@Fiendish-Beaver CoD hasnt been a proper CoD in years. Ever since Modern Warfare 2019.

Its not bad but the voices are off (honestly I wasn't expecting Heath Ledger due to his passing) but the others are just off. Also why is the Danny Elfman Batman theme playing? It was no where in the Dark Knight Trilogy. The Danny Elfman theme was only in Batman 89 and Batman Returns. Hopefully this is just an early version and they fix all that before the final release.

Fallout and Twisted Metal is how tv shows based on video games should be. Others need to take notes.

@Krzzystuff I would be all for it if they did that, but when I play CoD I want to play CoD which was a military themed FPS. If I wanted Bevis and Butthead, Unicorn fart guns then I would play Fortnite, not CoD. Which is why I wont be playing BO7.

Unless they got rid of butt sliding, Bevis and Butthead, unicorn farting guns and basically is no longer Fortnite's creepy uncle I will be going with Battlefield 6 this year.

For me it depends on when the next gen is. As of now I wont be moving on anytime soon, I still have alot to play on my Series X/S.

@Ricky-Spanish If anything I may go back to Battlefield 1 or V since I own those but to be honest I am knee deep in games that I want to finish before Borderlands 4 comes out in a few weeks. Which will keep me busy till Battlefield 6 comes out.

Guess I should finish Sea of Stars.

Here is my line up for this weekend.

Suikoden (Series X) Well I have one more person to recruit and then I will be putting this one to bed. I really enjoyed my time with Suikoden and it still is one of my favorite RPGs of all time.

Battlefield 6 Beta (Series X) I am really enjoying my time with this one in honesty I haven't enjoyed a FPS game like this in a long time and best of all not Bevis and Butthead, or unicorn fart gun in site.

TMNT Shredder's Revenge (Series X) In honor of the 35th anniversary of the release of the first movie I decided to play some Shredder's Revenge. Mostly leveling up a few characters and achievement hunting. Still a fantastic game.

I like having the option. Granted I buy the recharging packs and use those for my Series X but having the option to use regular batteries is a big plus over Sony's controllers.

Probably not. I am not big into souls games and right now I have a full plate of games. I am currently playing Suikoden which I am about to wrap up. Then I want to start Suikoden II and finish that up as well as Mafia Old Country all before Borderlands 4 comes out here in a few weeks.

Loving it so far. If it wasn't for Borderlands 4 coming out in a few weeks I could say this would probably be my most played FPS this year. Will be putting some more time into this this weekend.

Honestly they ain't missing much. They do have Fortnite on the Switch so do they really need Fortnite's creepy uncle on it as well?

OMG I love Ceasar III. One of my favorite city building games ever.

How bout you bring back XDefiant instead Ubisoft.

I hope it does. I have always preferred the Horizon series over the motorsport series.

Played the beta for a few hours and loved it. Not a single butt scooting unicorn fart gun wielding Ninja turtle in sight. This is how a military themed FPS should be. Not Fortnite's creepy uncle.

Played it last year after renting it from Gamefly and it was such a snoozer escape after Vahalla. I got mid way through it I guess not really sure but couldnt go on anymore so I sent it back.

Got a few things that I will be playing this weekend.

Suikoden (Series X) Just took down two more of the Empire's generals and now I am preparing to take on Neclord.

Battlefield 6 Beta (Series X) Been looking forward to this, its been sometime since we had a proper military FPS multiplayer game that's not trying to be Fortnite's creepy uncle.

Madden 25 (Series X) With the NFL preseason starting its been making me want to get back to my career in Madden 25.

I think that about wraps it up for me this weekend

I will say Battlefield 1 since it was the one I put the most hours in. I also liked the fact it was WWI which to be honest is a war not to many FPS tackle. Its usually WWII that FPS use or a modern setting. As a history buff it was nice to see WWI as the backdrop for a FPS game which is why I spent alot of time on it back in the day.

I haven't played 6 yet but I have a feeling its going to be a toss up between 6 and 1 as to which is my favorite.

Can't wait to check it out here soon. Its going to be so nice not to have to deal with butt scooting, Bevis and Butthead, Ninja Turtles and unicorn fart guns in a military shooter.

Nice surprise there. I remember playing Hexen alot on the N64 when I was a teenager, I preferred that over Doom to be honest. Will definitely be checking it out this weekend.

Will be trying this on both my Series X and S this weekend. Its going to be so refreshing to play a military themed FPS again without having to worry about Bevis and Butthead and unicorn fart guns ruining the immersion.

Will be getting this one as I loved Mafia 1 and 2. 3 was ok definitely the weak one of the series but still enjoyable. Can't wait for the weekend to play this one.

Went with Tony Hawk. While Robocop is good I played it before it came to Gamepass so I couldnt technically count it.

Very excited to see this. I will be trying this out of course since it looks like we now have a proper military FPS multiplayer game and not Fortnites Creepy Uncle trying to claim to be a military FPS game.

My wallet is tapped out from The Summer Sale and Prime day. That and I want to finish the games I got before buying new ones.

@Lup Jade Empire is a great game. Its one of the few games that I wished got a sequel.

Suikoden (Series X) Just finished the battle with Kwanda Rossman. Now I am doing a bit of recruiting.

Octopath Travler (Switch) Started this awhile back but dont remember what I was doing plus I dont have my original save file anymore so I will be starting it this weekend.

Nothing for me. I bought a few games on the Summer Sale as well as the Suikoden Collection during Prime days so I got games to play for now.

I am looking forward to the one that knows what it is not what it wants to be. I want a military themed shooter over something like Fortnite and Overwatch. If I want Fortnite or Overwatch I will play those games, and well since CoD wants to be Fortnite's creepy uncle, I will be playing BF6.

Now if BO7 adds a filter to so I dont have to see Bevis and Butthead running around along with Ninja Turtles, and Seth Rogan firing unicorn fart guns at each other then I might play BO7. Till they do that I wont be wasting my time on B07.

Very excited for this game since CoD became Fortnite's creepy uncle. Hopefully BF doesnt make the same mistake as CoD and doesnt forget what it is.

@Ricky-Spanish Yeah I remember watching my roommate play through that game years ago. As I was watching him I was like ok when do you get to play as Snake? After seeing all the time he played as Raiden I was like I will pass on this one. When he finally finished and told me that it was all Raiden I moved on.

To be honest the guy is overrated. The only game of his I enjoyed was Metal Gear Solid. Tried other games and just didnt like them at all. Honestly people need to quit putting him on such a high pedestal like he's God's gifting to gaming.

@K1LLEGAL I played the demo of it years ago on the Switch and loved what I played of it. I just been waiting for it to go on sale for the Switch but Nintendo never puts it on sale, and honestly I am tired of waiting.

@FraserG I cant really say as I never played the original versions. By the time my son and I got to them the Remasters were out so we went with that. Still we enjoyed them alot and its one of our favorite Lego games in tbe series. I am looking at Lego Jurrassic World and the Marvel games myself.

Will be picking up a few things. I am thinking of picking up a few of the Lego Games I dont have for my son and I to play together. Also of thinking of finally pulling the trigger on Dragon Quest XI. I rather have that game on Switch but Nintendo refuses to put that game on sale and I am tired of waiting for their greedy asses to. Their lost is MS gain.

Other then that I dont really see anything else I want at this time.

@WildConcept6 You are absolutely right, which is why I will speak with my wallet. I dont see me buying or even playing Black Ops 7 if it comes to Gamepass as you said the suits dont care. In the end its the pot smoking Bevis and Butthead fans that buy that garbage who they care about, and sadly it shows. But it doesn't mean I have to support them. Its just sad to see a great franchise like CoD become that bad just because of corporate greed. I guess its time for me to move on.

@HonestHick If the can keep it a military themed game then I will be jumping over for sure, especially since CoD has become Fornite's creepy uncle.

@WildConcept6 They are targeting fans of other genres in hopes of getting their money too. They think ok we got the core Call of Duty fans dollars from them purchasing the game maybe they will spend more on a Price skin or an Adler skin that great but we want more. Oh throw some Bevis and Butthead Skins so we can get the Bevis and Butthead fans. Throw some TMNT skins to get the TMNT fans playing our game. Throw a pot smoking lizard there for all the stoners. Oh you get a skin, and you get a skin and you get a skin. It works well for Fortnite because they never claimed to be a military themed shooter. Again just dont claim to be something and do something else and treat people like their stupid.

@HardRockGamer Right. A few years ago if I remember they had a Rambo skin in one of them (I want to say Cold War) which ok makes sense at least its military. Hell I can even deal with Predator to a point. But when you have cell shaded characters running around with characters that look like real military persons along with shark human hybrids how is that a military theme. How is that any theme to be honest. They just need to drop the Call of Duty name rebrand it as something else and everything will be fine. Just dont act like you are doing a favor to the old players and treat us like we are stupid.
