duty and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
This is a pretty incredible achievement that seemed unthinkable back in the day, and we're sure it's taken an absolute ton of effort, time and money to get there. Congratulations to Marcello Malta (and everyone else topping the leaderboard for that matter), and we hope you had fun along the way!
