Now that bungie is owned by sony/playstation and all upcoming expansions and patches release under the playstation brand does that mean destiny 2 is the 3rd playstation game on Xbox after MLB the show 21 and 22?

@heksesang @BAMozzy sorry my response was a bit emotional to give an opposite extreme to the original extreme that it’s a fanboy thing.

But yeah I agree it isn’t for everyone definitely. My brother turns it off too because it’s very distracting for him and he has chronic issues with his hands.

To me and many others it’s just a bit of fun immersion that can range from “the controller tiptoes when you use the spider drone in spider-man, isn’t that absolutely cute?!” To “oh wow how awesome is it that the controller can rumble from individual points so it can emulate from which side stuff happens ingame, isn’t that awesome?!”

It’s definitely not for anyone but to me acting like it isn’t something that xbox would benefit from having too is just silly. Options are always better to have instead of going “most people don’t care so it’s a gimmick that isn’t missed by anyone”. I rather see it in the next xbox controller as a togglable option than xbox missing out on something both Nintendo and Sony are doing well.

@VokDaWiibSlayer haptic feedback most definitely isn’t a fanboy buzzword. Anyone playing both knows it’s missed on xbox. I know I sure make buying decisions based on how well games implement it.

It’s sad that xbox doesn’t have haptic feedback and force feedback. Will definitilly play it on
Ps5 at a discount instead of gamepass.

While I did own a Xbox as a kid I mainly used my gamecube and I’ve always been a Nintendo and playstation gamer. The series X is my first xbox I bought new instead of used that I also actively use alongside my current gen playstation and Nintendo consoles.

If they’re not coming to the one that means the XSX finally has first party console exclusives. Took them 2 years but it happened.

Of the top 6 only 1 is a full game/2022 release. The others are 4 2022 ports of a 2012, 2017, 2021 and another 2021 game and a new dlc.

Beat Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition and Chicory: a Colourful Tale yesterday. Also beat Castlevenia: Portrait of Ruin 2 days ago and Strangers of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin 5 days ago.

Started Playing Agents of Mayhem this morning and I’m still playing Fortnite trying to get level 200.

Gonna try and reach battlepass level 200 in Fortnite, almost there.

Also gonna try and finish up Strangers of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origins

And probably gonna start Castlevania Portrait of Ruin on my DS.

On the one hand I don’t want playstation to loose acces to acti bliz games. On the other hand acti bliz is in such a ***** state and I can’t see any other company than Microsoft fix it so I really want the purchase to go through.

Where is the “I have enough time on my hands but I prefer shorter games so I check eitherway” option 😂

Sony owns the Nioh IP just like how they own bloodbourne, beyond two souls, detroit become human, heavy rain and death stranding.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Last one of the maingames I need to beat, after that I only have Dead Souls left for the spin offs (counting Judgment, Lost Judgment and Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise).

Besides that Fortnite should have a end of season event this weekend so probably that too.

After those are done I might pick Life is Strange 2 back up or I might start with Strangers of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origins

When it comes to trophies and achievements I think it was Lego the Hobbit on ps4 as I don’t think I ever completed an achievement list on steam before I got a PlayStation.
Non achievement related it’s probably wario land 3 for the GBC.

First game I ever beat was probably Super Mario Land 2.

The artstyle and graphical style could fool people into thinking it’s current gen. Any screenshot basically.
Let’s see this was a free upgrade that just made the ps3 game native 4K and 120fps People that never played it would’ve thought it was a brand new, albeit lower end, ps5 or XSX game.

A lot of games deserve a The Last of Us style remake, on all 3 platforms, both first party and third party.

You know which game definitely didn’t deserve one? The Last of Us. That game can fool people into thinking it’s current gen. Both the ps3 and ps4 version IMO.

Eitherway I’d love the uncharted trilogy, halo trilogy, zelda ocarins of time, the infamous games, gears of war and metroid prime 1 to get remakes like these.

Playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna the Golden Country at the moment and still want to finish up Life is Strange 2. Also like every week some fortnite.

Not much besides those. Maybe I’ll start Two Point Campus or something else.

Xbox 360 emulation used to be extremely bad until last week. Glad that massive update happened. I don’t emulate myself as I don’t play on pc but I’m glad it works. Would love to play Forza Horizon 2 and 3 with the dlc which should be possible through emulation.

Still trying to get the platinum trophy for Ghost of Tsushima and do the expansion.

After that I’ll either go back to Life is Strange 2 and continue that game or start we ❤️ Katamari which arrived in the mail a few days ago.

Oh and the fortnite dragon ball super event ofcourse, still want to unlock that glider and the emote and still have 26 levels on the battlepass left until I’m lvl 200.

@Dezzy70 doubt it. It’s still a sony first party IP. If it happens sony will probably bring something like spider-man over first similar to MLB the show.

Monthly games is definitely ps+.
The service is definitely gamepass.
The legacy games within the service is definitely ps+.
The overall price/quality ratio including taking the GWG upgrade path into consideration is definitely gamepass.

Overall I’d say I prefer gamepass but I’ll see how both stack up in a year or 2 when the ps premium part of ps+ has picked up the pace with retro additions and the rumoured native ps3 emulation.

Remember when pachter predicted the pc and console market would die due to mobile gaming, the ps4 would lose to the Xone but both would sell poorly and the switch would flop due to its gimmick?
Ps4 is the 2nd best selling home console of all time and 3rd best selling gaming device. Switch is the 3rd best selling home console and 4th best selling gaming device.

I move my xbox SX and ps5 around a lot so I use them for YouTube, disney+, HBO max and amazon prime on occasion if the tv I use doesn’t support the apps natively. But I never use it for tv.

DJMAX was my favorite easily.

Finished up Forza horizon 1, infamous second son, stray and the awesome adventures of captain spirit in the past few days.

Currently playing Life is Strange 2 and the plan is to play God of War Ghost of Sparta after that.

It’s summer now (in the parts of the world where the “spring TBD” was based on), shouldn’t those be changed to TBD by now?

Playing yakuza 5 ps4 at the moment on my ps5 which I’m about halfway through with.

Also bought tiny tina’s wonderlands at a sale for ps5 for €25 which I’ll be playing after. It’s actually my first ps5 game I bought myself new/not used since my launch pre orders, all my other pickups where either used or gifts.

Besides that I am still playing fire emblem fates birthright on my 3ds, animal crossing new horizons on my switch and forza horizon 5 on my XSX.

@fraserG does the purexbox crew know what’s up with hydro thunder in europe? It’s not free and I suspect it’s due to having a different name here and technically being a different game here.

Really happy with this. Playstation has had this since forever and when I first got my xbox last year I was super confused why I couldn’t reveal hidden achievements.

@GuyinPA75 assuming this isn’t a joke, halo infinite’s MP is F2P for everyone eitherway. Giving it as part of gold would be like giving fortnite as part of gold.

@suikoden am I a playstation fan if I’d say he’s overrated? I like all consoles and my favorite console maker doesn’t even make consoles anymore sadly (sega) and I’m fully multiplatform. But I’ve never been a fan of his games and think they’re not as good as people say they are. I like kojima as a person tho, funny guy, knows how to bait and mislead people in really funny ways.

I’ve only bought the XSX in October. I own a few og, 360 and one games I bought at flea markete but the only one I’ve ever played is fallout new vegas which I played on ps3 and steam and I’m planning on replaying on the XSX this year.

My XSX is mainly for UGP.

My younger brother, who has been a playstation user exclusively since the psp launched after being nintendo only, bought the XSX because of the acti-bliz deal.

I’ve been everything but xbox for years but yeah I bought the XSX for UGP last year.

Fire emblem awakening on the 3DS. Almost done with the game and it’s great. It’s my first FE game too.

@FraserG I beat the game today and wanted to ask, did you encounter any framerate issues or small moments where the game freezes for like 1 or 2 seconds in your playthrough?

Aksing because they became so frequent for me from the midway point to the end that it soured my entire experience sadly. Overall loved it but that was just unnacceptably bad IMO.

@OliverOwen removing or not improving on media sharing aren’t required steps to get the other 2 features to become a thing.

Not counting gifts I bought 17 games.
3 digital switch games. 14 physical games including 1 3ds game, 2 ds games, 1 xbox one game, 2 ps4 games, 2 ps3 games and 6 switch games.
Also 7 gifts for my birthday of which 6 where switch games and 1 was a psp game.

Also not counting these yet since they won’t arrive until next week but I ordered all 3ds FE games excluding the incredibly expensive fates revelations. So that’s another 4 games. So 28 games total.

I think with time we’ll see more UGP games that aren’t on Xone. IIRC Microsoft’s promise to keep supporting the one was only until November of 2022 so after that we should see first party XSX/XSS only games too.

Continuing tokyo mirage sessions #FE encore on the switch and after a few years of wanting to play it I finally started playing folklore on the ps3.
Also a bit of muse dash on the switch here and there

Truly an homage to the games, this is what fans wanted always.

Mass effect is really great so far but IMO there haven’t been any notable additions in January and February so far, neither in AAA terms, B tier terms and indie terms. Ofcourse stalker 2 got delayed so that doesn’t help.

Hoping we will be getting lost in random soon through EA play.

Well yeah, N64 version is the original emulated. xone version is a remaster with a lot of updates. You’d expect a remaster that’s changed to play better and more user friendly to be better than the original.

My favorite isn’t on this list :/
It’s judgment 1, which is a yakuza game.

Playing the perfect christmas game. Spider-man miles morales. (It’s heavily themed around Christmas and set during Xmas)

Besides that probably guardians of the galaxy, xenoblade chronicles definitive edition and forza horizon 5.

Scores are surprisingly low. Really fun game so far.
