But I haven't gotten any of the things I was due off Microsoft for free in a long long time.

These party type games can be very fun to play and double fine do make very unique games.
I'll definitely give it a go anyways see if it's fun.
Trying out quirky different games you wouldn't normally drop money on to buy on gamepass is probably it's best benefit.
I've bought loads of games and become a fan of lots of gaming franchises I wouldn't of looked twice at before from playing them on gamepass.
Can't wait to see how it continues to evolve in the future.

Mobile gaming will only get bigger in the coming years it would be massively short sighted not to invest in mobile gaming.
Mobile devices are getting more and more powerful.
The recent red dead redemption remake on some mobiles is vastly superior to the 360 version.
Imagine the original gears trilogy on mobile or really any top games from the 360 era.
Microsoft/Xbox as a company is massive I could see them easily being able to up there game in the mobile market without neglecting there other platforms.

@Fiendish-Beaver There's rumours that playstation will have a premium console also a lite version similar to the series s this gen and also a handheld version.
If that becomes the norm for console generations now I think it's a good thing lots of games are very scalable nowadays and will probably need to be next gen aswell and possibly easier to implement with better upscalers like how pssr 2 is working wonders currently.
Making a 900p and lower image look 4k through upscaling is amazing to me.

@Fiendish-Beaver I'd bet my house on Microsoft making the next Xbox themselves although not concretely confirmed its almost certain they will in my opinion.

@AI-Generation The playstation 5 pro is newer more and powerful and has the use of pssr which is a newer upscaler better than the series x can use.
It's mighty impressive how they can upscale an image rendering below 900p and make it look 4k.
I think next gen the technique and quality of upscalers will be a huge advantage no need to have the game native 4k when you can upscale easily to that while rendering at a much lower resolution.

Considering the rumours going around that Sony will have at least 3 versions of playstation next gen at differing prices and power this can only be a good thing for Xbox.
Considering how expensive next gen will be they should definitely do a less powerful cheaper alternative like the series s was this generation.

I'd say keep some games exclusive like gears halo proper Xbox titles like that but in all honesty I don't really care the more games people can play on different platforms the better.
Exclusives only benefit the company not the consumer in my opinion i don't get any joy knowing someone on a different console can't play games that are exclusive to my console of choice!

All this is a bit of a damp squib for me I enjoyed the game the first time around but it wasn't anything truly amazing for my money

Well anything 100 under the current standard retail price of the consoles would have to be a good deal ina sense.
But the in reality the series x should really be 300 euros by now if things were normal.

When I seen this I thought this is a great way to further devalue the conversation value of reward points but hopefully I'm wrong I'm earning more lately than ever before.
