Loved the first two games requiem is definitely one of the top games of this gen!
Really happy it's on gamepass id love Xbox to pick up this IP or whoever owns the rights to it.

Really good game the single player campaign was very good definitely worth the nothing price it's at!
Very different from the typical battlefield campaign because your a cop there's more stealth if you want to arrest dudes instead of killing them.
The best battlefield campaign in my opinion.
I played a bit of the multiplayer when I downloaded it got my bum handed to me haha 😂
Also turn off 4k display and turn your console resolution to 720p it will help the image a lot trust me!🤸

Price seems a bit steep for the type of game it is I can't really see the game being too deep it's not like you would get as much mileage out of this game as a gran turismo or Forza horizon game.
Looks fun but more a €40 game than fully priced looking fun but I can't see it being worth so much unless the game is much bigger than I expect it to be!

I mean for me the Xbox controller as perfect as can be in it's current form!
I've had a fair few hand injuries over the years so I do get pains doing most things with my hands but when gaming with the Xbox controller i feel nothing fortunately.
I'm sure the next gen controller will improve it further I don't need feedback buttons or any gimmicks like that as I'd feel pain playing.
I just want a comfortable quality controller!
I'd love stick drift to be extinct next gen aswell on the controllers!

I mean it would of been a huge surprise if revenue was up wouldn't it be!
The biggest change a can see since Sharma took over is the language and direction they seem to want to take the Xbox division!
Xbox was sleep walking into extinction but it seems from whats being said they are willing to fight for there share in the console market going forward!
How they handle the next gen release will be vital!
Take a hit with the helix get it into consumers hands at a fair price for the consumer!
Logically if someone is buying a brand new console they would make there money back over the lifecycle of the console if they take a loss at launch.
Most people would end up spending probably twice as much as least on games than the worth of the console over it's lifecycle!
If they get Xbox selling well again surely that's more important than short term profit.
Like scarface said first you get the money (install base) then you get the power (games) then you get the woman (profit)

@Ko512 AI will most certainly but used more next gen but by the sounds of it then dev kits will be going out next year so I would be likely that it drops in 2028.
Me personally I'm not pushed on next gen releasing anytime soon most well made games these days are still amazing looking on current gen.

A couple of nice statements aren't going to move the needle at all in reality!
Microsoft are willing to change there profit margins with the Xbox division now with has been confirmed maybe even take a loss what I get from that is Xbox is commeted to console gaming for at least the next decade.
So all the negative Nelly's out the get real a Xbox division willing to fight for it's place in the market and willing to do it with little or no profit for the time being is a very dangerous animal!
Xbox is on the best track it's been on in years the negativity guys will see soon enough hahaha

I just want a normal campaign next time with big set pieces!
Not open world like the last one it was to much like farcry for my liking.

@FraserG Yes exactly sometimes you just want to basic info and decide for yourself how it looks and feels in practice.
Digital foundry are great but they go extremely deep and sometimes would have you think nothing issues are huge they are a bit tech snobby to be honest.
But it's a big shame with the gamestester YouTube did him wrong shouldn't of happened!

Looks very good it's a shame the Xboxtester (games tester) Maurice isn't doing YouTube videos anymore testing games his video where by far the best unless you're looking for a deep dive like digital foundry do.

To be honest with this one I expected it to be more story and no so much gameplay and I'll be very happy with that if it is the case.
I love those types of games when they are done well!

I know I'm in the minority here but calling the newest update for the colour scheme of the already established Xbox logo a new logo is really really annoying to me it's just a different colour scheme the logo is exactly the same it's not new.
No offence intended to Ben for this article as everyone everywhere is calling the logo new I don't want to come across like that.
If I change my clothes to a different style and colour and change my hair colour I'm not a new different person the same applies here it's literally not new just new colours!

It's all the same to me to be honest when I seen this story though the first thing that popped in my head was the degeneration X logo and music from the wrestling back when in the day!
Give me an animated Xbox logo with that tune next gen is basically a landslide win for Xbox!

Probably 80 to 89 it's Forza horizon we know what to expect now.
I'd love a slower progression to the super fast car though.
It will be great hopefully bug free!
Can't wait to get my Ferrari competition car it's old enough by now but when done up properly it kills on A tier it's been in nearly every Forza hopefully it's in this one!

There's certainly encouraging signs but not much solid changes or wins but the positivity around the brand is much better than at the start of the year!
Xbox/Microsoft are now fighting for there place in the console market it seems that can only be a good thing for gaming!

Yes when they are done properly like the resident evil remakes I played re 3&4 remakes and they were very good the oblivion remake was really good aswell but I'm not hyped for the black flag remake tbh

Aphelion is the one I'm very excited for I think it's going to be very good I'm hoping for a very strong story and a visual feast!

So far all I know I'm going to play is resident evil 4 separate ways after that I really don't know!
Hopefully I find something might start resident evil 2 remake not feeling modern warfare so far the campaign is just full of big clusterf*** battles and the is multiplayer kinda boring!
Maybe I'll go back to hogwarts and finish that game off I'm sure I'll find something ha happy weekend folks!

Do they need studios or purchase a couple good ip of games??
I can't really think of anyone worth while to buy but from software and they are Japanese and Sony has a decent stake in them.
Maybe a couple of movie IP pick up for games like already with Indiana Jones??
Get a good exclusive star wars game batman or even superman something kinda evergreen like that and do it with an in house studio already owned.
Obviously it needs to be a great game aswell but something like that would sell consoles I'd guess.
There's already built in fans for things like that Sony already have Spiderman and wolverine??

At least they are fighting for a space in the console market now it seems so that's a definite improvement.
The Xbox brand won't be getting sunsetted any time soon.
Microsoft owns enough studios time to put them to work create the next generation of must have popular games!

Wow one year on it goes quickly!
What a truly amazing game expedition 33 is the story characters world is all absolutely top notch!
I don't even like turned based games but this game is one of the best games of this generation.
I can only think of elden ring that I enjoyed playing as much as this.

@Nexozi Theres plenty of kiddie type games on Xbox my daughter plays loads of games through gamepass Barbie bluey Peppa pig lil croc the smurfs things like that granted non are at the level of Nintendo's games like that but they are the market leader in that type of game even playstation can't compete in that genre against them.

By reports it seems playstation are going down that route aswell next gen two console types and also a handheld.

Keep gears and halo exclusive cancel the games due to release on playstation if they are going that route id say!

I've said it a lot lately but these are very encouraging signs!
The outlook for Xbox is definitely more positive going forward now then it was before Sharma took over.
Microsoft seem very invested in console gaming for the next decade or there abouts it seems which is great news!!

I'll enjoy this probably when it drops onto a subscription service I would of rathered ezios games remastered to be honest.
But it still cool they did this!

Good the user experience on the consoles needs an update it's still all to similar to how it works on last gen Xbox consoles.
It's good they are more involved with the community and want to add more features.
