In early 2025, former Xbox Game Pass title Rollerdrome (alongside fellow Roll7 title OlliOlli World) was delisted on digital storefronts following the sale of publisher Private Division - but this week, the skater-shooter has been revived by owner 2K, and it's back on the Xbox Store.
Yep, Rollerdrome is now available digitally once again - although unfortunately, it's no longer an Xbox Game Pass title. Curiously, the game is now published by Take-Two (2K) rather than Private Division, but at least it's available to buy again in 2025.
At the time of Private Division's sale late last year, it was said that pretty much all of its IP would transfer over to the new owner; an owner that's still not been officially disclosed. However, it appears that OlliOlli World and indeed Rollerdrome were not part of the sale - and the two Roll7 games are now being published by former Private Division owner 2K.
Somewhat confused? Honestly, us too, but the important news is that these games have now been revived for digital purchase - even if Roll7 itself is now defunct. We'd love to see Rollerdrome (or both of these titles, for that matter) come back to Xbox Game Pass one day, but for now, the game is available for $29.99 / £24.99 on the Microsoft Store.
