Publisher Nacon has revealed a new release date for its upcoming shooter Robocop: Rogue City - well, sort of. We don't have a full nailed on release date just yet, but the Robocop FPS is coming to Xbox Series X|S in September 2023.

That's a slight delay out of June 2023; the release window given last summer. This one is looking pretty good for a movie tie-in, especially coming off the back of the dev team's recent Terminator title. Terminator: Resistance has gathered a bit of a cult following since its 2019 launch and we're expecting Robocop: Rogue City to deliver similar results!

Here's a bit more of what to expect from your adventure through 'Rogue City' this September:

"Become the iconic part man, part machine, all cop hero as you attempt to bring justice to the dangerous, crime-ridden streets of Old Detroit. Armed with your trusty Auto-9, factory-built strength, years of experience on the force and a variety of tools at your disposal, you will fight forces seeking to destroy the city you call home in an all new first-person, explosive hunt for the truth.

You have the power to decide how to fulfil prime directives in your own way, but as the story unfolds proceed with caution because corruption and greed know no limits."
