Fixing what isn't broken will just break it. There's nothing wrong with it. Just play games, if you are spending this much time in the dashboard you are doing it wrong.

@Fishticon They may be a bit overpriced, they are still great controllers. I have two Elite controllers and I'm very happy with them. You can remap the buttons, there are short triggers and rear paddles as well if you want. The quality of it is very solid. People buying them aren't getting ripped off, saying someone is gullible for buying one is a stretch.

I think it's great that they are adding this level of poo polish to the game. It must mean the rest of the game is going quite well.

PGR is not better. Forza Horizon is the evolution of PGR.

Only problem I have is with Rockstar is the lack of support for single player content. This may be the first GTA I never play.

Intended or not the toxicity in the gaming industry over console wars is just as bad as politics. Gamers should be supporting each other regardless of the differences, we would likely find more friends and play more games that way.

This is the least buggy of Ubisoft titles as of lately. Actually quite enjoyable.

@Broosh LOL That's great. Although I'd be impressed if my cats played my Xbox while I was at work. I would just put a webcam up if I found this out though.

@Broosh The THX sound was amazing. I'm not saying the boot up sound isn't nice. It's just too much if you aren't expecting it.

Ubisoft has problems in house. I won't be supporting them again until they get their crap together.

Of all of them LEGO had the most content. Storm Island with the weather effects at the time was very impressive. The Hot Wheels content is fun, but completing it was short lived. I'm looking forward to some of the player made content with Hot Wheels and event labs though. It may end up being the best if it gets support.

This would be cool if the boot up sound didn't rattle the house if I left the stereo up.

@mac01208 I completely agree with games being most important. Tools for connecting gamers is also important though.

@bobzbulder Valhalla was so bugged for me I couldn't finish the main story about a half year after launch. Over 5 months to fix a game breaking bug. Riders Republic still has broken collision mechanics and rewind system and they've literally stopped mentioning it as something that needs to be addressed. This company is a crap show.

Ubisoft post launch support is abysmal. They are truly the developer that you are smartest to wait a couple years IF they even fix the bugs and buy it at a discount.

Square Enix has made it easy to not be a fan of their games as someone who owns an Xbox. Between this and their NFT nonsense, I truly have no desire to play anymore of their games.

@Titntin Cat people in general. Is that a cat game, cool, I'll play it. It really doesn't matter, it just needs cats. I'm looking forward to Stray coming to Xbox down the line, but not holding my breath. I'm just not buying a PS5 just to play Stray. I'm not sure my PC can play it to a level I will enjoy.

@Yarec123 Insider access isn't exactly some exclusive club. Anyone can join I believe.

My only gripe is how it doesn't auto-install if you've already purchased. I drive up to the content to have the game take me to the store where I've already purchased the content just to install it, then it still does nothing and you have to force close the game to access the content. While the problem is short lived, something tells me they could find a way to avoid this.

@xMightyMatt14x The only problem is it should have been there at launch. There are many people who will likely never know that this was added in as if it were a second thought. They are going to need a lot of advertising to re-promote the game with these features that should have been there in the first place.

Pretty much every reason the game sucked for me at launch. I don't know if I care enough to play it anymore though.

A little overdue but can't wait. This also has me wondering if the second DLC will end up being LEGO content. That was fun in FH4.

@UnusedBabyWipes I was thinking along the same lines. I personally had though Ubisoft said they weren't going to make any more single era games like we've been getting.

Considering how poorly they did with Valhalla, for me with bugs that broke the game that wouldn't allow me to finish the main story. Then Riders Republic where the number 1 issue at launch was collision mechanics and a broken rewind feature, that are still broken and the developers don't even bring it up anymore meaning the brokenness of the game is now a feature.

That being said it's going to take a long time for Ubisoft to earn my trust to the point of considering another game from them.

@dsar9012 I'm personally not interested in those games. To me Playstation is actually in a worse position because Game Pass has many games at a great value. The industry as a whole isn't doing well, I do expect a rebound.

Looking at 2022 is a real gut punch. I have friends literally ignoring this generation of consoles. It's because of the lack of games in general.

I can't go back to non textured triggers. I wish they would add them to the customization tools for custom designed controllers and make a new Elite controller, that also uses batteries like the original.

I couldn't even find a game one time. Ended up contacting support over it.

I remember when the power glove came out it looked so cool and I wanted one. It definitely never lived up to what I thought it was but doesn't make me like it any less. I really appreciate this guy taking the time to do this. Pretty nostalgic.

I personally think Valhalla's combat sucks, it's why I didn't play the expansions. Valhalla is to me is not better than Odyssey. Looking forward to Origins.

So if you obtain the DLC and the game leaves Game Pass do you still have to buy the base game?

There's still just part 1 of 3 am I correct? Remake announced at the beginning of PS3. 1st part released at the end of PS4 lifecycle. I have yet to hear anything about a part 2 or 3. By the time part 3 comes out there will be flying cars and elevators to the moon. At this point I'm just going to laugh if it fails.

It is a disappointment that games like Starfield are delayed, though I look at Halo Infinite and think to myself, take all the time you need. All the same the value is undeniable with the amount and quality of games available on Game Pass. It's been a while since I've read a Kotaku article this piece seems like a reminder why.

The Star Wars Xbox 360 had the power button and eject button sounds on the console replaced with R2D2 noises something not mentioned in the video. This was my favorite part about it.

@GuyProsciutto $10 more than if I didn't buy a second time for a game I already paid for, played, and beat that offers me nothing but 5 minutes of nostalgia before never playing again.

All this content we have already payed for and played for the low price of $60.

@Leuke FH5 still has to expansions one likely to drop in June during the showcase. Those are usually fun.

@Leuke It doesn't flip like a switch. Bethesda acquisition was just completed, Activision/Blizzard isn't even completed. I'd suggest waiting for the showcase in June and see what their promises are. I'm not saying you are wrong, I think we just have to have a bit more patience with the process.

Considering Halo Infinite is still in the situation it is. I completely agree with this decision.

@awp69 My guess is the first will drop during the June Showcase when they release the trailer for it. They have a good history of keeping stuff like this secret and surprising us.

@A01 Some games like Forza Horizon 5 can be played solo, but you still need an internet connection for the daily, weekly, and seasonal content to update. They sure need to fix issues, but the problem is bigger than the digital vs. physical game discussion. There is an element to being online that doesn't have anything to do with multiplayer that even having a physical disc won't solve.

This game is broken like Windows 11. Both at least a year too early.
