Remember back in late March when an Xbox fan had claimed to have discovered a new tier of Xbox Game Pass with the codename of TRITON? Well, it looks like that's now been unveiled in the form of Xbox Game Pass "Starter Edition", which has been uncovered via a leak from Discord Previews over on social media.
The account has shared some marketing material for Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition, which mentions that it's totally free for Discord Nitro members and comes with 50+ games, 10 hours of Xbox Cloud Gaming and Xbox Rewards.

This appears to be what Xbox boss Asha Sharma was referring to recently when she mentioned an Xbox Game Pass and Discord partnership, and it remains to be seen whether Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition will be totally exclusive to Discord Nitro members, or whether Xbox fans will be able to subscribe to it separately as well.
With the full version of Discord Nitro costing £9.99 / $9.99 per-month as things stand, it's largely equivalent to the cost of Xbox Game Pass Essential (which is £6.99 / $9.99), which also happens to include just over 50 Xbox Game Pass titles and unlimited Xbox Cloud Gaming access, making Essential arguably the better standalone version on paper.
