A new month begins! Therefore, we've inevitably got more Xbox games that are shutting down their servers over the next few weeks. There are actually only two full server closures as things stand, but there's more to talk about as well.

Let's start with those two games. The big one here is Battlefield Hardline, which just recently was delisted back on May 22nd, and it'll be shutting down its servers on June 22nd. This means all online functionality will disappear, but the excellent single-player campaign will remain playable going forward. Phew!

The other game is Rec Room, which is both getting delisted and shutting down its servers on June 8th. This is a free-to-play title that gained a lot of popularity in VR, allowing you to play various minigames and hang out with friends in a virtual space. It never seemed to really catch on for Xbox, and therefore it's disappearing entirely.

In terms of other impacted games this month, Xbox One players are losing access to future Pinball FX and Pinball M releases (along with Pinball FX – Seasons support as of June 1st), while Call of Duty: Warzone is also removing its in-game shop for Xbox One users on June 25th ahead of the game shutting its servers on XB1 and PS4 in late 2026.

And finally, even though it's not available on Xbox, you might be interested to know that Xbox-owned "The Elder Scrolls: Blades" is shutting down its servers for Android, iOS and Nintendo Switch on June 30th.

Looking ahead, July will bring us a shutdown for Madden NFL 23 along with partial shutdowns for DiRT Rally 2.0 and New World: Aeternum, and we'll bring you more details when we get there (potentially with some more additions).

So, what do you make of these server shutdowns for June on Xbox? Tell us down in the comments below.
