Xbox's Gamescom Show Falls On A Very Important '007' Anniversary

Listen, we don't want to get your hopes up or anything, because we thought we'd have seen it by now, but it seems there's a good chance the GoldenEye 007 remaster/remake could show up on the day of Xbox's Gamescom 2022 show.

Why? Because it's also the date of GoldenEye 007's 25th anniversary. The game first launched for the Nintendo 64 on August 25th, 1997, and exactly 25 years later, Xbox is hosting a day-long livestream from Gamescom in Germany.

We know for a fact that this Xbox version of GoldenEye 007 exists, as the achievements even appeared on the official Xbox website a couple of months ago, but the latest rumour is that the release has been "in limbo because of the war".

We haven't heard anything about an August 25th release for this Xbox port, but it just seems like there's a good possibility it'll show up in some fashion at Gamescom this year. But then again, we were saying that about E3 as well...

Do you think GoldenEye 007 for Xbox will finally be revealed on August 25th? Give us your predictions below.
