First announced to be joining Xbox Game Pass at Gamescom last year, the folks behind Lost in Random: The Eternal Die have revealed the upcoming roguelite's full release date. You can expect to be playing this one on June 17th, 2025, day one on the service.

In this Lost in Random sequel, "players will journey as Queen Aleksandra, the once great ruler of Random, and her die-companion Fortune, as they battle twisted foes, wield powerful relics and abilities, and roll the dice to overcome the nightmarish realms of Random’s new villain - Mare The Knight."

Here are some of the title's gameplay features that have been highlighted by the team, alongside some fresh screenshots:

  • Mastery Meets Chance: Engage in fast-paced, second-to-second combat that blends real-time action with strategic decision-making - and a touch of luck.
  • Forge Your Playstyle: Wield four unique weapons, throw your die-companion, and combine 100+ relics with powerful card-based abilities to unleash devastating synergies.
  • Ever-Changing World: Traverse four randomly generated worlds, each with its own distinct secrets and challenges and face over 30 different enemy types and formidable bosses.
  • A Dark Fantasy Tale: Immerse yourself in a fully voiced story set in a Tim Burton-inspired world, brought to life with hauntingly beautiful landscapes and an enchanting soundtrack.

This release date reveal marks the fifth addition to June's Xbox Game Pass lineup so far - we detailed the first four titles confirmed for the service not so long ago. Of course, we're also expecting updates from Microsoft in the coming weeks to fully build out next month on XGP.
