Sfter playing it i eas pleasantly surprised. I wasexpecting the worst and ended up having a good time. I did some side missions which were well built and didn't play much of the main campaign. As soon as I finished Alan Wake 2 and Miasma chronicles, I will get back to it.
You wont regret it, i tried playing the 1st one and couldnt get into the repetitive and clunky gameplay. To be fair its an old game but Alan Wake 2 is something else.
Nothing really..i uninstalled starfield cause i got burned out. Gotham kinghts i tried twice doing a main mission and my kid interrupted lol. There's so much repetition I can take..so I'll give that a break. I'm highly anticipating alan wake 2 so I think not having anything to play now it's a good thing
@Nighto4 those are some harsh words for deathloop. I ended up loving the game. Gotta admit the first 2-3hs, I didn't know what I was doing ..but then it all started to click. Im cuirious..How much time did you spend with it?
Im not coming back to this brainless game...not even at 120fps . The game structure itself is a letdown no matter what they do to fix its technical issues. I'm still a big arkane fan ..but they just have to let go and stick to what they are good at. Single games with intriguing narrative
Starfield ,I was about to drop it when all of the sudden I played a really good side quest. I need to level up my pilot skills for a main mission Also gotham knights which is quite good in my opinion. Doesnt bring anything to the table but it's ok
@Kaloudz me too im waiting for a good sale on this one, im not gonna pay 100$CAN for any game unless it's something really special (GTA6 or Alan Wake 2) Dead Island 2 looks super fun and I'm ok waiting a bit longer for a good sale on this
@Spaceman-Spiff i agree with you, i want arkane to do what they do best and stick to single player games.
Hopefully the dishonored 3 rumors are right and we get a new game
@munstahunta thanks for the heads up. I will probably pay that in a few months to try AC Mirage. 22 $can is not gonna break the bank comparing to 69 can + tax. For now im on starfield, cant get to the last mission cauze my ship sucks haha. Also i played 2hs of Gotham knights which is nothing special so not sure if ill unisntall it or not yet With my son ill play a bit of lost in play for pc (absolutely adorable game)
Its a fine game, I was expecting a bit more from the main campaign. Collecting artifacts is repetitive and tedious. Side quests are good mostly. For me it's an 8 game, and I was expecting more
@TJ81 hehe yeah..i tried quite a few games to get my wife hooked, such as sherlock holmes chapter 1 (we both gave up after 3hs) With the wolf among us im starting to suspect she's just doing me a favor of playing it due to my constant insistence:P
Played 1hr of cocoon last night and will continue to do so over the weekend. It is something special. Also starfield, finally got the mantis and hopefully that allows me to do a main mission that required a special ship to travel to. Also might continue wolf among us with the wife...
30 hs in... it's a love and hate relationship with the game. I like it for what it is and it did get me hooked specially there are some unexpected moments and great side quests. The day baldur's gate releases on xbox ill probably put starfield to rest tbh
This looks amazing, i would love to support the studio on day 1 but unfortunately my backlog is gigantic at this moment. Will definitely get it down the line at some point.
@Carck not sure what u mean. They changed the mode to free to play 2 years ago, with that the gameplay was drastically changed , for worse, and the game modes were aiming to online co-op which I couldn't care less. I would gladly buy PES 2020 again but it's off the Microsoft store. I tried hard to like Fifa and it's just not my cup of tea.
I tried the demo last year, also the year before that and the year before that. There has been minimal change for the passed 6 years so i know what to expect. I miss the good old PES...
No other gaming memory has stuck with me more than with Dishonored 2. Hopefully the rumors are right and arkane gets this one right. If the game is halg as good as the second im buying it firstvday
Mainly Starfield, I have a love and hate relationship with this game. After doing quite a few side quests (Which were quite amazing), I decided to streamline the main quest and im quite dissapointed at the direction its going and also how repetitive it get searching for artifacts. I can see why it got 7s and 8s in some reviews. For me personally it was a 9 until I did the main quest, which really hurt the game due to how repetitive and unfun it became.
@Romans12 Love the game either way. The vast variety of secondary missions is worth just by itself. The main mission so far is go there fetch this artifact and go back to the lodge. Something just happened and it changes a bit of the mechanics but it hasn't grabbed me yet. Like I said it is just the beginning and I'm still optimistic that it will get really good after some time. I was wondering what's the event that turns this around (not sure if It can be said without spoiling it)
Im not quite sold yet after 10hs of play. The secondary missions i loved but then i played 2 or 3 hours of the main missions and they left a lot to be desired tbh. Will it get better?
I tried the demo and really liked it. I am still planning to buy it down the line. This is just sad news...kinda feel a bit guilty for not supporting the game on day one bit unfortunately im not made out of money
I was never able to finish yakuza like a dragon even though I put more than 40 ha into it a while ago.
I'm starting from zero and really enjoying. thanks to my crappy memory it is like I'm playing it for a first time 😀
Also I started playing the wolf among us with my wife...kinda trying to get her hooked on these kind of narrative games
I will definitely get it down the line.l, desperado 3 was really good. But for now I'm quite occupied with yakuza like a dragon and I'm expecting to finish it by the time starfield is out.
I stopped with midnight suns after 80hs, loved the game at first but now it's just repetitive and story is quite bad. I might finish it one day but i had enough of it for now.
I decided to restart Yakuza like a dragon one more time, I forgot how good this game was.
As I, typing I'm downloading baldur's gate 3, not sure my computer will be able to run it but we'll see.
@Utena-mobile yes... it's quite easy to refund a game before 2 weeks and also not having played the game for too long Google: refund xbox games and ull get there
I bought gotham knights and almost immediately asked for a refund.
Nothing against the game but I already spent 50$ can on the telltale expanse and felt kinda guilty on spending so much money on gaming.
Might buy it again down the line
After finishing the first episode of the expanse. I was left wanting more so I downloaded wolf among us. It's been more than 8 years I don't play ir so I don't remember a whole lot. This game is really good and holds ery well..
Allright.. I just finished episode 1 in one sitting. Absolutely loved it but I need to see some more. I understand why some people may prefer to wait till all the episodes are released before purchasing. I guess I'll have to wait 2 weeks .. Glad telltale is back to form
I finished deathloop last night. I put more than 40hs to finish it (can't believe how some people said it took them 12hs) I absolutely loved it. I bounced back the first time i played it but im glad i gave it another chance. So I'll take a few days off gaming, perhaps continue a bit with midnight suns after a break. Have a nice weekend everyone!

I'm entirely hooked after just 5 minutes, unfortunately I gotta go to work now

I loves Vampyr and greedfall..amazing games that are up my alley.
Will definitely buy this one despite the reviews
Re: 2023 Has Been So Strong That Publishers Are Now Delaying Games To 2024
That's a shame though totally understandable, I got my eye on banishers for quite a while and it was one of my most anticipated games of the year.
Re: Talking Point: What Do You Think Of Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0 So Far?
It's difficult to go back to starfield after trying cyberpunk.. thats giving a lot of praise to the latter
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 23-24)
The few hours i got free this weekend ill put them into Starfield.
Liking it quite a lot so far

Re: Hands On: Telltale's 'The Expanse' Episode 1 Has Us Hooked
Bought it just to support the studio.
Don't care much about the expanse universe.
I'm 1hr in and really enjoying my time with the game so far
Re: Ubisoft Reportedly Cancelled 'Immortals Fenyx Rising' Sequel Earlier This Month
Thats a shame. Though i never got to finish it i really enjoyed the 15 hours i spent with the game
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (July 22-23)
@Mrta1977 yeah.. for me :
dishonored 2, prey and deathloop in that order.
All three are amazing games though
