This is the same sale they had last week. Was hoping for some new stuff like City of Wolves.

Tried the demo a few months ago and loved it. As a fan of the series, I will be playing this game when it comes out. Looks like the first decent HoMM game since 3.

@NeoRatt So then why lie about her Gamertag in the first place? I get it she's not a gamer no big deal. The problem I have is that she did say that and probably would have kept saying that if the truth was exposed. If she lied about something so small as her Gamertag then it makes a person think what else is she lieing about? Not a good start for a new head of a corporation.

Sorry but I dont believe her. She was already exposed for fake she was. Honestly it doesn't matter if shes a gamer at all just because shes in the industry doesnt mean she has to be one but don't lie about. Lieing about it makes it worst.

@Kezelpaso Lol yeah, I wasnt to big on CoD Ghost for that reason, it was a campfest. Anytime you tried moving you'd get sniped. Was that IW or Sledgehammer that did that game?

@Kezelpaso But see that's what CoD has always been a fast paced Arcade shooter, not a slow paced arcade sim. Even going back to the original MW games. You shouldn't be punished for moving around the map like you do in MW2019.

Its obvious what shes doing. She's just doing this stuff to appeal to the fanboys, nothing more then a PR stunt to make her and the her uppers look good.

Its clear now that Phil and the other recently departed executives were the fall guys for the cororporate stooges failed direction of Xbox. Obviously they used it to get the people out that they didnt want and replace them with people.who do what they wanted.

@Kezelpaso To be honest I hav always liked Treyarch's game more but I did play a ton of Modern Warfare Remastered. But after MW 2019 the CoD games where never the same. I get it you had new devs and they wanted to try something different but in doing so they alienated alot of their core fans and the game didnt even resemble CoD anymore. The safe spots, the disbanding lobbies, the SBMM all of it was designed to "help" new players but instead it changed how the game was played. I never got punished as much for moving around the map as I did in 2019 MW. People camping behind doors and such. In all honesty it just made the game less fun.

2019 MW is where the decline for CoD started. Horrible map designs with safe camping spots, SBMM, the fast TTK. All designs to alienate their core fans.

Since I finished up Borderlands 3 and Forza Horizon 2 Last weekend its time to start some new games, that will be

Mafia Old Country (Series X) Looking forward to this one as I love the Mafia games.

Visions of Mana (Series X) Was in a RPG mood and I have been wanting to check this one out since I enjoyed the main line Mana games.

I have been waiting for Hades II.

I think the big problem was the Battlefield name. If they marketed as an actual Spinoff rather then part of the main Battlefield line it would have done alot better. But they expected fans of military shooters to just jump on board with this game which I am sure some did but most people play Battlefield for the military them.

I am sure GTA Online played a big part of EA going this route with Battlefield which yeah I can understand why but if you are known for a particular thing you cant replace it with whatever is popular at the time and alienate your core fans.

Adding Netflix to Gamepass will not lower the price if anything it will increase it even more. Look what happened when they added Ubisoft games.

@TDHorizon @Millionski Its because all of the older CoD games are hacked to ***** and Activision doesnt want not have the time to go back and make then safe. Its bad the hacking, were are not just talking about cheaters in game we are talking about people able to take over your console, rest stuff like gamerscore, and all other nefarious deeds. But release the games in the state now just opens up Activision to all kinds of law suits.

Not surprising. You lose someone as big as Spencer and others will follow. Its pretty clear that the new management and the direction they are going arent a hit with current Xbox excutives.

@VisitingComet1 Yeah I can see playing it if you have young ones like I said. But if you dont, like me I just found it like a kid friendly water downed Diablo.

@Sindayl Thats why I just stick with Diablo 3.

Played the first one for a couple of hours and it just made me want to play Diablo. I guess its cool for young kids whose parents dont want them playing something as dark as Diablo but for anyone else you are just better off playing Diablo.

This weekend I am looking to finally finish up a few games that I have been playing for awhile.

Forza Horizon 2 (Series X) Just need to finish 2 more championships to get to the Horizon Finale. I am not quite sure if thats the end or what since I never played this game but it sounds like it to me and if it is I will be putting this game to bed.

Borderlands 3 (Series X) Looking to wrap up this game as well. Right now I am doing Krieg"s DLC and quite possibly my favorite but then again Kreig is my favorite BL character.

Retro Rewind (Steam) Been hearing about this game alot and it interested me quite alot. A video store sim in the 90's sign me up.

Thats understandable and pretty sure with the next Xbox console being announced more and more devs are going to be leaving out the Xbox One. Its time to move on.

As you said Fraser it probably won't make and impact as these games cater to different audiences. I can see Batman maybe getting effect but the fact that FH6 will be on Gamepass and Batman wont, might mean people will purchase Batman and just play FH6 via Gamepass.

I am.excited for both games, some co-op Lego action with my son and the someHorizon action when I have time to myself.

Forza Horizon 2 (Series X) Just got win 5 more championships so thats what I will be doing. Fantastic game.

Darkwing Duck (Switch) Wrapping up this one as well just have the final level to do.

I will admit out of all the places that Forza Horizon has been, Forza Horizon 5's setting in Mexico is the least interesting to me. It just seemed an odd choice from the beginning to me. I dont known if Mexico has a rich car history like the previous titles and even Japan or if it was the terrain itself that made them want to place the game there. Personally I am surprised we didnt get Germany but they probably didnt want to do another European one right after 4. Also was surprised that they didnt do Japan for 5 and waited till 6.

Its clearly obvious that he was forced out, which is sad for someone who did so much for the Xbox brand.

@shoeses Owning Activision isnt the thing its the fact that Disney owns the Marvel license needed for the Spider-man games. Also it depends on the contract Sony has for Spider-man games as well.

F**k Activision. I am done with CoD. Instead of putting their efforts in making a good CoD instead of the slop they are making they go and bully those afraid to speak the truth. CoD wont be getting a cent from me again.

The problem is that these studios expect CoD numbers right away and if they dont have it within the first few months they declare the game unsuccessful and shut it down. It happened to XDefiant, Concord, and so many others.

CoD didnt get its numbers right away it took years to build it to the juggernaut that it has become. And yeah there are alot of CoD players leaving CoD but they arent interested in another FPS game they want CoD to go back to being CoD again not Fortnite's creepy uncle.

I want a New Vegas remaster mainly cause I prefer the West Coast over East Coast Fallout. I understand why they would do 3 because that really introduced the series to alot of people but come on its time to show the West Coast some love.

I will pass. I bought tbe first one years ago when it first came back to Xbox. It got nothing but glowing reviews so I bought it. Boy was I disappointed.

Combat and movement was so sluggish and slow compared to gamws like Streets of Rage 4 Mayhem Brawler and even older beat em ups like River City Ransom and Final Fight. It felt like you were fighting in molasses the whole time. It makes me think that it only got its status because of the I.P. because the gameplay is just awful compared to other games of that genre.

Cool next month one of the best Final Fantasy games will come to GP.

Hey Activision instead of just throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks to get players to come back how bout just make CoD games like you use to. No SBMM, no goofy skins or camping spots. Pretty sure that will bring players back.

The X-Men Arcade makes this package worthwhile for me. Been waiting for a legit home port of it since it was pulled from the MS store.

@themightyant Thats what a good boss does. We are all gamers whether you are a CoD or Madden fan that only plays those games, the RPG lover who knows every nook and cranny in the world of the latest RPG or your someone who plays every game under the sun. Thats the only way to run a successful business.

@FraserG Couldn't have said it better myself. It did seem that after the Activision buyout Phil did lose alot of power which is sad and alot of people did focus on that. To be honest though he could only do what the people above him would allow him to do.

They needed someone to turn around Xbox after Don Mattrick's fiasco they found someone in Phil, however once he accomplished what they wanted they tossed him aside, sadly really.

Its was because of Phil's decisions that brought me back to the Xbox brand, it wasnt untill they removed the Kinetic from the Xbox One and lowered the price of it that I got one, before that I was primarily PS4. When the next gen came, I went with Series X over PS5 due to Jim Ryan's handling of it kinda reminded me of Don Mattrick with the Xbox One launch. Couldn't be happier with my Series X (and S).

I will be greatful for Phil's handling of the Xbox during his reign couldnt have been happier to proclaim in Phil I trust. Hopefully the currently leaders will learn from Phil.

Pure and simple you listen to your customers and fanbase to begin with and go from there. If you dont please your customers then you wont have any and you wont have a company left.
