Fastest growing region? That's not that too tricky coming off a generation that used to sell double digits in Japan per week.

As a multiplatform gamer, I'd love to see a massive power play like Capcom or Sega being snapped up. Something like that would shake up the entire industry forever. As huge as the Bethesda deal is, seeing things like Sonic or Resident Evil tied to one platform would change the entire gaming landscape.

Conker and Banjo blew me away on N64 and they still do today on Xbox. Surely now would be a great time for sequels. 3D platformers haven't been this popular in years.

This should definitely happen. I loved both of these games. The more Xbox exclusives the better.

I remember going into Game and playing Dead or Alive on their demo unit. I was blown away by the quality of the graphics and I'm genuinely still impressed by them today.

I hope this doesn't become a consistent thing with Series S. I really don't want to see the system phased out as it's a fantastic machine for the money.

Random question given the topic, but does anyone else who owns multiple consoles buy certain games for one machine over another? I find myself buying a game on Switch or Xbox or PlayStation because it feels right for that system. Please tell me I'm not the only one!

Surely the fact the originals are available digitally via backwards compatibility and upscaled for One X and Series X should make this easy???

I'm going to get this for Xbox so that I can have almost the complete selection of games on one machine. I'd like to see NG3 available via BC at some point to have to full list.

I love this series and I'm hoping for a comeback now that the deal has gone through.

I love these games but seriously, let it go. They don't need to span 3 console generations.

@mousieone I love the Dreamcast controller. Even the cable being in the wrong place doesn't bother me. And I actually bought a Duke for my OG Xbox from eBay a couple of months ago.

The Dualshock 1, 2 and 3 are still my least favourite controllers ever. They were far too cramped and symmetrical for the sake of it. Poor triggers and sticks. I prefer my Atari Jaguar controller to those abominations.

I never understood the hate for the N64 controller and you certainly didn't need 3 hands to play it.

@NEStalgia Xbox Live brought online gaming to the mainstream console audience. Dreamcast pioneered this and Sony then followed the Xbox model with the PS3 generation.

I adore this game. Such a great setting and lovely combat.

Although I do wish they had the both versions or each game in the disc.

@BlueOcean The Original NG3 only had one melee weapon but there were some darker moments and different alternate world scenes. I liked both versions.

I really cannot decide whether to get this on Switch or Xbox. I have all the 'true' Ninja Gaiden games on Xbox already and the Sigma games on PlayStation. I just wish they had included all versions of each game. NG, NG Black, NG Sigma, NG 2, NG Sigma 2, NG 3 and NG 3 RE. That would be a proper collection.

Either it's a PR stunt or there's some really incompetent management making decisions.

Personally I'd like to see the back of Gold and there only be one subscription with Game Pass and everything else rolled into one.

@Link41x I agree to an extent but I think to most modern gamers Ninja Gaiden is a franchise associated with Xbox. I had the original on NES but the modern and past games are completely different things in my mind.

Well that's a kick in the nuts! I know I'm in the vast minority but I loved Ninja Gaiden 3 and Razor's Edge. NG Black and NG 2 are some of my favourite ever and the combat hasn't aged a day in my eyes. I've owned pretty much every version of each game on all platforms and was really hoping for a new game in the series. A trilogy release with original 3 and Sigma/RE versions included would be a day one preorder for me.

@KelticDevil I completely agree that devs should be allowed to make what it wants. A new Banjo game would sell like absolute hotcakes and with the resurgence of interest in games like Crash and Spyro I think it could be a genuine system seller. And Conker to a lesser extent. I also think that a Blast Corps remake/sequel would be amazing with current gen technology. And yes, the Kinect s*** still upsets me too. It's also depressing that the initial game is their biggest selling game.

@KelticDevil I have played their games since the N64 and they've been lukewarm at best. Nobody bought an Xbox for Sea of Thieves regardless of how much of a 'hit' it was. Rare have a ton of IP that people would buy an Xbox for and it seems massively stupid to ignore that. If Rare don't want to make games for their own IP then Microsoft should step in and farm them out to other 1st party studios as they did with Killer Instinct and now Perfect Dark. For a console that's perceived to have a lack of strong exclusive titles compared to the competition, it's baffling.

@xMightyMatt14x Agreed. Anything at this point would be welcome. Personally I'd love them to do a complete overhaul of one of their older franchises like Jet Force Gemini or Blast Corps.

I had and Elite, S and still have my E model. Amazing system with so many wonderful games.

I'm planning to get both the X and S. I'll keep my S in a separate room to play all my digital games and Gamepads. My X will be in the living room with all my lovely discs.

One of my favourite consoles ever. It was such a powerhouse at the time and some of the console exclusive games looked and sounded incredible. How they got Doom 3 and Half Life 2 running and looking so amazing is still baffling to me.

That's just ridiculous. Hopefully this won't happen too frequently or Microsoft really will have a job on their hands not confusing the hell out of consumers.
