Hi-Fi Rush is still my favourite game of the year. Absolutely loved every minute of it and hope there's a sequel in the works.

I'm so sick of this. Why can't it be over already?

R* really have become just like Valve. Barely develop games and milk fans through online purchases and subscriptions.

I would prefer it if games that leave Game Pass were just deleted or were shown in a separate tab. Showing disc games is useful but again it would be easier if it was another tab or filter option on the main list.

Seems like they've half arsed the implementation of this.

I hope that any design of a digital only Series X doesn't end up being a cylinder. Awkward looking and unnecessary.

People who jump on Phil are usually people who want every Xbox first party game to be on PlayStation with nothing in return.

Phil is giving gamers far more choice on where to play Xbox games compared to Sony. But that doesn't mean they need to give away the farm.

The Xbox HDMI adapter from Kaico works amazingly well for around £50. I've been using mine for well over 2 years and it's brilliant. Available easily on Amazon too.

@JakobU Well said Sir. I'm currently playing through Shadow Warrior. Decent enough and I know I don't have to give up my wife and pets for it.

I've really grown tired of games that demand hundreds of hours of gameplay as I've got older. Give me a nice, linear 10 hour game and I'm happy.

Every positive about this controller is cancelled out by a couple of negatives.

Something really needs to be done about game preservation.

How about you play some games instead of whining about a UI that works perfectly. If I want to play a game I either put in a disc and move my control stick to the right to select it OR move the control stick up to select a game from my library.

@Mauzuri I like the Switch dashboard as it's almost overly basic. Perfect for anyone who uses it in handheld mode. The PS5 dashboard is good but there are silly little things that annoy me. I also have no idea why they haven't introduced folders when it was there on PS4.

This new Xbox dashboard is the best of the 3 though in my opinion.

Mine arrived today and I have to say that I really like it. I guess if you use more than the home screen it's probably less fun to use but it's pretty perfect for me.

I am so f***ing bored of this now. I bet the lawyers are loving this.

If it doesn't happen then I'm fairly certain that Xbox will go scorched Earth on this and buy Sega, Konami and Capcom.

I actually really liked Quake 4 and am still surprised that it was never made backwards compatible.

The gunplay kind of reminds me of Black. Looks fantastic.

I can still see myself buying this at some point.

It wasn't a PS exclusive as it also came out on Switch.

I'd actually completely forgotten about this game. I'm going to go back and play the first two.

I can't think of a single reason why Quake 4 was never made BC. It baffles me.

Semi-interesting fact: Xenon was actually going to be the name of the console before they decided on Xbox 360. I managed a Game store in the build up to the 360 launch and we had tons of demo videos and marketing material that referenced it as Xenon. There was also a DOA4 demo video that had a message from Team Ninja in the background of a fight saying 'Congratulations on the Xenon launch from all at Team Ninja'

@Kaloudz Whatever. I guess some of us just like our moons with clouds, rain, rivers, lakes and seas of liquid hydrocarbons like methane and ethane.

With the number of franchises Xbox own, it always surprises me how few get used.

They're not quite as bad as Nintendo in that regard but it's still very frustrating.

@Kaloudz @UnusedBabyWipes Apparently Jim Ryan has been having lots of dialogue with Saturn's moon Titan and is fairly confident they'll reject the acquisition.

If they go against it then the other 123 moons are likely to follow suit.

As a UK gamer I'd be absolutely gutted if Xbox withdrew from the market or reduced what's available in any way. Hopefully the deal gets pushed through despite the incompetence of the CMA.
