Nice Click bait there. Blizzard has gone on record saying that WoW will be tied to PC. The closest we will get to it on console is a device like Steam Deck or Steam Machine.

I wonder if the new Starcraft game is using stuff from the cancelled Starcraft Ghost.

Because Netflix you can axcess from so many devices Gamepass only Xbox devices. If Sharma would put on other devices like the Switch for example then it would have been more successful. But she is more about killing it tben making it suceed.

I used the skull, my son used the dragon. This makes me want to plug in my 360 now and reminisce.

@BAMozzy Well obiviously never got laid off or fired from a job which I am glad for you otherwise you wouldn't say these people don't matter.

I have and it sucks these people count on their paychecks to make ends meet to provide for themselves and quite possibly others like their spouse and maybe children, to be told that oh we dont need you anymore is a horrible situtation. Figuring out how to make ends meet and for how long you are going to be in that situtation. Do you honestly thing these people took a job thinking hey I am disposable I will just do this till MS gets rid of me like yesterday's garbage. No they dont.

People like Asha dont care, after all shes sitting on her ass with her nice paycheck so why should she. But then again alot of corporate stooges think like that. Which is why protests like this will happen untill these corporate stooges start treating people like people.

If these studio's were underperforming Asha as head of Xbox should have corrected the course perhaps train them better work with them to do better instead of taking the easy way out and let people go as if they are nothing. I get it companies need to be profitable but if people are so disposable to her why did she take such a large paygrade. I am not reading anywhere that she is taking a paycut to save Xbox.

@BAMozzy Sure if they weren't up to company standards thats understandable yeah you need to get rid of the dead weight i.e. people not doing their jobs, maybe they have attendance issues, whatever. However to fire people for doing a game that doesnt meet sales expectations thats on your higher up not the devs and they shouldn't be fired for that. Thats on your marketing team. But to just cut people to save a few dollars yeah thats unexceptable and if there are so worried about the budget for employees well I didnt hear Asha complain about what shes making when she got the job.

Well of course they are they gotta keep busy otherwise Asha will let them go once they are done.

@BAMozzy How long you are at a comapny doesnt matter no one should be laid off just because the uppers want to look like they are doing something. And dont let them saying it was a cost effective measure fool you. I doubt Asha was so worried about cost effectiveness when they told her what she would be making.

Oh I am sure it looks great to you Asha. Your are probably just waiting for them to finish it so you can show them the way out like you did so many other devs. If they are smart they wont finish it till after MS gets rid of Asha.

@badboidre I think you got your games mixed up.

Really hoping that Lord of the Rings Conquest either becomes backwards compatible or a remaster or something so I can play it on modern consoles. New like this makes me think that its not impossible.

@badboidre Problem is with a 20 year old game the original coding and that is lost and it wasnt designed for consoles anyway so yeah they would have to start fresh.

@HelloCraigo I wonder how much Blizzard will get from sales when the WoW table top game comes out. Pretty sure that will bring in alot.

@badboidre In order to bring WoW to console it would have to be Classic or a completely new Retail version built from the ground up.

Looks interesting though, I would probably get this game on Switch. It looks like one of those game that would be perfect to play on a handheld right before bed kinda like Stardew Valley.

Yeah that why we want Sharma in charge to close studios, fire devs and more achievments. Never mind there are more important stuff to do.

World of Warcraft Classic (PC) Still working my way through Stonetalon but first I got a quick detour to Tarren Mill. Right now I am level 25 on my Orc Warlock.

Hexen (PC) This dropped a few days ago on Gamepass . I always enjoyed this game on N64 so I figure I give it a shot on PC.

@Exerion76 The way Sharma is closing down studios it wouldn't surprise me if that what happens.

This is horrible Sharma is nothing but a cancer slowly killing Xbox. How are you going to make exclusives and a solid game foundation if you are firing everyone? No one is their right mind is going to want to develop games for MS if they are just going to get fired right after they finish the game. Sharma needs to go otherwise their wont be an Xbox left.

@badboidre It was also ported to the Playstation and Saturn as well.

I remember playing Hexen alot with my brother on the N64. I always preferred it over Doom but I think that might be because of the fantasy setting. Will definitely be checking that out.

When it first came out Games with Gold was great but as it went on you could tell they were scrapping the bottom of the barrel. Early on it intoduced me to series I would have never played but yeah by the end of it it was time to pull the plug.

World of Warcraft (PC) With the recent announcement of the World of Warcraft setting for Dungeons and Dragons I got the urge to visit Azeroth again.

Castlevania Portrait of Ruin (DS) Also in the mood for some Castlevania so I will be playing my favorite of the DS trilogy this weekend.

@Fiendish-Beaver The problem is with the internet anyone can behave how they want without any repercussions. Alot of people like to stoke the flames cause they can. They get some sort of odd pleasure out of it cause again no repercussion. Even if they get banned whats stopping them from making a new account and doing the same all over again.

More talk from her of course. How exactly are you going to grow games into franchises when you just got rid of a bunch of devs. Halo? Gears? Fable? Minecraft? They are already franchises. What people want are new exciting franchises not the same old game every year like Ubisoft does or Activision.

I am not sure but I want to say the first one. Its whichever one was co-op cause my son and I played it together. He was Marcus I remember and I was Dom I think his name was. Honestly I wasnt impressed with the game and we didnt play it for long. Haven't played a Gears since.

@Elbow Phil may have greenlit it but Asha saw it through. If she was doing her job right she would have seen that the PS5 version was better then the Xbox version. She dropped the ball. This is the head of MS you hold in such high regards. Sad very sad.

Didnt buy anything from this sale. I did however buy some things from the Steam sale so when I switch over to PC gaming I will have a decent library ready.

Unacceptable. And where was Asha during all this? No word from her at all. Love it how when things go right she's all smiles and look at me I am giving players what they want but the moment something bad happens she is not around, she was totally radio silent. You want to do better to support us, you can start by getting rid of the problem and dump Asha so nothing like this happens again.

Haven't even tried to turn on my Xbox today. Currently I am playing Guns of Fury on Switch and it's running fine.

Nothing for me. I either already own the games I wanted thats on sale or they dont interest me. I did buy a Switch game the other day but nothing on Xbox.

Guns of Fury (Switch) A neat little Metroidvania game the combines Metal Slug and Mega Man with exploration of a Castlevania game.
